'Magnum P.I.' House

Be a Baller Like Selleck

$15 Mil Pad for Sale

2/2/2014 12:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The Hawaiian estate where "Magnum PI" peeled out his red Ferrari and squabbled with Higgins ... is now on the market  for just over $15 million -- Ferrari not included.

The oceanfront spread on Oahu covers 3 acres ... with a 8,921 sq. ft mansion that includes 5 bedrooms and 5 baths. Bonus property: a boat house, tennis courts, and a separate bath house.

The home was the setting for Robin's Nest -- a private club and guest house where Tom Selleck's character lived for all 9 seasons of the show.

The $15,750,000 asking price also gets you access to that awesome lagoon where Magnum went swimming.

Now here's the greatest Hawaiian private detective theme song of all time ...

If I had $16 million dollars to spend on a second home this would be the house. My 17 year old sons favorite show of all time is Magnum PI and it was one of my favorite shows when I was a teenager. This home was so beautiful for the time that it was filmed and I'm sure it has been remodeled on the interior but the outside of the home and the grounds immediately send a flashback to seeing Higgins scolding Thomas for one reason or another or sicking the Doberman's on him and then rushing to help save Thomas right along with Rick and TC. I don't know if it was because of the great way that there characters got along and were always there for each other, the beautiful people running around half naked, the beautiful scenery or some other reason but everyone that loved the show could lose themselves for an hour each week and wishing that there lives could be like this. Whoever purchases this home I certainly wish they would share photo's with the fans of the show because it has been years since this amazing home has been a part of everyone's lives.

I would give my left nut to have this house. Trouble is my left but is worth $2.37 on the open market, not $15 million

I would be happy just to walk through the house.

Does it come with the dogs (Zeus and Apollo)?

Mr. Sellek should buy it just for how funny it would be. Hire a manager for the property named Higgins and get a couple Dobbie's to boot. Hahaha

The price of real estate on Oahu sure has gone up. That estate was built in the 1930's. In 1942, you could've purchased it for $100,000.
