Justin Bieber

Atlanta Move Could Land Him in PRISON

Justin Bieber'
s plan to move to Atlanta may be the worst decision he's made in years -- and that's really saying something -- because it could land him behind bars FOR YEARS.

TMZ broke the story ... Bieber now has his mind set on buying an estate in Atlanta and living there part time.

Here's the problem ... and it's a big one.  In Georgia, possession of a tiny bit of weed is a misdemeanor that can land you in jail for 1 year.  And, if it's more than an ounce, it becomes a FELONY and the maximum penalty is A DECADE BEHIND BARS.

By contrast ... in California 28.5 grams of pot or less is like a traffic ticket.  And more than 28.5 grams is just a misdemeanor with the max penalty of 6 months in county jail.

Also in California, you can avoid criminal prosecution altogether by simply getting a medical marijuana card.  There's no such thing in Georgia.

As for sizzurp ... in Georgia even a tiny bit of unprescribed codeine can land you in prison for 15 YEARS.

In California ... a little sizzurp is a felony, but the maximum punishment is 3 years.

Short story ... Justin may be making a colossal mistake.

I wouldn't be surprised if Justin thinks it might be cool and manly to go to prison for a few years for a drug rap. He probably thinks it might help get him some more "street cred" and look tough around his gangsta rap buddies.

Justin seems like he's gotten totally sucked into the "gangsta bitches/hoes super thug" lifestyle thing. Dude needs to get rid of Lil Twist and Lil Za or his music career is probably going down the toilet.

granted i'm here giving you clicks and page views, but i find it comical that since Bieber has been laying low and giving TMZ nothing new to write about, they publish articles like this. missing that JB click through traffic.

Good maybe the self absorbed little punk will contine to think that the laws don't apply to him and he can do whatever he wants on his property. Maybe we will be reasding very soon that he is being cjharged with a felony or two or three. Then maybe this little A$$hole will figure it out... probably not considering his entire posse has the collective intelligence of a high schooler..

In that case, JB should by all means move to ATL.

It's dumb that states even think they can pass drug laws. Marijuana is illegal in the US because it's against federal law. The DEA should bust The Bieb and Miley Cyrus. Two huge drug addicts. Send a message the feds don't care what states think on drugs. Break federal law and you'll get busted.
