Cops Summon Porsche Experts from Germany

The Paul Walker death investigation has taken a new turn -- mechanical experts who work at Porsche in Germany are flying out to L.A. in an attempt to get to the bottom of what caused the fatal crash ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... they want a full analysis of the Carrera GT, including brakes, engine and body.  They also want the experts to help determine speed at the time of impact.  Our sources say they're also interested in the tires, and at least one is available for analysis because it was not completely destroyed in the fire.

TMZ broke the story, the L.A. County Coroner determined Walker died from a combination of impact and flames.

The Porsche experts will be working with Sheriff investigators to make an attempt to determine a clear cause of the crash.

He was killed! The Illuminati Cards have the Assassination Card - It's a red car (similar to this one) bursting into flames. What are the chances?

I would think that having the Porsche execs determine the speed would be a bit of a conflict of interest. Doesn't L.A. have their own accident investigators? I understand asking the execs about the tires and performance of the car, but the speed... shouldn't that be done by someone who doesn't have a vested interest in the outcome?

(I'm not saying that speed wasn't a factor in the crash, but if you want a controversy free outcome, independent investigators is the way to go.)

WFT? People die in car crashes daily. Are my tax dollars gonna pay for a Toyota executive to fly out from Japan every day? HE'S NOT SPECIAL. Porsche shoulda told LAPD to take a hike.

Bitte! It's cold and rainy in Germany and this is a great way to come out to SoCal on the company dime (euro).

The conclusion?
1. Speed was a factor
2. Driving skill (lack of) was a factor

Harvey Levin KNOWS this is typical when a vehicle has caused deaths and a website like this one has continuously and publicly blamed the car, the dots on the roadway and anything else BUT the driver traveling on a city street at 100MPH. I've had a long standing career working for a major auto manuf - NOT PORSCHE -. Since Paul was a semi famous man, there will be a wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche and the Porsche product liability lawyers are performing their own investigation to prepare for it. If you extract out the bozos at TMZ and their efforts to blame the car, it's reasonable to expect the vehicle to have a fuel fed fire when hitting a tree at 100 MPH. TMZ has been reckless with reporting.

If Michael Hastings would've spent more time making terrible movies and less time criticizing our government would Mercedes experts have been summoned from Germany?

en Todo Momento!!

looks like something you'd find in afghanistan.. car bomb? in LA/central california??? the whole center, the whole core of the car is disintegrated. i don't think you're going to need no damn 'porsche experts' to figure out how the hell that could have happened. do they need to check whose screws are loose? or are they going to check for some terror signals?

I don't understand how this car model could be street legal. There were almost no safety features (if any), and even race car drivers couldn't handle it. Indy car driver Graham Rahal was a previous owner of this car, and he sold it because it was too difficult to drive.
