Paul Walker's Will

$25 Million Estate

Curious Language

2/4/2014 12:50 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Paul Walker was worth $25 million when he died and there seems to be some possibility of a family conflict ... this, based on new documents obtained by TMZ.

We've obtained a copy of Paul Walker's will. Walker left his entire estate -- $25 mil -- to his 15-year-old daughter Meadow.

Paul's dad -- the named executor -- filed Paul's will with the court.  Paul's dad has petitioned the court to appoint Paul's mother -- Cheryl -- guardian of Meadow.  What's more, Paul's dad wants Cheryl to be the guardian of the $25 mil. This is exactly what Paul wanted under the will.

Now Meadow lives with her mom, Rebecca Soteros. If Paul gets his last wish, grandma will become Meadow's guardian. It's unclear if Rebecca approves, but it's definitely strange that Paul wanted his mom to be guardian since Meadow lives with Rebecca.

A court hearing is scheduled for later this month.

Meadow's mother is alive. Why would she live with her grandmother if one parent is alive? Are there conditions under which meadow would be able to have the $25 mill. Meaning...she'll only get the $25 mill IF she lives with Paul's mom? Also, I hope that the money will be watched for Meadows sake because after all, it belongs to her not his mom/dad and siblings.

He had custody of her when he passed, there must be a reason... Either way, she's old enough to make a decision on where and with whom she wants to live with, I hope they let her have a voice....

It seems like he was their cash cow and the truth comes out with this Will fight.

The daughter should gets EVERYTHING but it will be a long court battle but the judge will come to that decision.

No big Deal.....

This is just to protect his $25 million, she her money can't touch the money. Has nothing to do with her mother being unfit just making sure his daughter and her money is looked after.

Didn't Meadow's mother raise her for most of her life without Paul? If she were an unfit parent, it seems Paul would have taken his daughter away from her a long time ago. To take her away from her mother now and put her with her grandparents would be stupid.

The Court will never take away a Parents Rights to give to a Grandparent. if the Daughter goes back with the mother which the court will most likely do, then The Trust will have to Pay Support until the Daughter is 18 or graduates high school.

Paul's mom can be guardian of Meadow's money. The mother, Rebecca, can still have custody. Courts allow this and often assign a CPA, Bank or Court Custodian to be in charge of the money if they feel it would be squandered by a parent. Paul's father is a very intelligent man. He's protecting Meadow's inheritance.

TMZ if you knew what you were talking about you'd know that Meadow was living with Paul at the time of his death. He talked about it several times in interviews Nd talked about how happy it made him to have here there. I'm assuming this was done so she wasn't pulled out of school away from her friends and the majority of her family to go live with her mom (who lives in Hawaii). Sounds like Paul had his daughters best interests at heart. Plus, we don't know if his ex is a fit parent. Which could also be a reason for this. Stop creating drama.

What's up with Amanda Knox? Why is TMZ not writing about her??

Paul was not married to Meadow's mother, so she is entitled to zero.

His mom will be the Guardian of the property the child's mother will remain the Guardian of the person. So she will live with mom but if she wants access to the money to buy a car or pay for private school tuition grandma is the one saying yeah or nay.

This is I think pretty normal especially in a divorce sit I situation...the guardian thing is like a guardian ad litem in court for a minor...purely to look out for childs best interests. Guardian of the money means the grandma makes decisions on how the money is doled out and does not have to give it all to the child at 18.
