It can no longer be said that not a week goes by without DMX being sent to jail.
A judge has decided not to send the oft-troubled rapper to jail after he pled guilty to felony attempted aggravated assault a few weeks back. X was accused of verbally threatening guards at Tent City back in February.
Instead, he got 18 months probation, fees and fines, and credit for time served.
Statistically speaking, X will end up back behind bars sometime in July -- at the latest.

You knew it was coming: 8 days after DMX was released from jail, he pled guilty to another crime -- and he's about to find out if he'll have to make another triumphant return to Arizona's Tent City Jail.
DMX -- who originally pled not guilty -- copped a plea and pled guilty to attempted aggravated assault (a felony) back on May 22 -- after an incident in which he verbally threatened guards at Tent City back in February.
The serial law breaker is due back in Maricopa County court for sentencing on Monday.

DMX was released from the Maricopa County Jail in Arizona this morning -- and, surprisingly enough, he hasn't been arrested for anything yet. Emphasis on "yet."
X was sprung from his home away from home at around 4 AM after serving 90 days in jail -- the minimum sentence for pleading guilty to the following: cruelty to animals, possession of narcotic drugs, theft and possession of marijuana.
Place your bets...

Jailed rapper DMX is about to get some more bad news -- he's just been ordered to pay nearly a quarter of a million bucks to a man he assaulted at JFK airport.
It all started 5 years ago, when Port Authority officers arrested X for posing as an FBI agent and using a fake police siren to pull Sergei Priporin and his family over at the airport.
X -- who claims he pulled them over for making him late for a flight -- was in possession of crack, Oxycodone, Diazepam and a billy club at the time.
The plaintiffs, who originally sued for $4 million each, are getting a total of $240,000 in damages.
X's lawyer, Richard Corde, told us: "Mr. Simmons still feels justified in pulling them over when they didn't get out of his way... he's not apologizing for that. He still believes the gentleman driving should have gotten out of his way. At the same time, he plead guilty to the charges and therefore paid for his behavior."

DMX and Earl Simmons want you to know he did not assault an Arizona corrections officer with a loaded food tray -- as he is being accused of doing.

X (sorry, we mean Earl Simmons) released a statement yesterday saying in part, "Many of you know me as DMX but right now I am speaking to you as Earl Simmons ... For the record, I want to state 'I Did Not' physically touch or hit an officer. This is just another attempt to destroy my credibility."
Sorry Earl, you did a pretty good job of destroying it on your own.
BTW -- if you haven't been following all of X's escapades in Tent City jail -- where Charles Barkley is also set to serve time -- X is accused of throwing a food tray at an officer after he was accused of stealing an extra meal.

DMX is officially on "lockdown status" in Arizona's Tent City Jail for one of the dumbest moves an inmate can make -- dude threatened to fight the guards.
After X failed to report for his medication, officials say the former platinum rapper began cussing at officers and threatened to "assault somebody to get some respect."
DMX was immediately thrown into lockdown and punished with a "special diet that is a form of bread and water."
It all started when he refused to report for work, telling officers, "I already have a job and don't need this (expletive)."
Sounds like he's finally reforming...

Ask anyone in jail how they got there, and they'll all tell you they're innocent -- DMX is no different.

In an interview with KSAZ in Phoenix, DMX was insistent that he "didn't get in any trouble" last year -- which means this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this arrest were all figments of our imagination.
X also let loose a ton of fun facts -- including how he's starting a TV show from jail, how he just completed his first gospel album and how much he misses his eight kids. That's still more arrests than he has babies, but who's counting?

For a mere $429,000 you too can own the legendary Phoenix home of notorious rap thug DMX.
This quaint fixer-upper comes with a sense of history -- as seen in the charred carpet and blown out windows and doors where SWAT teams left their mark after a raid in May.
Please contact the owner's parole officer for any additional questions or offers.

Sometimes it's easier to run all your errands in one place. For DMX, that place is court.

In Maricopa County court this morning, Earl "DMX" Simmons pled guilty four times in three different cases at the same time. Here's the breakdown:
-- In case one, he pled guilty to one count of cruelty to animals and one count of possession of narcotic drugs.
-- In case number two, he pled guilty to theft.
-- And in lucky case number three, he pled guilty to possession of marijuana.
As part of a plea agreement, all additional charges against him were dropped -- he will be sentenced on January 30.
UPDATE: The Maricopa County Attorney's Office says X is expected to receive a minimum 90 days in jail and will receive no credit for time served.
Also, if he violates his probation -- which states he's not allowed to own pets or firearms -- he could get more than 10 years behind bars.

DMX is back in his old cushy cell in Arizona today.
X was extradited last night from the Miami-Dade County Jail -- landing him back in the Maricopa County slammer after a ten-state journey.
The rapper became a wanted man after a bench warrant was issued for a missed court appearance. The FBI was tipped that he was hiding out in Miami, and he was apprehended on an island off Miami Beach.
DMX faces drug, identity theft and animal cruelty charges.

DMX is preparing to travel during the holiday season -- to another jail.
His home away from home is currently the Miami-Dade County Jail, but DMX's lawyer Bradford Cohen confirms the rapper is being extradited to Maricopa County Jail in Arizona at this very moment.
Earlier this month, FBI agents captured the rapper on an island off Miami Beach over a bench warrant issued for a missed court appearance.
DMX also faces drug, identity theft and animal cruelty charges in Arizona, however -- and now he's going to have to face the music in the desert, too.
BTW, we're told Arizona cops plan to put X in pink handcuffs as a belated B-day present.

There's nothing like getting a call from TMZ and learning the guy who's performing at your club in two days just got arrested.

We just talked to the Pulse Ultra Lounge in Boca Raton, Florida, and they had no idea the 500 tickets they sold for DMX's Thursday night concert aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
The club is gonna have to refund the $20-a-pop tickets -- unless X can find a way to perform live via-satellite from his jail cell.

How's this for ironic -- DMX was arrested at the house of a guy who also had a warrant for his arrest this year: strapped-for-cash record producer Scott Storch.
X was picked up at Scott's Palm Island mansion -- the one that was foreclosed on in July -- after a woman in Georgia tipped off the Maricopa County Sheriff's office to his whereabouts.
The woman made the call after hearing there was a $5,000 reward for any info that would lead to the rapper's capture.
Scott's warrant was issued earlier this year after he failed to show up for a child-support case.

Here's the least surprising statement you'll hear today -- DMX is back behind bars.
X was apprehended this afternoon by the FBI -- get this -- on an island off Miami Beach. The Feds were tipped off to his location -- a private residence on Palm Island -- by the Maricopa County Sheriff's office. He was arrested without incident.
The arrest comes after a bench warrant was issued for his arrest last Friday, because he missed a court appearance in Arizona.
He's currently locked up in the Miami-Dade County jail.
Wonder who's gettin' the $5,000?

That's right, folks, you can get cash money for any information that leads to the capture and arrest of DMX.
The $5,000 reward was just issued by the Maricopa County Sheriff's office, adding to the bench warrant that also has X's name on it.
This is all going down because the rapper missed a court appearance on Friday for drug, identity theft and animal cruelty charges.
