Offset Masks His Face at Birthday Party ... After Bum-Rushing Cardi

12/16/2018 2:28 PM PST

Offset kept the party going after crashing Cardi B's set with a second birthday bash for himself, where he covered up his face ... but not in shame or anything. Quite the opposite.

After ambushing Cardi's Rolling Loud set Saturday and begging for forgiveness -- which he didn't seem to receive in the moment -- the Migos MC rolled on over to the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in L.A. ... where he was decked out in all gold and a diamond-crusted face mask.

He seemed to be in good spirits too, underneath all the headgear -- showing nothing but smiles as he performed despite the awkward run-in he'd caused just hours earlier.

If Offset was trying to shake off any bad vibes, he certainly had enough pals around to help him forget. Eyewitnesses tell us tons of other rappers were there celebrating with him -- Kodak Black, Rae Sremmurd, Lil Yachty and 21 Savage just to name a few.

And if the homies weren't enough, his label even gifted him a brand new Rolls Royce as part of the festivities. Funny enough ... Cardi gave him something similar last year.

It's like they say ... lucky at cars, unlucky in love. Or, something like that ...

Disney Channel Actor Fired by Disney After Arrest For Allegedly Trying To Have Sex W/ Minor

12/16/2018 3:26 PM PST
Exclusive Details

12/16 -- Disney has fired Stoney Westmoreland two days after he was arrested for trying to entice a minor into sex. In a statement, Disney says ... "Given the nature of the charges and our responsibility for the welfare of employed minors, we have released him from his recurring role and he will not be returning to work on the series which wraps production on its third season next week."

Westmoreland starred in a recurring role as Henry "Ham" Mack on the Disney Channel series "Andi Mack," playing the lead star's grandfather. Season 3 is set to premiere in 2019.

Stoney Westmoreland, a 48-year-old Disney Channel actor, has been arrested in Utah for allegedly arranging online to have sex with someone he believed was 13.

According to online records, Westmoreland -- who played the grandfather on "Andi Mack" -- was arrested Friday for allegedly enticing a minor by internet or text, and dealing in materials harmful to a minor. Both are felonies.

A local report by KSL cites court docs stating the actor began communicating with an online user he believed was just 13, on an app used for dating and setting up sexual encounters.

Westmoreland reportedly asked the person to engage in acts with him and to send him nude photos. The report cites an affidavit claiming Westmoreland sent the person pornographic images.

The Salt Lake City Police Department and FBI Child Exploitation Task Force reportedly arrested Westmoreland Friday when he used a ride-sharing service to pick up the person he believed was 13.

Westmoreland has also appeared in episodes of popular TV shows like "Scandal," "Breaking Bad," "Better Call Saul" and "NCIS."

"Andi Mack" is filmed at Wasatch Junior High in Salt Lake City.

Dikembe Mutombo Child Flown in w/ Face Tumor Undergoes Surgery

12/16/2018 1:40 PM PST

The little boy who came over from the Congo -- with a major assist from retired NBA star Dikembe Mutombo -- is on the operating table right now, and by day's end, he could be tumor free.

TMZ has learned 8-year-old Matadi went into surgery Sunday at 11:30 AM PST at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. We're told the operation is expected to last around 6 hours. His family is at the hospital waiting on word from doctors.

The operation is being led by Dr. Ryan Osborne from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Dr. Osborne has volunteered his services, after being inspired by the good work of Mutumbo.

The family has been staying at the Ronald McDonald House since arriving in Los Angeles Wednesday. TMZ was there at Mutumbo greeted the little boy as he got off the plane from Africa.

As we reported, Mutumbo met the boy during a trip to the Congo and was so moved by his story he arranged to have him brought to the US for surgery.

This picture was taken shortly after Matadi arrived at Ronald McDonald. In case you didn't notice, Dikembe is on the right.

The large tumor on Matadi's face is not only life-threatening, it created a horrible set of circumstances. He has been shunned in his community, removed from school and has basically lived in his room. The surgery, hopefully, will be life-changing.

We will update you as we get additional information.

Chicago's Kenneka Jenkins Mother Sues Hotel for $50 Million ... Over a Year After Teen Found Dead in Freezer

12/16/2018 12:39 PM PST

The mother of Kenneka Jenkins -- who was found dead in a hotel freezer -- says the establishment is to blame for her daughter's 2017 death ... and now wants $50 million.

Teresa Martin has filed suit on behalf of her late daughter's estate against the Crowne Plaza Chicago-O'Hare Hotel for negligence, claiming there were several opportunities for the company and its staff to step in and help prevent Kenneka's death last September ... but failed to do so.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Teresa alleges that the hotel was made aware of Kenneka's disappearance from a room where a party was being thrown shortly after she wandered off, and says she was assured by Crowne Plaza personnel that they'd check surveillance footage in an attempt to locate her right away. She says they completely screwed that up.

Teresa says the hotel staff either didn't check the footage soon enough, or didn't properly review it ... because the 19-year-old could be seen clear as day stumbling into the kitchen in video later obtained and released by police who investigated her death.

