File this one under: OOOPS.

"Wheel of Fortune" aired an episode last night that featured a puzzle with the answer "The Fast and the Furious" ... just days after Paul Walker died ... and now the show is in full spin mode.

During the show, producers ran a crawl on the top of the screen that read, "This episode was taped a few weeks ago, prior to the tragic passing of 'The Fast and the Furious' actor Paul Walker."

After the show aired, Pat Sajak tweeted, "Feel terrible about timing of 'Fast & Furious' puzzle tonight. Taped long ago & went out to 200 local stations days ago."

Still, it's unclear why producers didn't simply pull the episode to run at a later date.

why should they be so sorry its not like they meant to offend anyone comeon now it was already programmed before he died and I see nothing wrong even if it was after its a film title!

No one should have to apologize for something that is out of the their control.
Sorry if anyone disagrees with me but while I feel bad that Paul Walker died so young and a in a burning car, I can't help but think it was irresponsible to be going that fast... I know he wasn't driving, but he could have told his friend to slow down or just said he should get out of the car. They sped down a road they shouldn't have and fortunately no one else was involved in this horrific accident.
The media needs to stop telling us how we should feel about situations!

Sometimes I feel as though many of the people that complain on these types of pages have nothing better to do in their lives. Whats that big deal? There is NOTHING for Wheel to be sorry for. Paul Walker was a good man who died to young and its nice that people will remember him. Get over it and move on...

What is there to feel terrible about? Is everything about him just supposed to disappear?

I don't get why they apologized. It was just happenstance.

There are far too many irrelevant stories being put out by the media. That in itself stinks of a cover up. Yes conspiracy boards are going crazy BUT there are oddities that are NOT being reported. Do a little research and you'll see what myself and countless others do. Hint, tsunami

Fast and Furious is also an illegal Mexican drug cartel gun running operation gifted by the Obama administration & leading the charge whose guns are still killing people.
An estimated 400 Mexican citizens and two US Border Patrol agents have died.
