Michelle Duggar

Transgender People Should Not Get Choice of Restrooms

8/19/2014 2:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michelle Duggar Anti TransgenderMichelle Duggar is convinced ... child predators are aiming to use the cover of being a transgender to hurt children ... and she's determined to stop them in their tracks.

The "19 Kids and Counting" star is on the warpath against a proposed Arkansas law that would allow transgender people to use either the men's or women's bathroom -- whichever they feel suits them best.

Duggar thinks convicted male child molesters will have a field day if the law passes ... simply dressing up like a woman and perving out in girls restrooms.

She doesn't want her 9 girls subjected to men leering at them in their private space -- so she's voiced a robocall to AR voters urging them to vote no ... and it's fascinating.

I wonder what the P.C. Thought Police will say when one of these freaks dressed like a woman rapes a women in an "inclusive" P.C. SH/T HOUSE?

This law not only has to do with Bathrooms but locker rooms as well. And it's based on what you "identify" with. A teen boy could identify himself as a female long enough to be with his girlfriend in the locker room. No one is watching. Or at the elementary school of a 5 yr.old is in the restroom what happens when a grown man "feels" he "belongs" in their? Just too much wiggle room.

She has a point. Men and women would stoop to this level with any kind of obsession like this. She's not out of line, and she's not calling transgender people the pedophiles, she's calling pedophiles pedophiles.

They could do that now if they really wanted to. Law or not. Don't let your kids go to the bathroom alone.

Seriously? This c u m bucket has it so twisted. Child molesters are usually FAMILY or close family friends, coaches, mentors etc. of the victim. she needs to worry about uncle Larry spending some "extra" time with her daughters not the he-she that passes them in the bathroom.

Ive accidentally walked into public bathroom stall that was not closed properly. I hate to think of that happening to a little girl and on the other side is someone with a penis, sorry. Not the strongest point but it just seems like we're getting rid of all order.

Just for the novelty of actual journalism, it might be fun to point out that this ordinance (it's happening in ONE town in Arkansas) is an anti-discrimination ordinance. It protects minorities (including gay people and transgendered people) from getting fired or evicted just because some people hate them. You know? Because that kind of stuff does happen. In Arkansas. And a lot of other places. But thanks for being ignorant and spreading it around, Michelle.

The only way to prevent your children from getting molested is by watching them and being a attentive parent. You don't let a little girl go to a public restroom alone! But she would because she's busy with all the other 18 kiddos!

I agree. If they have washrooms designated for both sexes that is one thing. We have that at UBC here. But it is clearly marked. I wouldn't want any perv in a dress being able to go into locker rooms and washrooms with me or my children. I'm not saying transgender's are pervs here either. I fully support their rights, but this just leaves it too open for anyone to go into a woman's washroom.

I mean, I guess I agree with the sentiment but let's not pretend like people don't use the restroom designated for the opposite sex (legitimately transgendered or not) every day. Who is going to enforce this law? No one? So why waste tax dollars putting it to a vote?
