Sources connected with the TLC/Jon Gosselin legal war tell TMZ ... TLC lawyers are watching lots of TV these days, keeping tabs on Jon's appearances so they can run a tab on how much money he's raking in.
TLC is going to court next month ... asking a judge for an order prohibiting the never-met-a-camera-I-didn't-like-provided-you-pay-me dad from doing appearances without TLC's prior approval.
TLC filed legal papers in support of the injunction on October 27, claiming Jon is breaching his "Jon & Kate Plus 8" contract.
According to the contract, Jon is prohibited from doing "any media including any online or print...without the Company's or Producer's prior written consent."
Jon might get in the Guinness Book for the number of times he's violated that clause.
Wearing a top found on a Poison tour bus back in the '80s and a multicolored skirt reconstructed from a pair of old lady ruffled bloomers -- emo princess Kristen Stewart avoided her hairstylist and walked the red carpet at a "New Moon" event in London on Tuesday.
Someone needs to drive a wooden stake through the heart of this.
Shanna Moakler wants one last thing from her arch-enemy Carrie Prejean -- a viewing of the infamous solo sex tape.
Moakler, who campaigned publicly to get "biblically correct" Carrie booted as Miss California USA, was out in NYC yesterday where she said "I'm looking forward to seeing" Prejean's one woman show.
FYI, perverts, the tape has not been released.
Shanna also apologized for calling Khloe Kardashian a "donkey" -- but the apology definitely seemed half-assed.
The soon-to-be ex-wife of Los Angeles Dodgers head honcho Frank McCourt says she never hooked up with another man before their marriage fell apart -- but she does plan on stripping Frank one last time ... with a plan that would make her the sole owner of Frank's beloved baseball team.
In an interview with the L.A. Times, Jamie denied her husband's accusations that she was engaged in an "inappropriate relationship" with former Dodgers employee Jeff Fullerbefore things ended with Frank, saying, "I have never been with another man until the marriage broke up. Ever. Ever."
Jamie added, "I never even had a date until I was separated -- besides my husband."
Jamie also mentioned she had a plan to buy the Dodgers outright saying, "I don't need to be the controlling interest, I just love baseball that much and want to stay a part of it and lend my expertise any way I can."
It's unclear when and how Jamie plans on making her move.
Breaking up is hard to do -- but after taking a long, hard look at the D-Bag he's become, Jon Gosselin has finally decided to part ways with his hair gel, Michael Lohan and best of all, Ed Hardy.
Unfortunately it's all for a FunnyOrDie sketch, so we're guessing the rhinestoned tigers will be back.
Michael Jackson made a promise to "always support" his dad and if the estate reneges on that promise Joe will take it to court -- this, according to Joe's lawyer.
Attorney Brian Oxman tells TMZ Michael had repeatedly given Joe, Katherine, and other members of the family assurance that he would "always support" them ... even in the afterlife.
Oxman says Jackson -- in effect -- made a contract on which the family relied. He reiterated -- he's considering filing a creditor's claim if Joe is cut off financially.
The estate seems curiously supportive in giving Joe an allowance ... at least for the time being. But the clock is ticking on creditor's claims, so Joe may have to file one soon in order to preserve his right to go after the MJ estate.
The Bad Boys from Boston aren't splitting ways after all -- because last night both Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry denied the break-up hoopla they helped create.
Steven, who was rumored to have quit the band, put it best: "There's absolutely no validity to rumor that Aerosmith is breaking up, mutha f**ka!"
David Letterman was offered $2 million for the "screenplay" of accused extortionist Robert Halderman, and all the stuff about sexual impropriety is the reason the treatment went at a premium price -- this according to a new interview by Halderman's lawyer.
Attorney Gerald Shargel was on "The Early Show" this AM, saying he was giving Dave the right of first refusal for the proposal. Shargel says it's a business transaction -- the way Hollywood works.
Ronnie Wood is finally getting a divorce -- from a woman to whom he barely remembered he was still married!
For more than 15 months, the Rolling Stones member has been very publicly runnin' around with a very young, very hot Russian cocktail waitress (left) -- and it seems Ronnie's wife has finally had enough.
Wood's wife, 53-year-old Jo Wood (right), has reportedly filed divorce papers in London and according to British tabloid, The Sun, it's all over Ronnie's "adultery."
The Good Samaritan who found the script for "Twilight: New Moon" in a St. Louis dumpster -- and then returned it -- says the reward she got from the movie's production company is actually costing her big-time in the end. Casey Ray tells TMZ she's grateful Summit Entertainment coughed up two tickets to the film's L.A. premiere and after party on November 16 -- but the cost of traveling expenses is biting her in the behind.
Ray says the round-trip tickets for her and her niece cost $1,200 -- plus another bundle to pay for a hotel and whatever other expenses the duo happens to rack up.
We spoke to a rep for Summit who says Ray's complaint comes as a complete surprise. The rep said Ray had no problems with the reward package -- which also includes a walk down the red carpet and a signed copy of the script by the movie's lead actors -- when she agreed on it back in May ... and Summit hasn't heard a peep from Ray since.
