Shemar Moore My Hot Grammy Date Proves I'm Not Gay!

1/30/2018 8:07 AM PST

Shemar Moore's heard the rumors he's gay because he's frequently dateless for big events -- but says "Quantico" star Anabelle Acosta should take care of that.

We got Shemar with Anabelle Monday at LAX, on their way back from the Grammys. While they happily posed at the award show, Anabelle was a little camera shy with us. Shemar was dying to tell us about how he hooked up with her.

The "S.W.A.T." star handed out some major props to the people who helped him get in touch with Anabelle. So, did they make a love connection? Check out the video -- for what Shemar says and what they did together.

Sen. Ted Cruz Hollywood Hides from the Right ... It's Career Suicide

1/30/2018 12:30 AM PST

Sen. Ted Cruz says Hollywood folks literally duck and cover when it comes to expressing conservative beliefs ... because it would be an instant death sentence for their careers.

We got the Texas senator Monday at Reagan National Airport, and talked to him about the Grammys ... where singer Joy Villa showed up in a "pro-life" dress.

Cruz says he's shocked anytime people in showbiz are open about their conservative views. In fact, he says he's witnessed Hollywood types running for the hills, firsthand.

As we reported, Eric Trump's wife, Lara, was a total fan of Joy's dress -- but if you buy Cruz's account ... it could also crush the singer's job opportunities.

For what it's worth ... Suzanne Somers fully agrees with Cruz.

Joy Villa The Trumps Loved My 'Pro-Life' Dress ... For the 2018 Grammys

1/29/2018 12:25 PM PST

Donald Trump took a beating at the 2018 Grammy Awards -- but his family did find one silver lining on the show ... singer Joy Villa's pro-life dress!

Joy -- who turned heads Sunday in her red carpet attire -- tells TMZ she spoke with Eric Trump's wife, Lara, Monday, saying she thought Joy's hand-painted "Choose Life" dress was stunning ... and left her proud of Joy's conservatism.

This ain't Joy's first controversial outfit at the Grammys -- she showed up last year in a "Make America Great Again" gown in support of Trump, which also caused quite a stir.

As for this year's dress, Joy tells us she doesn't see it as "anti-abortion." She says she simply supports life, and wants to expand the #MeToo and Time's Up conversation to start including other women's rights issues like this. She once gave up a baby for adoption.

Aside from Joy, just about everyone else at the Grammys happily skewered the Prez, including Hillary Clinton's epic burn in a skit.

Justin Bieber Worried for Alessia Cara After Grammy Win

1/29/2018 6:50 AM PST

Justin Bieber never won a Grammy for best new artist ... and it sounds like he's glad he didn't.

We got the Biebs leaving Mr Chow Sunday night and asked him if he thought winning in that category is a curse. Alessia Cara beat out Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert, Julia Michaels and SZA for the statue. From the sound of it, Justin might be crossing his fingers for Alessia.

TMZ broke the story ... Justin didn't fly to NYC for the Grammys because he's working on a new album and doesn't want to make any big appearances until it's completed. That said, he's been a no-show in the past because he didn't think much of the awards. It seems like that's still the case because he didn't even watch Sunday night.

James Franco I'm Still Winning ... In the Girlfriend Dept.

1/29/2018 6:57 AM PST

James Franco has been on the outs in Hollywood after several women have accused him of sexual misconduct, but his girlfriend is clearly sticking by his side.

Franco and Isabel Pakzad hit up the Soho House Sunday in Malibu on a sunny day -- in fact, a blazing hot day.

Pakzad also accompanied him to the Screen Actors Guild Awards last week. Franco had been nominated for "The Disaster Artist," but didn't win. As you know, he didn't get nominated for an Oscar.

You win some, you lose some.

Kesha Powerful Grammys Performance ... After Janelle Monae's Time's Up Intro

1/28/2018 7:01 PM PST

Kesha just rocked the Grammys with an incredibly moving performance after Janelle Monae introduced her and shouted out the Time's Up movement, too.

The pop star took the stage Sunday in what was a highly anticipated performance and possibly the biggest moment of the night to belt out her song "Praying" -- which is rumored to be all about her long legal battle with her producer, Dr. Luke

In light of the current cultural climate, Kesha's song resonated perhaps even more so with the Grammys audience -- as seen in their standing O and emotional reactions.

Meanwhile, Janelle delivered the most explicit call for Time's Up through the night so far -- and she had a powerful message of her own.

Grammy Awards 2018 It Was All About Kendrick and Jay-Z ... Behind the Scenes

1/28/2018 6:37 PM PST

James Corden might've owned the spotlight on camera during the 2018 Grammy Awards ... but it was Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar who were the real stars behind the scenes.

Tons of A-listers were seen paired off with the two hip-hop mega stars -- including Lady Gaga, Lorde, Jerry Seinfeld, Rihanna and even Cardi B. Makes sense ... these dudes were up for a lot of the biggest awards of the night -- who wouldn't wanna be in their company?

