Donald Sterling Not Selling Clippers
A defiant Donald Sterling just said he would NOT sell the Los Angeles Clippers.

Sterling told Fox News' Jim Gray the team was NOT for sale. Gray said on Fox News he spoke with Sterling just before NBA Commish Adam Silver banned Sterling for life.

Silver said in his news conference ... if 3/4 of the NBA owners get on board they can force Sterling to sell the team.  If that happens it looks like Sterling may well go to legal war.

It sounds like it may come to that.

Sorry Mr. Sterling, but you belong to a private, financial organization, with which you have a contract. If you felt so strongly against the concept of a commissioner, the NBA constitution/ charter, or it's potential rules- why sign in agreement of it? Why become a part of a franchise? If this PRIVATE enterprise, chooses to dissociate you from their organization, because you have violated their fundamentals, damaged their brand/ organization, and essentially contributed to it's detriment- and they have the means to remove you to protect their brand- you're gone. It's corporate law at it's finest. I'd like all of the corporate, big-business supporting, "get the government out of my life" republicans to now scream bloody murder for the "big government courts" to step in and protect this poor little billionaire! Irony.

The fact that is was illegally recorded according to current laws, the tape recording should be inadmissible in a courtroom. He said some racist stuff, but is it right to crucify him especially given the hypocrisy of hollywood? Absolutely not. Hope he fights this tooth and nail and is successful.

I encourage all whites to protest by not attending NBA games or watching the playoffs.. Many blacks have come out saying they should for their own league. Well let them, considering 75 percent of the fans are white and majority owners are white as well. This whole thing is attacking your first amendment rights. I would like the first person to stand up that’s never made fun of a race, religion, sexual preference, etc… In no way did he use the N word nor did he discourage the hiring of African American players. So in all honesty who did he really harm? Only two players on that team are white and the coach is black. It’s kind of hypocritical when Chris Paul, Doc Rivers, and other free agents all signed with Clippers even though they claim that he’s been racist years and years ago… And now they speak out!? There’s a bigger agenda going on here and its not just a rich man making a few comments in his own home. How much money did media networks make off this story too.. Including TMZ?

By banning him for life and forcing him to sell, isn't the NBA has admitting it's a private cartel, and as such is liable under antitrust laws?
