Shaquille O'Neal

Political Playmaker

Christie Endorsement Was MY Idea

EXCLUSIVE

Shaquille O'Neal's still calling the shots -- but now in the political arena -- telling TMZ it was HIS brilliant idea to endorse Republican NJ Gov. Chris Christie.

Shaq -- who's a native of Newark -- was in neighboring NYC last night when we asked about the Governor's newest strategy ... a 30-second campaign commercial featuring the big man (O'Neal not Christie).

Clearly, Shaq's a big fan ... telling us Christie's "a good man" who's done a lot for the Garden State. ...  that's why he came up with what could be a game winning play for the Governor.

Many Republicans in congress don't like Christie because he thinks like us humans and vote for the benefit of his people in New Jersey. I'm more liberal, but if I had to have a republican President I wouldn't mind Christie. Oh yeah, I guess Shaq is kind of like the man.

I hate celebrity political endorsements. WGF who Shaq or any other celebrity supports? Read, educate yourself, and make your own decision. Hopefully we all will make better choices and get this current crew OUT of Congress before they FU this country even more. Christie is cool because he has the nads to actually express a viewpoint and not a rehearsed PR blob.

I just hope Shaq is educated in politics and is making a endorsement out of knowledge. If he is that's great. He should encourage more people to read up on local and world politics. Everyone should know whats going on around them.

And it was almost as good as Dennis Rodman's endorsement of Kim Jong Un.

I hate when borderline retarded black folks do this. They have to be financially compensated for this public display of defection. Being black and going through or living in New Jersey is no picnic and those Tamahu people are still racist. So vote and endorse dees nutz.

What's the problem, Shaquille has as much right to voice his opinion as anyone.

Why hate on Shaq for his endorsement? Why not blame voters who make decisions just because someone famous told them it was a good idea? I vote the way I want. Not by what someone tells me. And P.s. If you don't vote, you can not complain about anything that person who wins does. You gave up that right when you did not go to the polls.
