Rush Limbaugh is not a fan of Howard Stern ... and last night, he issued a subtle diss to his radio rival ... and it was all caught on video.

Rush was leaving Toscana in L.A. when we asked what he thought about Jesse Ventura telling the media he wants to run for President in 2016 with Howard Stern as his running mate.

And what did Rush have to say about it ... "Who? I don't know who you're talking about."

Boom.

Limbaugh and Stern ain't exactly on friendly terms -- in the past, Stern has referred to Limbaugh as an "idiot," a "loon" and said "he's insane." Stern has also said the guy is "out of touch."

We haven't ever heard Limbaugh fire back ... until now.

Hate Ventura & Stern personally and I wouldn't have taken that question seriously even...Ventura would have a hard time running for president since he's suing a dead SEAL's wife....WHAT a great American he is...he would be the first president with a tin foil hat though.

Funny.
I thought Stern was dead.
Limbaugh may have not even heard the question, he is deaf in one ear and an implant in the other, a friend of mine has one and she says if she isn't standing in the right direction she can not hear you.

That's funny.
I thought Stern had died.
However, Limbaugh has a conciliar implant and actually may not have heard the question
