The Situation Burned Employee Claims Tanning Salon Is a Broke Joke

10/4/2014 12:10 AM PDT

The Situation's tanning salon is on the verge of shutting down for good -- according to an ex-employee who says her paychecks have been bouncing so hard ... she has to sue just to get some scratch.

The accuser says every check she got from the Boca Tanning Club during her 3 months of employment bounced ... according to court docs obtained by TMZ.

The woman tells us she reported Sitch to cops in Middletown, NJ every week ... and every week he would quickly cough up cash to cover the bad check. She says she quit in June, and of course ... the final paycheck also came up lame.

When she went to the bank ... she claims she was told the salon's account had been closed -- so she believes Sitch's days are numbered in the tanning biz.

She says she still hasn't gotten her final check, and cops told her filing a lawsuit was the only way she'd see a single bronzed cent.

The Situation Sorry, Judge, Can't Go To Court I Got A Reality TV Show!

10/2/2014 11:15 AM PDT
Turns out the judge likes reality TV … because he granted The Sitch's request and pushed the arraignment back to the 23rd.
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is asking a judge to put his federal tax fraud case on ice so he can tend to important business ... his new reality show.

The Situation's lawyers begged a judge in a letter -- obtained by TMZ  -- to postpone his arraignment because it conflicts with his shooting schedule for "Marriage Boot Camp."

The Sitch was scheduled to be arraigned October 6 in NJ  federal court ... but his lawyers say Sorrentino and his fiancee had already signed a contract to do the TV show in L.A. from Oct. 5th to Oct. 19th.

We've learned ... the production company got nervous ... fearing Sorrentino would bail in the wake of his indictment ... which would force them to either re-cast or delay production.

The judge has yet to rule.

The Situation Bounces Out Of Court ... Like A Bad Check

10/1/2014 3:00 PM PDT
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino scored a victory in court -- for a change -- getting his bouncy paycheck case dropped.

We broke the story ... workers at his NJ tanning salon went to cops in June claiming their paychecks bounced. Sitch blamed it on a clerical error, but one woman pressed charges anyway.

Situation's lawyer tells us ... as soon as Mike found out he made good on the woman's check -- which was less than $250 -- and she went on her way.

As a formality, he had to show up in court on Monday ... and the judge officially dropped the charge and dismissed the case.

If only federal tax fraud indictments went away that easily.

The Situation Taxes, Schmaxes ... I Gotta See Snooki's Baby!

9/26/2014 3:00 PM PDT

The Situation is so confident he'll beat the federal tax fraud rap he's facing ... he'd rather talk about more important things -- like Snooki popping out another kid.

Sitch was leaving a vitamin store in NJ Friday morning when a photog tried to grill him about the tax charges, but when he found out Snooki had delivered ... he was all about the baby.

Interesting that Situation didn't know already -- apparently he and his 'Jersey Shore' co-star don't stay in touch that much anymore.

His excuse for missing the news though was classic GTL.

Snooki My Baby Was Born ... ON CAMERA!

9/26/2014 10:58 AM PDT
If you wanted to see what Snooki giving birth looks like ... you're in luck, and also a little twisted.

Snooki popped out a baby girl named Giovanna Marie at 4:28 AM Friday morning -- and we're told it was filmed for "Snooki & Jwoww." Of course, the show airs on MTV ... not Nat Geo ... so we're told there won't be anything too graphic.

Sources close to Snooks tell us the reality star popped sooner than expected ... but she ended up having an incredibly easy delivery. No co-stars were on deck for the birthing, just family.

Don't go looking for any special meaning to the 6 pound, 7 oz bambina's name. Snooki's rep Stacey Wechsler tells us ... Snook has just always loved the sound of it.

The Situation Clueless on Tax Filings ... Mi Familia Screwed It Up

9/26/2014 12:40 AM PDT
Marc Sorrentino's attorney tells us Sitch's bro is laying blame on their accountant ... telling us the guy has disappeared and hinting he's talking to the feds. He also says the unnamed accountant's staff "knows every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie."

Sounds like it's rolling downhill.
The Situation
was kept in the dark on his finances ... letting his brother handle all the cash that was pouring in -- at least that's part of the defense Sitch will use in his tax fraud case.

Sources close to the ex "Jersey Shore" star tell us Marc Sorrentino took control of all of his bro's business dealings, including; negotiating deals, collecting cash, and filing paperwork ... including taxes.

We're told the Situation is definitely guilty of not paying close enough attention to where his money was was going ... and fully trusting Marc. One source close to Sitch tells us Mike never discussed money with his accountants ... and hasn't seen anyone from the accounting firm other than the day he became a client.

