Tony Stewart

Back On The Track

1st Race Since Deadly Incident

breaking news

Tony Stewart will get behind the wheel of his NASCAR ride again -- 3 weeks after his tragic on-track incident that killed fellow driver Kevin Ward Jr

Tony's team, Stewart-Haas Racing, just announced he will be driving his #14 car this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Stewart sat out the last 3 NASCAR Sprint Cup races.

Cops have said it could be several more weeks before they determine whether Stewart will face any criminal charges for Ward's death.

Stewart sat out races that were critical, since he's battling to make the Chase -- NASCAR's playoff season. Presumably, he's taken the time to mentally recover from the incident -- which he called a tragedy.

Since then NASCAR put a new rule in place that requires drivers to stay in their cars after an on-track collision -- barring any immediate danger -- until safety officials get to them.

Any man who jumps out of his car on a raceway with cars flying by and willingly walking fast towards another car when it is the driver he is angry with is just STUPID. This was a accident and definitely the man whom was hit , his fault.

It sure looked like Stewart gunned his engine and turned towards that idiot standing on the race track, it looks like both were mad, and Stewart was trying to scare him, but instead ran over him.

Tony "Manslaughter" Stewart could have avoided Ward if he tried, but he didn't want to be shown up on the track. Tony tried to scare him or spray him with mud and killed him.

Tony has not told the public his version of event. What are you hiding Tony? Murder perhaps???

Tony.. You will get a lot of bad press, even years down the road. I want to say I am Very Happy you are cleared of any fault in the accident I knew when I watched the race, you . Did Not hit the other Driver Intentionally.. People are always to judge you in a specific light. because Yof your previous Driving attitude. I know and Know you area better Driver than in years past. There is a Good calm sense, with peace with in you know when you drive. You would NEVER intentionally harm another Driver. You are not that kind of Man. NASCAR, Sprint and all the teams are Family . The drive should have Never gotten out of his car. I am sorry for his Death. Just know God is with you. Keep driving and know that a fan or not will stand with you. I always thought it was a rule .. That a driver never got out of his car, unless there was Fire.
