Dominique Wilkins

Sterling Audio Proves Racism

Still Huge Problem in USA

4/26/2014 8:26 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0426-dominique-wilkins-tmz-getty-01Atlanta Hawks exec Dominique Wilkins -- former NBA great -- tells TMZ Sports ... he's not surprised by Donald Sterling's racist comments ... claiming racism is still a huge problem in the United States.

"As a VP for the Hawks it is appalling to wake up to this story," Wilkins says ... "It is in no way anything that I know MY NBA at ANY level to promote, condone or harbor behind closed doors or openly."

But Wilkins explains, "As a black man living in the South, this is not something that is a surprise. Racism is prevalent, still a problem and something that can NOT be taken lightly in ANY context!”

He continues, "As a former Clipper, I feel for the community of LA. It is a melting pot of culture and ALL races. For Clipper fans, staff and players, I do hope this is dealt with swiftly and justly. It is just totally disappointing."

Sterling sounds like a real perv to me. He use to bring women into the locker rooms to watch the players showering. Then he would say to the women "look at those beautiful black bodies". That is not what a normal straight guy would do. Is it possible that he is in the closet lusting after black male bodies but too afraid to come out? You must agree it is interesting.

Baylor said in the declaration. "During this same period, players Sam Cassell(notes), Elton Brand(notes) and Corey Maggette(notes) complained to me that DONALD STERLING would bring women into the locker room after games, while the players were showering, and make comments such as, 'Look at those beautiful black bodies.' I brought this to Sterling's attention, but he continued to bring women into the locker room." See Donnies no racist.

Your attempt to sensationalize Mr Wilkens' remark by claiming he is saying it is a "huge" problem is shameful. That puts his comments in a whole different light, considering he's made a fortune off of a racist society.

You have to realize that some never get rid of the racism mentality.

Yes, its still out there. However, the worst part is, that its on all sides. Many though dont view themselves as racist because they arent white. They believe its only such if it comes from someone white. They also dont see how racism can take many forms. Yes, its still rampant but until it stops from all directions, it will never end.

***"claiming racism is still a huge problem in the United States."***

He's right. Black racism IS a huge problem in the USA and getting worse. From the black racist "knock-out game" happening all across the U.S., to "flash mobs" of blacks assaulting whites on downtown streets, to white motorists being beaten almost to death when they stop in black neighborhoods.....racism is rampant and growing in the USA.

It's not surprising, though, when white liberal teachers brainwash blacks to believe that they are perpetual victims, and when the media elects professional racists and hate-mongers like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to be the "spokemen" for blacks.

Mr. Wilkins hits another 3-pointer!
Racism is a HUGE problem in "America":
African-Americans treatment of Latinos, Pacific Islanders,
Native Americans, Asians, and Jews, is
DEPLORABLE.

This type of racism is rare, not a "huge problem" like TMZ says. IMO

Some jerk zillionaire spouts off and it's time to blame the entire country? What a jerk both the owner and Wilkins for comparing him to everyone else. Aren't you sick of the constant latching on to any comment made by some idiot with more money thank brains to condem everyone?

Hey DW....It's not racism it's stepping out on your BF in public. You know what that is....you did that to your GF many of times. I know. It's obvious Donald's down with the swirl, just don't embarrass him. And you also know that Magic, being a friend of your and Donald's, isn't the most moral man..... Yea, you know. So lets stop throwing them stones or one might just ricochet and get ya back.

Racism seems to be rampant by all the races in the United States. Ask Mr. Steve Utash in Detroit if he recovers from the beating he received from a black mob.
