Suffered Fatal Heart Attack

... Autopsy Shows

EXCLUSIVE

Ultimate Warrior Cause of DeathThe Ultimate Warrior died from a massive heart attack ... this according to the medical examiner who conducted the autopsy, TMZ has learned.

Officials tell TMZ ... the official cause of death for Warrior -- real name James Hellwig -- was determined to be "Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease" ... aka heart disease.

Officials classified Warrior's death as "natural" -- meaning neither drugs nor alcohol were directly involved.

As we previously reported, Warrior clutched his chest outside of an Arizona hotel on April 8 while walking with his wife. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but never regained consciousness.

Warrior was 54 years old.

His real name is Warrior. He had it legally changed.

Those that say it was from steroids aren't necessarily correct. My grandfather died of a massive heart attack at the age of 52 and never did steroids or any drugs in his life.

Total BS. He was a steroid head and it finally killed his heart. Wait for the toxicology report before you say what Vince McMahon wants it to be. He was a juiced. Nuff said.

To the TMZ staff: please get your facts straight. Warrior's name is Warrior: it was legally changed from James Hellwig some time ago. His name IS Warrior, NOT James Hellwig. You would be correct if you said Warrior, formerly known as James Hellwig. Thank you.

Any one paying ATTENTION to the fact that his FATHER & GRANDFATHER both died while in their 50s?

At a time he was popular here in *****ia than the Hulkster. He brought intensity and made wrestling interesting. Watching him during wrestlemania 30 hall of fame presentation, he was always holding his chest. So pathetic he was not even noticed by his employers or taking seriously by him. He may have made mistakes in the past but there is no joy seeing a fellow human die

Another wrestling legend passes. Hard living & lifting took its toll. I'll bet he wouldn't have changed a thing?