As we previously reported ... Mike and his brother were charged with tax fraud after allegedly cheating the IRS on over $8.9 million in income.

So, Sitch has a dilemma -- we're told he doesn't want to throw him to the IRS wolves ... but he's also not interested in going to prison for something he feels he didn't do.

Blood may be thicker than water,  but tanning lotion? Stay tuned ...

The Situation Stone Cold Sobriety Ordered by Court

9/24/2014 2:50 PM PDT
The Situation won't be celebrating his release from jail with a beer or a glass of wine -- a federal judge has ordered him to lay off booze and drugs as a condition of his release.

TMZ broke the story ... Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his brother were indicted for tax fraud Wednesday morning, and turned themselves in to federal authorities in NJ. Mike has since been released on $250,000 bond.

TMZ has learned he will also be subject to random drug testing, and is prohibited from drinking any alcohol ... pending his trial. Mike's attorney says the sobriety condition was put in place because Mike went to rehab back in 2012 for pain pills.

Sitch claims he's been clean since rehab, anyway ... so it shouldn't be an issue. He also has to surrender his passports and can't leave New York or New Jersey without permission.

The Situation Indicted For Tax Fraud

9/24/2014 9:35 AM PDT

11:48 A.M. PDT --
Mike and Marc Sorrentino just walked out of court ... both were released on $250K bond. Their lawyers say the brothers are not guilty. They'll be arraigned Oct. 6th.

The Situation
has just been charged with the crime of tax evasion in New Jersey ... TMZ has learned.

According to the indictment ... obtained by TMZ ...  the U.S. Attorney in NJ claims Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino did not pay his full tax bill on $8.9 million in earnings. In fact, prosecutors claim he intentionally filed fraudulent returns in order to make it appear he was square with the IRS.

The Situation's brother, Marc, was also charged with conspiracy to commit tax fraud.

Both the Situation and his brother are expected to surrender to federal authorities Wednesday. Sitch is facing a maximum sentence of TWELVE years in the federal pen.

He posted this on Instagram 30 minutes ago: "to be old and wise you must first be young and dumb."

Pauly D I Cut My Famous Hair

8/11/2014 10:27 AM PDT
Pauly D cut what made him famous from his life -- his hair.

It was his moniker for years -- so much so "Jersey Shore" did a blow-by-blow of his blow out.

We got hold of the pic and figured it was worth seeing ... and judging.

The Situation Cops Plea 12 Weeks Anger Management

7/28/2014 9:20 AM PDT

The Situation just accepted a plea deal for 12 weeks of anger management following his arrest for assaulting his brother last month ... TMZ has learned.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has been incentivized  ... if he completes the program to the judge's satisfaction ... the assault charge will be reduced to a petty crime - disorderly conduct.

The plea deal was unveiled this morning in court in Middletown, NJ. Sitch was with Frank ... the brother he punched in their tanning salon ... and told us he's not looking forward to anger management, but admits he could probably use it.

Sitch's attorney Edward Fradkin says the anger counseling will be done on a one-on-one basis.

JWoww Brings Home Baby And Breast Friend

7/16/2014 12:10 AM PDT

Two days after giving birth ... Jwoww arrived home from the hospital Tuesday carrying her precious cargo -- but she let her fiance carry the baby.

Jwoww held tight to her breast-feeding pillow ... while fiance Roger Mathews toted their newborn daughter, Meilani, in a baby carrier.

They were greeted by "Jersey Shore" co-star Snooki ... who's preggo with her 2nd bambino.

Nice balloons, Snook.

Jwoww Gives Birth My Baby's Name Is ...

7/13/2014 1:15 PM PDT
Breaking News
Jwoww's stubborn baby is now officially here ... one day after inducing labor, she gave birth Sunday to a baby whose name you'd probably hear at the shore ... but not the Jersey Shore.

Jwoww and fiance Roger Mathews named their daughter Meilani Alexandra Mathews ... the guidette weighed 7lbs, 13 ounces.

As we previously reported, some members of the reality star's family and friends flew out to Jersey for the occasion.

No word on whether any of her co-stars were on hand for the birth.

'Jersey Shore' Ronnie Jwoww's Labor Induced

7/13/2014 7:11 AM PDT

It's only a matter of time now before Jwoww pushes a miniature guidette out of her lady parts ... at least according to "Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Magro.

Ronnie was leaving Boa with a friend Saturday night when he not only confirmed Jwoww's labor has been induced ... but the reality star also gave us props for being the first to report the news.

Our camera guy tries to come up with a possible name for the new baby ... but things get awkward.
