'Duck Dynasty' Stars

Biggest Sponsor Pledges Support

Under Armour Won't Cut Ties

12/19/2013 1:34 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The guys from "Duck Dynasty" are NOT in danger of losing their biggest sponsor, Under Armour -- 'cause while the company tells TMZ its not down with Phil Roberston's homophobic comments, its not willing to kill the business relationship ... yet.

UA -- which sponsors the Duck Commander business, founded by Phil -- just issued a statement to TMZ ... saying, "We have no plans to change our current relationship.

The company adds, "We are obviously aware of the situation. And his comments are not indicative of Under Armour's views."

UA insists the company is committed to treating all people equally and with respect ... even if Phil isn't.

TMZ are trying their hardest to persecute poor Phil Robertson any which way they can, but from reading everyone's comments, we're all with Phil!

Good for both of them. Free speech is alive. Lets keep it that way.

Good! Guess what I'm gonna go give as presents?!?! UNDER ARMOUR!!!!!!
I am far from being anti-gay BUT I am ALL for freedom of speech and religion!
BAM!!! That just happened!!!

I don't think they read all of his comments. He said he would not treat anyone differently even if he didn't agree with their sexual preference. People need to stop putting words in his mouth that he didn't say.

Me Me

He said that being gay was a sin. That is not a homophobic comment. A phobia is a fear. No where in there did he say anything about being afraid, nor did he imply it. You should probably know what words mean before you use them in an article.

Liberals are intolerant bigots

Wow TMZ staff, could your writing be any more biased? I'm guessing you failed out of your journalism major and had to resort to writing this dreck.

I am a strong supporter of the LGBT community, however, freedom of speech is one of our basic rights. However ignorant and intolerant others choose to be is their right as long as it is not harming another person. So many religious people are screaming about how homosexuality is an abomination, what about the fact that it is forbidden to wear mixed fabrics (leviticus 19:19) or eat pork (leviticus 11:7-8) or to engage in premarital sex (Corinthians 7:8-9)? Or what about this doozy: In God's eyes all sins are the same (John 2:10). Or what about God being the only one worthy of casting judgement in the first place? (John 8:7) I have a wonderful suggestion: Mind your business and leave the judgement to your maker. That is if you are a true believer and believe the whole word... If you pick and choose you are no better than the gay man you accuse of being unholy, who for the record is just as loved by God as anyone else. =P

A&E is looking worse and worse and this goes on. For those who say they are his employer and they can put him on hiatus as he may broken a "employee rule" - contract - whatever ! If you watch this show you know that does not phase him one bit. What is ridiculous is A&E wants the glory of reality TV but wants to filter what reality is - this family is as real as they get. He speaks his mind every damn show, he never waivers or has in his beliefs and why should he filter it for an article. That is what makes this show great! It's not Bravo take two drunk RHOBH scenes or staging. Keep doing what your doing Phil - it seems you and your fans and family are behind you!

I do Not share His beliefs, on pretty much Everything, BUT i openly support ALL the family's choices from keeping the prayer to HONESTY about the "fake bleeping" that the producers thought to Add! And Now this, A$$ HATS, the Entire Industry! NEVER knows when to just leave stuff ALONE!! Phil was deliberately bated and the Plan BACKFIRED!

Some how this guy is fired for something he said in an interview. Yet R.Kelly actually urinates on underage girls and people still buy his music.http://ll-assets.tmz.com/www.tmz.com/default/cache/images/btn-comment.v2013_11_14_104338.png

Why can't gay people leave their sexual preferences in the bedroom? I like to pee on my gf should I lead my life based on that and get special protection because of that?? Ridiculous!!!

It's called FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Cut and dry. Plain and simple. Black and white.

This is not about freedom of speech! His employer didn't like what he said and that is all. No rights have been infringed upon.