They weren't the only ones muggin' for the camera, though. Other musicians seen backstage and down in the seats were Nick Jonas, Sting, Luis Fonsi, Tony Bennett, Jamie Foxx and tons more.

Take a peek for yourself to check out the Jay and K.Dot showcase.

Grammys 2018 HC & Pals Skewer Trump In 'Fire and Fury' Spoken Word Album Auditions

1/28/2018 7:20 PM PST

A lot of award shows lately have mostly avoided the topic of Donald Trump, but the Grammys just went all in on the Prez with a notable cherry on top ... Hillary Clinton.

Grammys host James Corden intro'd a skit Sunday to showcase fake auditions he held with a bunch of celebs to see who'd narrate Michael Wolff's book "Fire and Fury" for a potential nomination in next year's Best Spoken Word Album category ... and it's freaking hilarious.

Some of the stars who took a crack at reading excerpts from the book included John Legend, Cher, Snoop Dogg, Cardi B, DJ Khaled and, last but not least, Hillary.

Like we said, this thing is too damn funny for us to explain. Ya just gotta watch it.

Kendrick Lamar Kicks Off 2018 Grammys By 'Shooting' His Dancers

1/28/2018 5:20 PM PST

Kendrick Lamar started the 2018 Grammys with some violent imagery that included him fake shooting his dancers onstage.

K.Dot kicked off the award show Sunday night with a politically-charged performance -- during which he "shot" down his many dancers one by one ... sound effects and all.

It was a little shocking to say the least, and presenter Dave Chappelle expressed as much by asking ... "Is this on cable? On CBS?" He added ... "This brother's taking enormous chances."

Looks like we're in for quite a show.

Grammy Awards 2018 Stop and Smell the (White) Roses ... For #TimesUp

1/28/2018 1:27 PM PST

Musicians at the 2018 Grammys are trying to pull off their own symbol for the #TimesUp movement ... but they're not nearly as united as actors were for the Globes.

Celebs began arriving to Madison Square Garden Sunday ahead of the 60th annual Grammy Awards in NYC, where some stars have vowed to wear a white rose to honor Time's Up.

There've been a handful of heavy hitters rockin' the white appendage -- Lady Gaga , Kelly Clarkson, Ne-Yo, Eve, The Chainsmokers and Reba McEntire so far. Others expected to wear the flower include KeshaHalsey and Camila Cabello ... just to name a few.

Still, artists in the music world have been relatively quiet about Time's Up (aside from those mentioned above). Looks like they're keeping it that way for the time being.

Lorde Grammys Won't Let Me Go Solo ... So I'm Not Performing!!!

1/28/2018 1:00 AM PST

Lorde is now the second nominee out of 5 for Album of the Year who won't be performing at the 'Grammys' Sunday, and it's all because the offer she got from producers was a slap in the face ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Lorde tell us ... the singer decided not to play after a heated back and forth with the Grammys about her involvement in the show. We're told Lorde wanted to perform one of her songs from her nominated album, but she was only offered the option to sing as part of a Tom Petty tribute ... during the late rocker's tune, "American Girl."

The 2 sides couldn't come to an agreement ... so Lorde pulled the plug on performing altogether and we're told she won't be on the Red Carpet either.

It's interesting -- our sources say the other 4 nominees, all men, got offers to perform their own tracks solo, and while Jay-Z declined ... the other 3 nominees -- Bruno Mars, Childish Gambino and Kendrick Lamar -- are all slated to perform.

The "60th Annual Grammy Awards" air Sunday night.

Grammys 2018 Perfect For Traveling Musician And Their Dogs, Too!

1/28/2018 12:40 AM PST

None of the Grammy nominees will be going home empty-handed, because the Grammys gift bag is filled with thousands of dollars worth of swag that's perfect for the traveling musician or pop star, especially if they're an animal lover or just lonely and want to talk to someone dead on the phone.

They include a Wi-Fi pet feeder to a phone reading with a dead loved one, valued at $150 for a 45 minute session. The most expensive thing is SmileDirectClub's invisible teeth aligners, which cost $2,170.

Bag? More like duffel.

Porn Star Alana Evans Melania Probably Knows About Donald's Affairs

1/26/2018 12:10 PM PST

Alana Evans isn't shying away from the story about Donald Trump's alleged tryst with fellow porn star Stormy Daniels back in 2006 ... because she thinks it's par for the course for guys like him.

We got the porn Hall of Famer at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo Thursday night in Vegas, and asked her about Stormy's alleged romp with the Prez. Alana suggests we all know what went down, even though Stormy's not talking.

More interesting, though, is how Alana feels about the First Lady. She believes Melania should stick with Donald despite his alleged affairs, and says it could be part of their arrangement.

Oh, and if the Trumps ever want to party with her, Alana's down ... especially with Melania.
