Justin Bieber

DUI Plea Deal Offered

No Sizzurp, No Weed

2/22/2014 1:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0221-bieber-01
Justin Bieber has become the next contestant in a high-stakes game of Let's Make a Deal ... and door #1 is JAIL.  Door #2 is way better, but he has to be sober.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the Florida State Attorney has offered Justin a plea deal in his DUI/resisting arrest case ...  and we know the terms.

Prosecutors will DROP the DUI and resisting arrest charges, but in return Bieber must:

-- Plead no contest to reckless driving

-- Complete 40 hours of community service

-- Attend an alcohol ed course

-- Attend a "victim impact panel" (where relatives of DUI victims share their stories)

-- Install an ignition interlock device for 3 months

Now here's the rub.  Prosecutors also want Bieber to submit to random drug testing, and not just in Florida.  He'll have to submit his travel plans to the court and authorities will set up random testing wherever he happens to be ... at his expense.  And testing will last between 6 and 9 months.

Assuming he complies with all the terms and PASSES the drug tests, the reduced plea will formally be entered.

The question -- Will Bieber accept the deal or risk trial, where worst case scenario he could end up in the pokey.

Justice is all about how much of it you can buy.

I would really hate for him to sit through a victim impact statement because I can't imagine he wouldn't be smirking through it, either to himself or visibly. He'll fail, or at least I hope he fails. Why not just deport the little prick and let the Canada deal with him?

Kudos to the prosecutor here. They are actually trying to help the guy get clean and sober, instead of just treating it like another rerun of the mill case. He is in need off help, and this would be a way to help him get clean without the rehab stigma. If he is not to blame for all his woes, as he says, it would be easier for him to take the deal. If he is Ann addict, hell go to court and take his chances, unless his manager convinces him to take the deal. Sadly, with no tour coming up, he is not incentivized to do the right thing. We'll see this go to trial, I'm sure. wonder which is worse...judge or jury?

Previously on The Moron Zone TMZ "[Justin] made statements he had consumed some alcohol, been smoking marijuana and consumed some prescription medication."

Come on you little sh!t, show them how tough you are. Tell them to stick their deal up their a$$es. Go for the trial. You can loose and be in there with the other bad a$$ dudes and you will get lots of cred for your rapper image when they put you in jail.

I would bet the guards won't hear you scream when your bros rape you a$$ but think of the cred. and fun Go ahead bitc#, show us what you are made of.

I despise Bieber as much as the rest of you, and I'm glad to see that he finally got caught acting like a reckless punk. But I don't think - in this case - that being Bieber caught him any breaks - probably the opposite actually. Miami PD took a lot of pride in arresting him. State Senator Marco Rubio even publicly commented on it (how many other 20 year olds arrested for DUI get a press conference called about it the next day?). I think it was a shaky case with some inconsistencies in the police report and that the DA knows this plea deal is the best they're going to do. Bieber will begrudgingly take the plea deal, because he has to make it look like being tested for weed and codeine isn't a big deal to him.

Tmz censored the story of supervising art director of Interstellar (2014), Iron Man 1-2, Spider Man 3, Amazing Spider Man, Django Unchained guy who lost at trial . The cops covered up evidence because the victim was transgender from my understanding and they ignored the evidence so it was easy to trick TMZ that way. Look up the case award winning singer Bralalalala v. Klassen.

Holy moly

This will probably result in him not following through with everything and then the court postponing everything for years and years to come. Just like the Chris brown case. How long ago did he hit Rihanna and we're still hearing about his case and how he doesn't follow through with his sh**.

No, the worst case scenario is that Bieber goes to jail and is on the receiving end of a FORCED POKEY while he's in jail! However, I think that with the cop's credibility issues there will not be any plea deal like this accepted. Any defense attorney worth his salt will have a field day muddying the waters so badly that a jury will never convict the lil douche bag. The prosecutors obviously realize that they have a **** case, otherwise no such deal would have been offered, particularly in such an early stage in the prosecution.
