Cops executed two search warrants yesterday in connection to the Jesse James vandalism/stalking cases ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.
We're told the Long Beach Police Department was looking for evidence connected to a March 25 incident in which Jesse claimed he was being stalked by a paparazzo ... and the paparazzo claimed Jesse vandalized his car.
Sources say investigators rolled through two homes where the pap had been staying and seized several items including videotapes and photographs -- which presumably show the confrontation.
Both Jesse and the pap made citizen's arrests. No charges have been filed.
Andrew and Owen Wilson are collaborating on a new project together -- they're co-defendants in an assault case.
A paparazzo is suing the pair over an alleged fight that went down in Santa Monica on December 5, 2008. The photog, Clint Brewer, claims he "sustained severe bodily injuries, a portion of which are permanent."
According to a lawsuit filed last week, Brewer says he "was walking up the stairs and was pushed in the back by" Owen Wilson. Brewer claims he has suffered medical expenses in the amount of $3,251.10 and general damages in the amount of $500,000.
Eddie Griffin unleashed a nasty, hilarious and expletive packed barrage of insults on an unsuspecting photog last night -- all because the guy wanted to know when the world can expect another "Undercover Brother."
Wesley Snipes went in to full on hostage negotiation mode in Hollywood last night holding a TMZ photog for a hefty ransom, a pack of Newports and a Milky Way bar.
It all went down around 3 AM when Snipes was leaving Ecco nightclub with his friends. Just watch the video, it's pretty damn hilarious.
And for the record -- TMZ does not negotiate with kidnappers.
Two paparazzi who were thrown out of "The Bachelor" wedding last month are suing the people behind it claiming battery, false imprisonment and negligence.
Eric Brogmus and Maximiliano Lopes claim Disney/ABC Television Group, Next Entertainment -- "The Bachelor" production company -- as well as the security company "breached their duty of reasonable conduct by attacking and detaining or authorizing the attack and detention" of both plaintiffs.
The two photogs were shooting the wedding of Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney when they were told by security to leave -- and then things got ugly.
Travis Barker was challenged to a fight by a photog just one hour before yesterday's nuclear showdown -- and TMZ has now obtained video of the confrontation that ignited the whole thing.
The video shows an antagonizing cameraman (not TMZ) seriously getting into it with Travis, inciting him by saying, "Whatcha gonna do?" as Barker walked with his children into Marmalade Cafe at the Commons.
Travis is seen swinging at the camera and yelling "I'll kick the s**t outta you bro ... if I didn't have my little girl in my hands ... give me an hour and I'll meet you." The photog said he'd be waiting.
As we previously reported, neither of the guys Travis and Co. fought with on the way out are the photog in this video.
The photographer Sean Penn kicked back in October needed surgery on his knee, his lawyer tells TMZ.
Penn was charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor vandalism after he kicked a photog (see video above) and allegedly broke his camera (that part wasn't caught on video) during a fracas back in October.
The photog's lawyer tells TMZ the lensman needed knee surgery as a result of the incident. The lawyer said he wanted to avoid pressing charges against Penn, but was "stonewalled" by his attorneys.
If convicted on both counts, Penn could go to jail for 1 1/2 years.
Travis Barker got into a heated argument with paparazzi outside a restaurant in Calabasas and cops took a report ... sources tell TMZ.
We're told it happened as Travis and some of his friends were on their way out of the restaurant. The agency involved claims their guys did nothing to provoke the incident -- and that Barker had a run-in with two other photogs on the way in.
Cops were able to confirm they were called to the location, but wouldn't confirm Barker was involved. There were no arrests made, but a vandalism report was taken.
We've tried to reach out to Travis, so far no luck.
Sean Penn was charged with criminal battery and vandalism today, in connection with a run-in with the paparazzi ... TMZ has learned.
The incident occurred last October in Brentwood, CA. TMZ captured the confrontation as an angry Penn approached and kicked a paparazzo, allegedly breaking his camera.
We've learned the Los Angeles City Attorney filed two misdemeanor counts -- battery and vandalism.
If convicted on both counts, Penn could go to jail for 1 1/2 years.
Penn's rep could not immediately be reached for comment.