She goes on to allege that Kenneka walked by several hotel staffers who didn't help her, and that the freezer Kenneka walked into was easily accessible to the public. She also claims the freezer had a faded sticker on it that failed to instruct people on how to unlock the door.

Kenneka's body was found in the freezer nearly 24 hours after she was reported missing. Her cause of death was hypothermia and it was ruled accidental. Tons of rumors swirled around the circumstances of her death, with some suspecting foul play.

Despite the police closing out their investigation without any arrests or charges, Kenneka's mother says the blame still lies with the hotel. She's asking for more than $50 mil in damages.

The Crowne Plaza released a statement to the Chicago Tribune: "The death of Kenneka Jenkins was a tragedy, but the proximate cause of her death were the unsavory individuals who used a stolen credit card to book a room and host an illegal party which Ms. Jenkins attended. Those criminals escaped the hotel before police arrived and have never truly been held accountable. This lawsuit has no merit and we will vigorously contest it."

Offset Addresses Crashing Cardi B's Set ... To Beg for Forgiveness

12/16/2018 6:53 AM PST

11:28 AM PST -- Offset just addressed the massive amount of backlash he's been getting for bum-rushing Cardi on stage, explaining why he felt the need to do this so publicly.

He says that since all of his wrongs have been made public, he feels it's only right to make his apologies just as transparent. It also sounds like he's annoyed by people ripping him online for what many considered to be a cringe-worthy move (at best), while Cardi was on the job.

Offset threw what seemed on the surface like a Hail Mary, by slinking on stage at the Rolling Loud Concert as headliner Cardi B performed her set, but something's off.

Cardi was a few songs into her performance Saturday night in L.A. at the Banc of California Stadium Grounds, when suddenly a sign made of roses was rolled out on stage that said, "Take Me Back Cardi." Offset then appeared out of nowhere.

He told Cardi, the crowd and the world ... "I just want to tell you I'm sorry, babe."

It looks like Cardi wasn't having any of it. But, here's the thing ... how would the venue allow Offset -- whom Cardi has kicked to the curb after the whole cheating thing -- to just appear on stage and hijack her performance?

After the show, Cardi B posted a warning on Instagram ... to be respectful of Offset during what was a difficult time for them. She said she's not getting back with her estranged hubby, but wants people to lay off him ... even referencing Pete Davidson to show how bullying can torment an individual.

It wasn't all frustration for Offset. After the show, his record label gifted him a super sweet Rolls Royce.

Keith Sweat Won't Proclaim He's the King of R&B ... Jacquees Weighs In Again

12/16/2018 10:42 AM PST

Jacquees was happy to re-crown himself as the reigning King of R&B -- even in front of rhythm and blues royalty like Keith Sweat ... who bit his tongue around the youngin'.

We got Keith backstage Saturday at the V-103 Winterfest concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, where we asked him to confirm definitively ... he is THE King of R&B, right? Keith?? Don't leave us hangin', man!!! Get this ... he denies any such title.

Luckily, Jacquees wasn't too far away and scurried on over to chime in on the debate (again) that's been raging for about a week now. He doubles down ... saying he's this generation's KoR&B, and got very specific with the age demographic.

While Keith didn't completely check Jacq on the claim as he, perhaps, could have -- Lord knows others did -- KS does remind him ... nobody gets the bag like me, kid.

HQ Trivia CEO Colin Kroll Dead at 35 Apparent Drug OD

12/16/2018 7:26 AM PST

Colin Kroll, the CEO and co-founder of HQ Trivia, has died of an apparent drug overdose ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Kroll's girlfriend called police early Sunday and asked them to check up on him after she was unable to get in touch. Cops went to downtown Manhattan to do a welfare check, entered his apartment and found Kroll's body in his bedroom with drug paraphernalia nearby.

A police source tells TMZ at this point cops believe the drugs involved were cocaine and heroin.

Kroll was named CEO of HQ Trivia in 2015. The year before, he was fired from Twitter after he was determined to be a "bad manager." Female employees claimed his behavior made them uncomfortable, however, no sexual harassment claims were ever filed.

HQ Trivia was having problems recently. It was steadily losing audience. In January, HQ was in the top 10 list of most downloaded iPhone games. It's now fluctuating between #250 and 500 in the U.S. Also, Kroll was dealing with an H.R. complaint by an HQ employee for his "aggressive management style."

Kroll was also the co-founder of Vine and was General Manager between 2013 and 2014. And, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Jetsetter. Prior to that, Kroll served as the Engineering Manager at Yahoo between 2007 to 2009.

Kroll was 35.

Ex-USC WR Joseph Lewis Released from Jail In Domestic Violence Case

12/16/2018 8:16 AM PST

Ex-USC wide receiver Joseph Lewis has been released from jail after serving nearly 6 months of his sentence in his domestic violence case ... TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported, 19-year-old Lewis was arrested back in July after his GF told police he had punched, scratched and strangled her during an argument.

Lewis pled no contest to 1 felony domestic violence charge -- and also admitted guilt in a previous domestic violence incident.

