Paul Walker

Final Moments Before Fatal Ride [Photo]

EXCLUSIVE

Moments before Paul Walker took what turned out to be a fatal ride -- he posed proudly next to the exotic car that exploded on impact in the deadly accident.

Paul was photographed with the red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that belonged to his friend Roger Rodas. They were attending a fundraiser in Santa Clarita, CA.

We're told the photos and video were taken about 30 minutes before the accident.

As TMZ first reported ... Paul had put together the charitable event -- through his Reach Out Worldwide organization -- to support typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines.

Paul was the passenger in the Porsche when Rodas lost control and slammed into a tree. The car exploded, and the Sheriff's Department says speed was a factor.

Of course speed was a factor. A car doesn't ****ter like that doing the speed limit.

Such a tragic waste. My heart goes out to the family and friends.

Auto Week just did a story about this car. Looks like they're too much to handle. This car didn't have many miles on it.

Where I live you get all sorts of guys with these expensive toys, and I cannot believe the sorts of risks they take on the road. All I can say is thank goodness these guys were smart enough to take their shena****ns off the road, and do it in an empty parking lot.... At least no other people were hurt though. RIP.

What doesn't make sense to me is, regardless of the HIGH speeds, to hit that small tree should NOT have blown up the car.. At a high speed, the car shoulda hit the tree, and knocked it over. For it to blow up like that, they woulda had to spun outta control, hit something in the rear, (that's where the engine is) then hit the tree (and maybe with a little help from NAS if that was the case).. They were racers, they knew how to drive, this just doesn't add up to me..
