Robin Thicke, Paula Patton Loaning Stuff to Your Ex is Risky Business

7/24/2016 1:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0721-robin-thicke-paula-patton-TMZ-01Robin Thicke and Paula Patton both just learned a lesson about divorce ... don't loan and don't borrow your ex's car, because it can cost you dearly.

We're told Paula got pulled over a few days ago by the CHP for speeding and an unsafe lane change. Deputies quickly noticed the registration on the Range Rover had expired.

Now the problems. It's not Paula's Range Rover. It's Robin's. Apparently he loans it to her from time to time. We're told Robin's people just forgot to write the DMV check.

Now here's the lesson for everyone. From Paula's point of view, she's rolling the dice when she drive's someone else's car ... all sorts of things could go wrong, including a traffic stop because the owner didn't pay the piper.

What Robin did is even dicier. If Paula's erratic driving resulted in an accident, Robin would be on the hook if the victim decided to sue.

Short story ... Keep separate property separate, pay your bills, and obey the speed limit.

'Pokemon Go' Real Pokestops with Brews & Pikachus ... Coming Soon

7/24/2016 12:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0721_pokestop_restaurant_tmz_compositeThe "Pokemon Go" craze is so big, it's going to turn a line of themed restaurants into huge money makers ... or so one developer thinks now that he's filed docs to launch the idea.

James Kim -- a branding and marketing guru -- is trying to lock up trademark rights for eateries he plans to call "Pokestop." If you don't know ... Pokestops, in the game, are digital locations where players refill on supplies.

Kim plans to open cafes catering to the game ... which would allow users to fill up on Pokemon supplies (for the game), catch a few creatures and also fill up on real-life food, coffee, tea and possibly beers too.

He says they would have Pokemon lures to bring in creatures to each location, and even host Pokemon-themed events. Of course, he'll need to secure a licensing deal with Pokemon -- which hasn't happened. Yet.

Trademarks ... gotta catch 'em all.

In fact, Tammy says she's got some nasty scar tissue buildup that caused weird bumps on her bridge. So she reached out to "Botched" honchos hoping they could work some of their magic on her face.

There's more ... Tammy also says she's got belly issues after surgery for cervical cancer a few years ago and liposuction would he HUGE in helping her get her ideal bikini body back.

Fingers crossed.

0722-main-paul-wall-instagram-01Paul Wall's next trip to the jewelry store won't be for himself ... it'll be for his brand new English bulldog puppy.

Paul tells TMZ he jumped at the opportunity to adopt the 12-week-old pooch when his friend's dog had a litter. He says his kids, Noelle and William, had been pestering him for a dog, and he really wanted an English bulldog.

The rapper says the kids named the little guy, Champ. And who knew this was a thing ... but Paul says once the pup's teeth grow in, he's going to have him fitted for custom grillz.

Champ's already putting in work, modeling swag from Paul's companies.

Damn cute spokesman!

EXCLUSIVE

Frank Beddor, who was a producer on "There's Something About Mary" -- and wrote "Hatter Madigan: Ghost in the Hatbox" -- is selling his 4,000 sq. ft crib in L.A.'s chill Los Feliz neighborhood.

Our real estate sources say the 4 bed, 4 bath pad is listed for $6.5 million. It looks like a relaxing lake house from the outside, and inside features Brazilian walnut floors and tinted concrete counters. There's also a huge guesthouse.

We know Aileen Comora from The Agency is repping Frank -- but we still have no clue how the beans got above the frank.

EXCLUSIVE

0722_le'veon-bell_gettyAlthough he's facing a 4-game suspension from the NFL for a missed drug test, Le'Veon Bell has got some GOOD weed news in his life ... 'cause he recently completed his probation from his 2014 marijuana arrest.

The Pittsburgh Steelers star was charged with marijuana possession and DUI in August 2014 after police pulled him over and found weed in his car. During the arrest, Bell told cops he "didn't know you could get a DUI for being high" ... and admitted to smoking a couple hours before the incident.

Bell was sentenced to a 15-month probation program in February 2015 ... and was told to stay away from drugs and alcohol for the entire sentence. He also had to complete a safe driving class and pay fines.

According to official documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, the 24-year-old running back successfully completed probation ... and the case has officially been expunged from his record.

Congrats!

Christian McCaffrey Advice From SI Swimsuit Hottie ... Football > Modeling

7/24/2016 12:35 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

Listen up, Christian McCaffrey ... a (smoking hot) modeling vet has some advice for you ... STICK TO FOOTBALL ... saying there's waaaaay more money in catching passes than catwalks.

We got former SI Swimsuit model Genevieve Morton out in L.A. and asked her professional opinion of Christian's shirtless look ... the one that's been driving the ladies (and some fellas) crazy all week.

The thirst fest has been so rampant that it's made some people wonder if Christian has a future off the gridiron as the next big thing in the modeling world.

Check out the clip -- Genevieve thinks that's a BAD IDEA ... telling our guy that Christian could definitely model if he wanted to ... but he needs to keep his (hot) ass on the field if he wants to make big cash.

BTW ... Christian, if you're reading this she seems totally down ... might be worth a DM ... just sayin'.

Tom Cruise Suicide Bombing Threat to Scientology 'Allah Akbar, Tom'

7/23/2016 1:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0722-tom-cruise-scientology-getty-tmz-01Tom Cruise has been pulled into the middle of a police investigation surrounding a potential suicide bomber who made alarming threats to the Church of Scientology.

Cops say the man called the Church back in April asking, "Are there any bombings I can do?" The man, who ID'd himself as a Muslim, said he "liked to do suicide bombings."