He was sentenced to a year in county jail -- but got out after roughly 6 months due to overcrowding and good behavior.

Now that Lewis is out, he's still not allowed to contact the victim who obtained a 10-year restraining order against him.

Lewis had just 4 catches as a freshman for the Trojans back in 2017 but was expected to be a big contributor this season before he was booted from the team.

The guy is a talented football player -- but now the big question ... will he get an opportunity with another program?

Pete Davidson Intros Miley on 'SNL' ... Something's Clearly Wrong

12/16/2018 7:11 AM PST
Exclusive Details

Pete Davidson was a man of few words on 'SNL' Saturday night ... literally.

Pete introduced Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson, and that was all she wrote. He never appeared before or after on the show.

Check out the vid ... Pete sounds down and troubled, which comes as no surprise ... after he posted a message earlier in the day sounding like he was seriously contemplating suicide. It was so serious, Ariana Grande came running to 30 Rock where Pete was rehearsing.

'SNL' production sources tell TMZ ... there's a reason Pete was hardly on the show ... he didn't show up for dress rehearsal, so he was cut out of some of the sketches.

We're told he stayed in his dressing room for most of the show, wearing pajamas. And, we're told, at one point during a commercial, Pete smiled and asked a cast member, "Can I just give you a hug?"  We're told the cast member obliged.

After the show, Pete and Machine Gun Kelly were in the same SUV, dropping MGK off at his hotel. MGK said earlier in the day, "im in the plane now on the way to see Pete. gonna make sure he's good, i promise. can't have my boy in the darkness like that."

Ariana was nowhere to be seen during the live show.

Tank Offset Needs to Tell the World He Wants Cardi Back

12/16/2018 7:45 AM PST

Offset needs to shout from the mountaintops he wants Cardi B back ... so says Tank, who offers a very interesting if not accurate view of human nature.

We got the rapper Saturday night in the ATL, at the State Farm Arena for the V-103 Winterfest when he threw down his game plan for Offset ... shout out to the world that you want your wife back. "Be Loud, be apologetic with everything you do until you get your wife back," he says.

Tank doesn't know if his plan will work, but that leads him into a super interesting view of human nature.  He's not buying the whole, give-him-a-second-chance thing, because Tank thinks humans are so flawed -- so imperfect -- that sometimes people should get 4th and 5th chances.

Sounds like Offset is heeding his advice.

Brandon Lee Thanksgiving Feels ... Led to Making Up with Dad

12/16/2018 1:00 AM PST

The reunion between Tommy and Brandon Lee came as quite a surprise considering their bitter beef, and now we know what sparked the heartfelt hug between father and son.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ ... Brandon reached out to Tommy over Thanksgiving to see if they could get together to hash things out. We're told despite all the nastiness between the 2, Brandon felt it was time to move on because at the end of the day ... he loves his dad and wants to have a relationship.

Fortunately, Tommy was open to it, so they began planning a time and place to meet up ... and made it happen Wednesday night.

As we reported ... the 2 had some fun in the studio together and hugged it out. Tommy shared their loving embrace on his Instagram, captioning the pic ... "I love you son."

It was the first time they'd seen each other since their violent encounter back in March when Brandon coldcocked Tommy in the middle of the night. The incident was followed by a battery investigation -- which was later rejected -- and a nasty war of words between the 2 on social media.

Seems like it's all water under the bridge now, though, and for more good news ... we're told Brandon's mom and Tommy's ex, Pam Anderson, fully supports them making up.

Vicente Fox Ex-Prez Skewers President Trump for Migrant Child's Death

12/16/2018 12:50 AM PST

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox is blasting President Trump for lacking love or compassion and insists POTUS is the reason why a 7-year-old migrant girl died at the hands of Border Patrol.

We got Vicente leaving Avra in Beverly Hills, where we asked him about the little girl from Guatemala who died of dehydration and exhaustion while in custody of Customs and Border Protection. The child -- part of a group of 163 people who were seeking asylum -- had not eaten or had any water for several days before suffering seizures and ultimately dying.

Fox straight-up lays blame at the feet of Trump ... saying the CBP certainly bears responsibility but adds, there's zero doubt its marching orders to show zero compassion come from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Goes without saying ... Fox wants 45 86'd, stat.

Kel Mitchell Hey, Cardi B & Chance the Rapper ... Get Your 'Good Burger' Cameos!!!

12/16/2018 12:40 AM PST

Kel Mitchell didn't skip a beat -- but he did skip over Kevin Hart -- when asked which current huge celebs he'd like to have cameos in the "Good Burger" reunion.

We got Kel outside A Simple Bar in L.A. and had to ask him about possible cameos if -- and we gotta believe WHEN -- the '90s comedy gets the green light. Remember ... Kel and Kenan Thompson are on board but execs at Nickelodeon have to iron things out.

In any event ... Kel ripped off a bunch of names including Chance the RapperCardi B and several others. As for the Kev diss? We're guessing Kel just didn't hear us when we suggested him.
