Nothing like an Italian restaurant to clear the air. With all those rumors that there's trouble a brewin' in Avril Lavigne's marriage to her Sk8er Boi hubby, they made a pilgrimage to Madeo to show solidarity. You buyin' it?
So there's a rumor out there that Kim Kardashian may be back on "Dancing with the Stars" after Misty May tapped out with an Achilles tendon injury.
Here's what we know. Kim is flying back from New Orleans tomorrow. Our source in the know says she's coming home "to meet with ABC execs about her future with the show."
Here's the weird part: We're told KK's partner, Mark Ballas, has not been contacted about coming back.
After a family brawl left former WWE legend Ric Flair with a black eye and his daughter tased by police, wrestling blogs have been laying the Smackdown on TMZ.
Wrestling fans are buzzing that our stories put the kibosh on an endorsement The Nature Boy had with Coke. Whoa Nelly! Flair never had an endorsement with Coke -- at least that's what Flair's peeps say.
But think about Flair doing a concealer ad for Revlon. Now you're talkin ...
Miley Cyrus says she's not trying to get out of her "Hannah Montana" contract, notwithstanding our spies on the set -- who say she's been vocal about it. Our sources, as well as the Chicago Sun-Times, say Miley has been habitually late and has pissed off other cast members. And speaking of pissed off ... we got her at Universal Studios Hollywood -- Disney will love that.
If voting were up to the cast and crew of "DWTS" -- we're told Warren Sapp would be the first one to go.
Our spies at "DWTS" tell TMZ Sapp may have big personality when the cameras are rolling, but his big head and man-diva attitude are causing problems behind the scenes.
We're told Sapp talks down to everybody (especially the guy dancers and production assistants), yells at people and consistently walks out of rehearsals with partner Kym Johnson.
Super-producer Swizz Beatz is splitting with his wife -- but it's not Alicia Keys' fault. So he says.
We've seen Swizz and Alicia out all over the place getting real cozy, but Alicia insists to US Weekly she's not "in any way linked" to his decision to separate. Swizz claims estranged wife Mashonda is trying to smear Alicia.
The ex-couple also have some cash issues -- there's a lien out for $800K in back taxes.
More on Lynne Spears so-called "tell all" book about Britney. Lynne supposedly says a few days before Brit went completely mental, Sam Lutfi said, "If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave."
Here's the deal. That story has already been told and, by the way, it's true. Lutfi even told us what he meant was that no one cared about Britney and she'd be dead without him. And, for the record, we never bought Lufti's story.
As for the London Sun getting an advanced copy of Lynne Spears' book -- something's rotten in Denmark. The Sun has said the book claims Britney lost her virginity at 14 and started taking drugs at 15, etc. etc. We're told none of that appears in the book and it's more about Lynne being a heroic mom. For the record, we're not buying that either.
There is a war brewing behind the scenes at the Oprah Winfrey show, one that could force Oprah to break her allegiance with Barack Obama -- so Sarah Palin can get some face time. According to the DrudgeReport.com, members of Oprah's sharply-divided staff are putting serious pressure on the talk show queen to book the first woman on a Republican ticket -- but not everybody is on-board.
A Winfrey insider tells Drudge, "Oprah's website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama."
But after Sarah's star-making coming-out party, how can Oprah NOT book her? Decisions... decisions...
The Lakers couldn't win the title without injured center Andrew Bynum, so just the sight of him walking around last night in Hollywood is music to their ears.
While Bynum claimed to be 100%, watch the video closely -- was he grasping for his keys or checking on his bum knees?
A string of bad luck -- including two deaths -- has the staff at the "Dr. Phil" show wondering if their set is cursed.
Sources close to the production tell TMZ in the last few months two employees of the show have passed away and two others suffered medical emergencies. We're told one staffer recently died of cancer, while a young intern who had strep throat was dead by the end of the week. Our sources also tell us the wife of an editor recently suffered a family tragedy, while a producer suffered a concussion and a broken arm while on the Paramount Studios set of the daytime talk show.
Our sources say Phil and other execs have been trying to retool the show for the new upcoming season and that has some staffers feeling the bad luck may be a sign they should leave well enough alone. We're told Phil held a staff meeting this past Friday where he addressed the recent sad turn of events and attempted to boost the crew's morale.
A rep for the "Dr. Phil" show was not immediately reached.
By the end of this post, Ricardo Colclough may no longer be a member of the Carolina Panthers.
Colclough was arrested for DWI early this morning in Charlotte, NC -- only hours before his team was scheduled to make final roster cuts. Colclough was iffy to make the team to begin with, so we're guessing this won't help.
When called for comment, a Panthers team spokesman simply said, "We're aware of it."
By the looks of the ring on her left hand, Halle Berry's days as an unwed mother may be numbered. Halle showed off her accessorized limb after lunching in L.A. on Thursday.
After two failed marriages, Halle has publicly said she would not make another trip down the aisle. Then again she'd be crazy not to make an honest man out of her gorgeous baby daddy Gabriel Aubry.
We started getting tips about Brad Pitt and Angelina Joile -- that they never let the kids go out in public with nannies because they want the public to see them as hands-on parents, which means the kids would basically be held hostage in the house unless their parents take them out. Absolutely not true. We have really good spies in this department and here's what we know. As it was put to us, "Brad and Angelina don't give a f**k what the world thinks of how they're raising their kids." We're told their entire life revolves around the kids, and the houses they stay in are "dirty from the kids" -- with toys everywhere, food on the floor and fingerprints on the walls.
Notorious screen villain Jean Reno's demise has been greatly exaggerated.
Various outlets are saying Reno was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack in the Caribbean. Not true, says his rep.
She tells us, "Reports that actor Jean Reno is in the hospital due to a heart attack are false. He is vacationing in the Caribbean and went to a local hospital as a precaution for some discomfort he was feeling due to heartburn and gastroenteritis. It was definitely was [sic] not a heart attack. He is fine and healthy and enjoying the rest of his vacation traveling in the Caribbean."
