"Big Brother" Champ
Sued for Embezzlement
8/3/2011 7:05 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
A partner in one of the biggest restaurant groups in Hollywood claims two of her fellow partners -- both reality stars -- stole the business blind ... but one of the guys is coming right back at her and alleging extortion.
Shereene Arazm claims former "Big Brother" winner Mike "Boogie" Malin (pictured left) and his business partner, VH1 reality star Lonnie Moore (pictured right) "illegally siphoned away [money]" from the Geisha House, LLC restaurant group for years in order to "support their lavish party-boy lifestyles."
In her suit, Arazm claims, "They gambled away hundreds of thousands of dollars that never belonged to them, they used some of the stolen monies to pay for sex, and they traveled the world at Arazm's and the restaurant group's expense."
Arazm also alleges in the docs, Malin used company resources "to have multiple sexual encounters with various older men during which Malin would live out fetish role play fantasies."
But before Arazm filed her lawsuit, Malin -- who now co-stars with Moore on the reality show "Famous Food" -- launched a preemptive strike Tuesday ... filing his own lawsuit claiming Arazm and her lawyer, legal pit bull Marty Singer, were trying to extort him.
Malin clams he received a draft of Arazm's complaint -- written by Singer -- a week ago. Malin claims he was told by Singer that he either had to pay up quickly or Arazm's explosive lawsuit would be filed and all the dirty laundry would be aired.
Malin claims Singer's threat constitutes civil extortion. Plus, Malin alleges Arazm and Singer had people hack into his emails and illegally tap his phone.
Both parties are seeking millions of dollars in damages.
Singer tells TMZ, "The lawsuit filed by Malin was simply a preemptive strike since Malin and his partners knew they were being sued for serious wrongful conduct. The claims in the suit are completely false and fabricated. We fully expect to get the suit promptly dismissed."
UPDATE: Moore released a statement saying, "I don't care how many celebs a lawyer represents, and how many times they are referred to as a 'pit bull.' That does not give them the right to make up lies, threaten blackmail and extort."
He adds, "I believe in our legal system and look forward to the truth exposing Mr. Singer and the others for what they are."
Malin says he feels the same way ... and says, "As far as Ms. Arazm's allegations that I am a washed up reality star, you can tune in tonight at 8 PM on VH1 and watch our show, 'Famous Food.'"

7/16/2011 4:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Former "Big Brother" champion Mike "Boogie" Malin claims he's getting the shaft in Vegas -- because one of the biggest casinos in town just MUSCLED his restaurant right out of business.
Boogie is one of the owners of the famous Dolce restaurant group -- which opened a pretty awesome steak place in the Hard Rock Hotel back in 2008 called Rare 120°.
According to a new lawsuit filed by Dolce in Nevada, Rare was a smash hit for years ... until new ownership took over the Hard Rock and tried to push it off the property.
The Dolce Group claims the Hard Rock was so ruthless, management sent a team to empty out all of the food in the kitchen on July 10 while the place was still in business .... "leaving only a few remaining items on the menu to offer guests."
Rare officially closed its doors the next day.
Now, Boogie -- who's now starring on the VH1 show "Famous Food" -- wants the Hard Rock to pay Dolce back for all the money they lost.
Calls to the Hard Rock have not been returned.
'Big Brother' Jeff -- Homophobic Shots At Dumbledore
7/13/2011 6:10 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
'Harry Potter' ignited a homophobic firestorm inside the "Big Brother' house ... after castmember Jeff Schroeder said he would never send his kid to a "fantasy camp" run by Dumbledore ... because he's gay.
It all went down inside the BB house last night -- during a live feed on the Internet -- when Jeff and Kalia began talking about the fact J.K. Rowling wrote Dumbledore as a gay character.
Jeff -- shocked by the revelation -- says, "He's in a school with little kids, you can't make that guy gay!"
He added, "It isn't right to have it in a little kids book, and have the head master locked away in this magical land, be gay. That isn't the right kind of writing to do."
Kalia responded, "Why? Gay men can't work with little kids!?" ... adding, "Just because he is gay, doesn't mean there is a thing wrong with him."
This isn't the first time Jeff has been involved in a homophobic situation on the show ... back in 2009, he used a gay slur to attack a fellow housemate.
UPDATE: CBS just released the following statement -- "Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a houseguest appearing on Big Brother, either on any live feed from the house or the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program."

12/19/2010 9:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
Nothing says "I'm sorry" like naming a celestial object after the girl you cyber-cheated on -- which is why bawl-my-eyes-out Brendon from "Big Brother" just threw down $109 to christen the star, "Rachel Reilly."
According to the International Star Registry, Brendon got the appropriate paperwork in order this week -- certifying the star's new name -- and even purchased a $70 bracelet with the star's coordinates to sweeten the deal.
It's not his first attempt at an apology -- as we previously reported, Brendon posted an "I'm sorry" video online recently ... after his ex-GF and "Big Bro" co-star Rachel allegedly found out he sent pics of his schlong to a girl he met online.
No worries though -- if the video didn't cut it, a paper star certificate and bracelet definitely will do the trick. Right?

"Big Brother 2" alum Krista Stegall just scored an extra year on her restraining order against ex "Survivor" contestant Kenward "Boo" Bernis -- but the best part ... she did it all without a lawyer.
According to the legal docs filed in Louisiana and obtained by TMZ -- Stegall successfully repped herself in court against Boo -- after she had accused him of beating her up in a bar last year.
Stegall even called Boo to the stand and grilled him on how he allegedly grabbed her arms and shoved her inside the women's bathroom at Bootlegger's bar in Lafayette, LA -- a bar Boo co-owns.
Bernis' lawyer tells TMZ, Boo "intends to comply with the Judge's order and have no further contact with Ms. Stegall moving forward." The protective order expires September 2011.
