Chris Brown

The Real Problem Is Still Rihanna

10/29/2013 6:14 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Chris Brown got a hot meal after getting sprung from jail, and TMZ has learned ... his people aren't that worried about the misdemeanor assault charge -- they're WAY more concerned about the impact it will have on his probation status in the Rihanna case.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the charge against Chris was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor because the victim's injuries weren't that severe and witness statements conflicted.   The reality is -- worst case scenario ... Chris won't do any time for the assault.

The Rihanna case is much more problematic.  As we first reported, the L.A. County Probation Dept. is already conducting an investigation to determine if Chris violated his probation.  As one source familiar with the investigation tells us, "It's pretty clear he didn't keep his nose clean.  It sure seems like a violation."

The Probation Dept. will submit a report to the judge in the Rihanna case, and the D.A. will then weigh in -- based on what we know, they will almost certainly ask the judge to REVOKE Chris' probation.

Worst case scenario for Chris ... if probation is revoked, 4 years in State prison.

Why does TMZ say "more problematic" when everyone reading this thinks "most encouraging" or "most promising" ??
The ONLY person for whom this scenario is problematic for is Chris Brown and no one is taking his side...except possibly your writers.
Furthermore, the "worst case scenario" is that he continues to remain unfettered, hurts more people, and privilege continues to be dolled out by his fame, money and top-shelf lawyering. I would have thought the faked community service would garner more than additional community service.

Who writes this stuff? If Chris Brown doesn't serve time for this assault, that would be a BEST CASE scenario, NOT a worst case. {Perhaps the author ".. was absent the day they taught law at law school", if you know what I mean.

The real problem is that he's an ******* from the ghetto.

although it depends on the seriousness of the violation, breaking any sort of law while on any type of probation means you have violated probation.

Celebs are too much of a liability. He won't see real jail time

Why even bother printing this stuff. Justice doesn't apply to douche bags with money.

If he does do jail time it will be 20 days just like Lindsey lohan. The only way these celebs get actual jail time is if they mess with the feds, kill someone, rape someone. And out of those 3 the only solid one is messing with the feds.