According to police docs, the caller began singing, "Allah Akbar, Tom Cruise" ... the phrase some terrorists have used as they attack. He then hung up.

The LAPD is now on the hunt for the man ... with a search warrant forcing AT&T to ante up phone records.

'Friends' Creator Marta Kauffman Single Again ... And Loaded

7/23/2016 12:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0722-marta-kauffman-michael-skloff-GETTY-01The co-creator of "Friends" just struck a divorce settlement, and we've learned it involves a yearly residual check that would make your eyes pop out.

Marta Kauffman and Michael Skloff have just ended their 31-year marriage. According to legal docs filed with the court, and obtained by TMZ, they're both doing well but it looks like she gets more.

The big-ticket item ... Marta gets one "Friends" residual check a year, and our sources say it's a doozy ... many millions of dollars. According to the settlement agreement, she gets to keep 75%, and as soon as she gets the check she must write one to Michael for 25% ... pronto.

BTW ... Michael gets his own residual check ... he composed the show's theme song, and gets a big fat check he gets to keep all to himself.

There are multiple houses ... and she gets 3 out of the 4, including the super-expensive one on Broad Beach in Malibu.

Marta is a prolific producer, who also created "Grace and Frankie," which is currently on the air. She also gets residuals from "Joey," "Dream On" and "Veronica's Closet." And the money from all these shows is hers and hers alone.

You gotta have Friends.

Lou Holtz I'm NOT A Racist Regrets Immigration Joke

7/23/2016 12:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0722-main-lou-holtz-gettyLou Holtz says he regrets making a crack about foreigners at an event during the Republican National Convention ... telling TMZ Sports it was meant to be a joke, nothing more.

The controversy began when Holtz was talking about immigration and said -- "I don’t want to speak your language, I don’t want to celebrate your holidays, I sure as hell don’t want to cheer for your soccer team!”

We spoke with Coach Lou ... who tells us he's sorry for SOME of what he said.

"I like to joke. I wished I hadn’t said, ‘I don’t want to celebrate your holidays, and cheer for your soccer teams.’ It was said in jest. But I stand by the rest of what I said about coming to America to become us."

Holtz says he strongly believes that immigrants who come to the U.S. should learn English and adapt to American culture -- and for that, he will not apologize.

"All 4 of my grandparents were immigrants. They all came through Ellis Island. When they wouldn’t want me to know what they were saying, they’d speak Ukrainian. I’d ask them to teach me Ukrainian. They’d say, ‘No, you live in America. You speak English.'"

The coach is also adamant he's NOT a racist or a bigot -- "I challenge you, I defy you to find one person who I’ve ever been racist toward."

When asked if he was bothered by the criticism, he replied -- "It doesn’t bother me. I know who I am. It bothers my wife. She’s very upset."

Shaq Most Dominant DJ Ever Spins 1&2's At HUGE EDM Festival

7/23/2016 12:35 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

Steve Aoki, David Guetta, Afrojack and ... Shaq?

The Diesel might just be on that list of world-famous and successful DJs ... after having rocked the crowd at one of the biggest EDM festivals in the entire world.

Shaq took the stage early Friday at Tomorrowland ... a 3-day EDM bonanza in Belgium that attracts over 180,000 crazily dressed (probably unsober) partygoers a year.

We're told Shaq's set lasted about an hour ... and while his primary wheelhouse is hip-hop ... he mainly stayed true to the EDM format most of the crowd wanted to hallucinate to.

Check out the video ... it's clear the big man was totally into it, and we already know he takes his reputation as a DJ very seriously, so it's no wonder he killed it.

Careful with all that jumping, big fella .... we doubt those knees are playoff-ready at this point.

Stedman Bailey I'm NOT Done With Football Eyes NFL Return Next Season

7/23/2016 12:25 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0721-stedman-bailey-instagram-01Stedman Bailey -- the ex-Rams WR who was shot in the head twice last year -- says he's NOT giving up his NFL dreams .... just because he's taken a job as a college assistant coach.

25-year-old Bailey was waived by the Rams last month because he hasn't been medically cleared to play football yet -- and was hired as a student assistant coach at West Virginia University.

Many saw the move as a sign that Bailey was turning the page on his pro football career -- but his agent, Tony Fleming, tells TMZ Sports that just ain't the case.

"Stedman’s definitely not giving up on playing football. He just wasn’t cleared to play. He still wanted to be productive, so WVU was a good opportunity for him."

Fleming says doctors will reevaluate Bailey right after the 2016 season -- and he will continue training in the hopes he'll get an opportunity with a team for 2017.

'Ghostbusters' Theme School Teachers Ain't Afraid to Rock ... Score Record Deal

7/23/2016 12:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

The three elementary school teachers who reworked the "Ghostbusters" theme for the new movie are about to get some green dumped on them, but it's not slime.

No Small Children -- drummer Nicola Berlinsky, singer Joanie Pimentel and her sister/guitarist Lisa -- just scored a deal with RCA for their punk rock overhaul, which plays during the film credits.

It's an amazing story ... the 3 decided to start NSC 4 years ago during recess at their North Hollywood school. Last Halloween, they dressed up as Ghostbusters and played their version of the theme song during a club gig. They decided to record it and got it to the film's composer, Teddy Shapiro, whose kid happens to be a student at their 9 to 5.

NSC didn't think they had a shot after hearing big-name musicians were also up for the gig, but got the call ... GHOSTBUSTERS!

Check out the video ... the trio's going places, and hiring!!! But don't worry kids, they'll be back with a syllabus in the fall.
