Ultimate Warrior

Wrestler's Widow Receiving

Special Help From WWE

4/12/2014 12:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0411-tmz-warrior
The WWE is helping Ultimate Warrior's wife cope with her husband's sudden death  ... flying two senior WWE officials to Arizona to stand by and help her.

We're told the WWE sent the employees almost immediately after Warrior died ... their main task is helping his wife Dana handle little things --  grocery shopping, letting other family members know what's going on -- so she can focus on being with their daughters.

It's sounds bizarre ... top officials leaving their jobs to handle mundane chores, but that's how important Warrior was to the WWE.

As we previously reported, Warrior died outside an Arizona hotel Tuesday ... after suffering what officials called a "catastrophic medical event."

During his recent WWE Hall of Fame induction, Warrior had high praise for his wife.

Went to Warrior's website and purchased Warrior fan items in support for him and family. Hopefully family will be compensated and he left them well off financially.

And they'll be some douche going on about how wrestling isn't real . Well this is about as real as life gets. Tell his grieving widow and his two daughters that what he did wasn't real. ( even though he hadn't done it since 1998)

I think this is the right thing for WWE to do. warrior had just signed a contract with them to serve in the capacity of an ambassador for the company. What of the old with that one suggested between he and the WWE were resolved before his death. I believe most likely he had a catastrophic heart attack and in the days prior to his death he could feel that something was seriously wrong and turned his speeches before the audiences into self eulogies.

Old school TV fan

May James Hellwig a.k.a. the Warrior rest in peace and all condolences to Dana Hellwig and her daughters. If it hasn't already happened, she'll get a phone call from her husband's former tag team partner, Steve Borden a.k.a. Sting, to express his condolences, as well. The legend of the Warrior will live, forever and it will live through both of James Hellwig's daughters. God speed, Warrior!!!

"but that's how important Warrior was to the WWE."

Or, more accurately, that is how important publicity is to Vince. If Warrior was that important to the WWE, they wouldn't have been burying him for the past 18 years, putting out DVDs meant SOLELY to profit off mocking him.
