Tippy tow Turkey Day ... Big Sean's giving back big time this Thanksgiving, handing out more than 650 turkeys to the needy in Detroit on Tuesday ... but stop, the rapper also made it ham-mer time.

In addition to the turkeys, we're told Big Sean gave away more than 100 hams to the Metropolitan Detroit Area through his charity the Sean Anderson Foundation. Mike Epps even stopped by to help!

All told, the food is expected to provide roughly 30,000 meals for families around the city over the next 3 days.

Now pass pass pass pass pass pass pass the gravy.

Tell the turkeys that they died for charity.

They need to tell the woman grabbing the free turkey that it is for those who are truly needy such as seniors. It is not for folks like her sporting $150.00 weave and $40 nail job. Typical.

Mike Epps should get a shout out too for helping people on Thanksgiving. That is him in the pic isn't it?

Imagine if more rappers/musicians gave back to the communities they came from, and not just money and food, but real support in the form of setting examples of leadership, humility, generosity, family, and work ethic. Sean is doing his part.

Why didn't you comment on what kind of vehicles they were driving in this story the way you did in the last story of a celeb/sports figure donating their time and no doubt their money to charity? These people are different?

And the question of today on the lips of all those lucky turkey recipients is "What about tomorrow?" Great photo op!

It's about time TMZ reported some black rappers doing something good. My local food bank is my favorite charity so seeing these guys providing thousands of meals is terrific. America has the fattest population on earth...we certainly should not have anybody going hungry. Skip a few meals and donate their value to those in need.

Really awesome thiing to do. But, what does he do the other 364 days a year. I hate it when people only give twice a year thanksgiving & Christmas and they want a big pat on the back or have to tweet & instagram what a hero they are. If your truly giving from the heart no one needs to know. Jmo
