'SNL' Hopeful

Secret Black Women Audition Was Just a

Publicity Stunt

EXCLUSIVE

Saturday Night Live's secret audition to find an African-American female was total BS -- at least according to one actress who tried out, but thinks it was only thrown together to quiet SNL's critics ... not to find a new cast member.

Comedian Tiffany Haddish tells TMZ the Dec. 2 talent search at The Groundlings Theatre in L.A. felt like it was a dog and pony show, partially because executive producer Lorne Michaels wasn't there -- and he's known to attend most auditions.

Other sources at the try-out tell us it seemed too conveniently timed -- coming on the heels of current cast members Jay Pharoah and Kenan Thompson publicly blasting 'SNL' producers for not hiring a Black female.

Jay even named names -- claiming 'SNL' producers blew off actress Darmirra Brunson after agreeing to give her a shot. Interestingly, Darmirra was at the L.A. audition.

If 'SNL' found the right chick ... they're not saying yet -- but Tiffany thinks "they already know who they want ... they're just wasting all these black women's time and gas money."

So, we gotta ask ...

I watched the very first episode of SNL - at 12-years-old.
I've seen the show over the years, some of the various
casts were extremely entertaining. Then around 2003,
the show was often not watchable, reduced to lame-attempts at sexual-humor.
After all these years, the casting has been comprised
of a near-United Nations, with one deplorable and
designed exception. Now, I realize Lorne Michaels
comes from the land of crack-smoking -yet overweight?- mayors.....SO:
A true television pioneer and innovator,
Desi Arnaz Sr. (Little Nitty)?
Does the names The Nina, The Pinta, and Santa Maria,
mean ANYTHING to a Cannuck?
WHO is the largest "Minority" group in "America"?
(*Note: Bad Charo-imitations from Columbia, and
other inexcusable stereotypes? NOT.)
Lorne Michaels....SHAME on YOU...eh.

SNL does not want the double headed monster Sharpton-Jackson up their ass . Continue to ignore Asians and Histpanics, however, they don't complain that much.

Maybe there aren't any young black women who are funny enough or talented enough compared to the white guys and gals... how about that? Why should Lorne be forced to have an affirmative action program and hire someone who is less qualified just because of her color or sex?

Sheryl Underwood? She would have way more freedom to be herself than on "The Talk" where her and Sharon O. have to constantly hold back their true selves unless they want to publicly retract what they say the next day under the direction of Julie Chen. Although Sheryl has been getting pretty heated lately. Good for her. All this PC nonsense is just adding to the dumbing down of this place. No one can get a dryhumored joke anymore. So phucking uptight.

Anyone want to GUESS which comedian bombed her audition for SNL??? You all know if her audition went well this TMZ piece would have had a total different point of view from her. Look up her on YouTube, her voice is horrible and all i can picture her doing is "step and fetch" skits. Would love to see what she did when they asked her to do impressions, had to be real bad in that monotone voice of hers.

These commenter's on this blog are the most prejudice losers I've ever came across in my life. I guess you all have to make racist remarks behind your computer screen because certainly couldn't in real life. May karma be with you cowards.

Whether it was stunt or not, I don't understand the big deal. None of them would be the first black woman in the cast. Maya Rudolph is black.
