Paul Walker

Body Unidentifiable

... Autopsy Delayed

12/1/2013 9:15 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Paul Walker's body was burned so badly the coroner needs his dental records to identify the body ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for the L.A. County Coroner tells us ... the bodies of Paul and his friend/business partner Roger Rodas are currently unidentifiable and their autopsies will be delayed until later this week.

We're told the coroner is waiting on both sets of dental records before proceeding.

Rodas -- who was driving the Porsche yesterday -- was friends with Walker for nearly a decade ... and Roger has been credited with helping Paul start his race shop.

The two also joined forces to create the "Reach Out World Wide" Foundation to help disaster relief in other countries -- and as we first reported ... the group was behind yesterday's fundraiser for typhoon relief in Santa Clarita.

Paul's rep says Roger and Paul were leaving the event when they wrecked.

Rodas was 38 years old.

These cars are really made for the track but with blinkers and headlights they're street legal...

Surviving a crash has allot to do with the interior "space" around the occupants - these matchboxes have none and you become trapped with any side impact. Most drivers, including the one's with a 20 hour high performance driving course - do not really have the skills for rear-engine 500+ hp.

Sad the dude was going to this event...and no idea it was the last.

if his dbag friend was a professional driver, he should have KNOWN that car has a tendency for tailspins, look it up. secondly, what is he doing driving like that on a public street??? unfortunate for paul, he got into a car with a phucken moron who acts like a 13 year old.

Sometimes people forget they aren't invincible. 10 minutes before the crash Paul & his friend were probably smiling & in great spirits then a short time later they were dead. so senseless

Why were there people who saw him buckled up still and said we were trying to unbuckle him but everyone kept pulling eachother off.. Paul could have been saved OMG why why why =(

This didn't have to happen. If the driver didn't act irresponsibly, both he and Paul would be here right now. So very sad. Completely senseless.

Did he died?

The details as they emerge are terribly sad to read. But, in reading all the arguments about what the news is publishing and the harm it is causing, just listen to the lyrics of Dirty Laundry by Don Henley. This song was written in the 80's about the news media. Nothing will ever change as sad as that may sound. As long as the tragedy isn't happening to them, it's news.

Maybe Biebs and the Lil's will learn a lesson from this . These celebrities buy gigantic race cars that they can't drive. Kimmycakes looks totally ridiculous trying to drive the beast she bought to impress Kanye. He will probably take the both of them out someday. Norf will be spared because she's never with them. No sense buying a 4 seater.
