You're looking at screen grabs of surveillance video, showing the alleged attempted break-in at Lindsay Lohan's house.
The two suspects were driving a Dodge Magnum station wagon with paper plates and custom wheels. The driver stayed in the vehicle. The passenger tried to gain entry with a tool, prying the back door and window open. They were unsuccessful and left without entering. We're told the alarm scared them off.

The whole break-in thing at Lindsay Lohan's house was real -- because there's surveillance video of some dude jimmying the back door.
There have been reports it was all a mistake, but that's not the case. Someone did actually try to get in -- but ran off when the alarm sounded.
Sources say there's also an accomplice involved -- we're told the dude who tried to break in had a getaway driver.
Cops are investigating.

Some bad guys broke into Lindsay Lohan's home Tuesday afternoon and messed it up good ... or so it seemed.
Law enforcement sources tell us at around 3 PM PT Tuesday, the alarm company that services the house notified cops that the alarm had been tripped. When police arrived, there was evidence of a break-in. There were pry marks on the back door and tampering with the back window. It appears nothing was taken but the house was ransacked, at least that's what responding officers thought.
Now one law enforcement source tells us ... it doesn't look like the house was ransacked after all ... "It was just messy." !!!!!
Lindsay was not at the house during the break-in. The LAPD is conducting an investigation.

She isn't boiling bunnies just yet, but Lindsay Lohan is starting to get a little shady with her are-they-or-aren't-they relationship with Samantha Ronson.
Last night, Linds rolled up to the restaurant where Samantha had just eaten without her -- and started adamantly asking the paps who Sam was with inside. Lindsay even looked upset when they told her Sam was with "a girl."
After all this though, she went back to Sam's place -- where, we're told, she spent the night.

Turns out the kiss was just an illusion ... and the only mouth that was runnin' that night was from the nightclub's publicist -- who sent out a press release claiming rehabbed Lindsay was puttin' down some vodka.

Lindsay Lohan needs to choose her friends ... and her clubs more carefully, cause she just got thrown under the rehab bus.
Lindsay spent what she thought would be a private evening this weekend at Prive nightclub at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Vegas --until the club fired off a gratuitous press release, allegedly exposing her relapse.
In the release, the club buried this item -- "Mel [B] was drinking Merlot and Lindsay asked for a Vodka drink mixed with soda water and a splash of cranberry."
It squarely contradicts Lindsay's outburst last week, when she said "I don't drink...a**hole."
With friends -- and clubs -- like this ...
