Paul Walker

Small Family Funeral

'Fast & Furious' Crew Invited

12/10/2013 5:05 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

Paul Walker
's funeral will be private ... for family only, and in Paul's world his movie's cast and crew is part of the brood.

Sources connected with Paul's family tell TMZ ... their biggest concern is Paul's 15-year-old daughter Meadow, who is understandably having a difficult time.  They don't want a bunch of strangers surrounding the girl, because she needs to feel comfortable to grieve.

So the funeral will be by invitation only, and Paul felt the folks on the "Fast & Furious" cast and crew were close relatives.  He was with them a lot and bonded with most of them.

The family is also aware ... the cast and crew are grieving just like them, and the funeral will help them cope.

It's unclear when the funeral will take place.  Family sources tell TMZ ... sometime after the funeral there will be a larger memorial, but still by invitation only.

Its nice to hear he has a Real family & Not ones that are just after publicly or money. I hope this brings them a time of peace and closure.

But ya know TMZ will found out when it is. So instead of letting his family and friends grieve in peace they will be there to take pictures to do yet another article on Paul Walkers death.

I wish it never happened to him and we would not read about his funeral here

Why bother?! Funerals are ridiculous and who the f**k ever gets closure from attending one when someone dies tragically and/or tragically young? Time is the only thing that heals (sometimes), not funerals. And, funerals now days are just obscenely expensive (not that either man's families will have a problem with costs) it's just a fact.

Yes, I'm That Leah

Only family should be there, his celebrity friends don't care. They will back on the set like nothing ever happened real soon.
And someone is trying to get a spin off.... drumroll....

Tyreese Gibson is trying to take Paul's spot! All that fake grieving he was doing. Tweeting, no tears and taking dirt home..... ughh.

RIP. Tragic, his sudden death, but at least he was doing what he loved.

Good, it didn't need to be turned into some kind of spectacle anyway. It should just be family.

Can't TMZ do a story on Crack Mayor in Canada instead of beating a dead horse like the Paul Walker tragedy?! Guess not.

It is sad that Mr. Walker died such a horrific death. However, he seems to be getting much more publicity being dead than he ever did while he was alive.
