KoRn

Ex Drummer Sues Band

You Shucked Me!

2/26/2015 5:34 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0226-david-silveria-korn-facebook-getty-02David Silveria took a temporary break from drumming for KoRn -- and when he tried to rejoin the metal band, they turned him away ... so now he's suing.

According to the docs ... Silveria says his leave in 2006 was merely a hiatus, and he never gave up his ownership interest in KoRn. So, even though he wasn't jamming with 'em, he was still sharing the profits.

Silveria says when he was ready for his triumphant return in 2013, the other KoRn members -- Jonathan Davis, James Shaffer, Brian Welch, and Reggie Arvizu -- told him to kick rocks.

Silveria feels especially slighted because he claims Welch had taken a leave of absence, and was welcomed back with open arms.

Now, he's asking a judge to force the band to reveal how much cash they've made since he left -- so he can get his cut -- and then he wants to dissolve the partnership.

Korn Guitarist

Hebrew Eyelid Tattoo

... On My Christian Face

10/4/2013 3:31 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
1004_brian_welch_eye_subKorn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch paid special tribute to the man upstairs -- BY TATTOOING A RELIGIOUS WORD IN HEBREW ON HIS FREAKING EYELID!!!

For you non-Jews (or you Jews that can't read Hebrew) the tattoo says, "Shekhinah" -- which essentially translates to mean God's presence on Earth.

... at least, that's what we think it means (sorry, it's Friday so our rabbis aren't picking up their phones).

Head -- who's a well known follower of the Christian faith -- posted the pic online today ... and apologized to his parents for getting such an extreme tattoo.

Amen.

Korn has been hard at work the past few months using their indoor hydroponics setup to grow a few pounds ... of CORN!!!

Turns out the guys got real health conscious while recording their new album "The Paradigm Shift" -- and bought a micro-indoor farm to grow corn and other vegetables inside of the studio so they wouldn't have to buy from a store (photo below).

"TPS" will be a historic album when it's released in October since it marks the return of co-founding guitar player Brian "Head" Welch ... who left the band in 2005 for religious reasons.

Thankfully Limp Bizkit hasn't lived up to their name yet.
