The "Pawn Star" patriarch known as The Old Man was unwittingly lured into helping a violent motorcycle gang beat serious criminal charges ... so claims The Old Man's son.
The Old Man recently hosted a Valentine's Day party for the infamous Vagos biker gang at his Vegas home. The gang wanted The Old Man to host because of his fame, banking on the fact that lots of people would attend and plunk money down to win various raffles.
Now here's the alleged scam. Sources say the proceeds from the raffle went right into a slush fund used to pay for lawyers for members of the gang that commit crimes. And the Vagos crew gets into LOTS of trouble.
A 4-year federal investigation resulted in the arrests of 32 gang members -- mostly Vagos -- for crimes ranging from gun and drug trafficking to robbery.
Rick Harrison, "Pawn Stars" star and also son of The Old Man, tells TMZ the gang took advantage of his 72-year-old dad who had no idea he was fronting a party for nefarious purposes.
Rick also knows exactly how is father got bamboozled. Rick's brother, Joseph, is a long-time member of Vagos with a big-time rap sheet.
Rick Harrison Gets Married
Hey Chumlee, Where's the Ring?!
7/22/2013 9:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
It was a "Pawn Stars" wedding in California this weekend ... as Chumlee, Big Hoss, the Old Man and more gathered at the Ritz in Laguna Niguel to watch Rick Harrison tie the knot to DeAnna Burditt.
It all went down without a hitch -- Chum was the ringbearer, Hoss stood right by his father's side, and Rick's favorite car restorer Danny Koker performed the ceremony ... sans sleeves, of course.
It's marriage #3 for both 47-year-old Harrison and 36-year-old Burditt.

Joanne was sporting soe fun Mickey Mouse balloons ... hope she didn't pay full price for those.
Chumlee to Girlfriend
Here's Some New Boobs
3/28/2013 12:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
"Pawn Stars" pays BANK ... just ask Chumlee ... who dropped thousands of dollars on an expensive new pair of boobs for his girlfriend, TMZ has learned.
Sources close to Chum tell us, the perky new breasts were a recent birthday gift for his gf Tanya -- but that wasn't all he got her.
We're told Chumlee also rented out a penthouse suite for him and his lady at the D Casino hotel last weekend, paid for several lavish dinners at the hotel's Andiamo steakhouse -- including one attended by Tanya's 11 girlfriends -- and even arranged fancy limo rides through Vegas for her and her family.
And get this ... after dinner Saturday night, Chum hit up the high-limit blackjack table ... where the minimum was $500 per hand.
Chumlee tells us, "I wanted it to be the best birthday ever for her and was happy to be a part of a great party, celebration, and special gifts."
Hehe ... special gifts.
'Pawn Stars' Ex-Agent
New Agent Stole My Clients
So Pay Me!
12/11/2012 6:40 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF
The guys from "Pawn Stars" struck it rich with their hit show -- and then turned their backs on the agents who brokered their initial contracts ... that according to a new lawsuit filed by the jilted talent agency.
The suit, filed by Venture IAB in L.A. County Superior Court ... claims all 3 Harrisons and Chumlee inked deals in 2007 and 2009 for the agency to represent them -- before "Pawn Stars" started airing on The History Channel.
According to the suit, in January 2010 -- 6 months after the show hit the air -- another agent and 2 'Pawn' execs ... convinced the cast to terminate their deal with Venture IAB.
In the suit, Venture claims the execs -- Mary Donahue and Nancy Dubuc -- "intended to disrupt" the agency's deal with the guys so their "friend and agent" could sign them.
Venture IAB is suing The History Channel, the agent and the execs for more than $5 million in damages.
As we previously reported, a very similar suit was filed by an ex-manager -- but that one named the Harrisons and Chumlee as defendants.
FINED by Cops ... Get
Your Trash Off Our Sand!
12/10/2012 2:10 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
Dear "Pawn Stars" stars ... next time you're gonna TRASH your campground, make sure there are no cops around ... because in the State of CA it's a misdemeanor crime!!!
Rick and Corey Harrison -- a.k.a. the pawn shop boss and his son -- went camping in Glamis, CA over Thanksgiving weekend with some friends ... problem is, we're told they left the place a mess.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops discovered A TON of trash where the History Channel stars camped out ... specifically beer cans, garbage and a bbq grill ... enough to fill up 10 TRASH BAGS.
FYI ... We're told cops KNEW the reality TV stars were the ones camping in the trash spot -- and causing the mess -- due to a previous encounter that weekend.
Dumping trash in the campgrounds is illegal and NOT taken lightly ... in fact, we're told law enforcement slapped the guys with a huge fine ... to the tune of $1,000 a person ... and that's NOT negotiable.
Corey Harrison tells TMZ, "We left the campground before our buddies did and they were to clean it up and apparently didn't follow through. My father nor I were cited."
'Pawn Stars' Sued --
I Made You Guys Famous ...
and You SCREWED Me
10/4/2012 2:55 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Rick, Corey, the Old Man and Chumlee ... are all getting their asses sued by their ex-manager, who claims he discovered the "Pawn Stars" and made them famous ... only to get stabbed in the back.
The man behind the lawsuit is Wayne Jefferies -- who claims he found the guys from Gold & Silver Pawn back in 2007 and got them a reality TV show deal with A&E and the History Channel ... after Rick had struck out in the past.
Jefferies claims things were going great for years -- with the show killing it in the ratings and the guys all cutting various endorsement deals ... including credit cards, slot machines, books and even an energy drink.
But according to the suit, things fell apart earlier this year .. when network honchos became upset over a story Jefferies claims he leaked to TMZ. The story detailed how the "Pawn Stars" cast was blindsided when they learned A&E had commissioned a "Cajun Pawn Stars" spinoff.
In his suit, filed by powerhouse attorney Richard A. Schonfeld, Jefferies claims network execs pressured the "Pawn Stars" cast to cut ties with Jefferies ... which they did.
Jefferies is now suing the "Pawn Stars" guys for breach of contract ... and he's also suing A&E, the History Channel and various execs for interfering with his management deals.
Jefferies is asking for unspecified damages. Calls to the Pawn Stars and the networks have not been returned.
'Pawn Stars' Chumlee
on Hollywood Blvd.
7/12/2012 6:30 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Chumlee from "Pawn Stars" was involved in a crazy -- and bloody -- fight right in the middle of Hollywood Blvd. this weekend ... but the reality star tells TMZ it was all in self-defense.
A video has surfaced showing Chum and his pals hanging out in front of Chum's Rolls Royce ... when they are approached by an unknown man.
Chum tells us ... the guy was harassing the group and demanding a ride in the Rolls. When Chum's group refused, Chum says the man threatened to pull a gun.
Chum says the man then reached for something in his pocket ... so his boys took action, socking the guy in the face HARD ... dropping the man to the pavement.
Once the guy hit the floor, Chum and his crew scrambled to get back in the car and quickly fled the scene ... while the man tried to pick himself up, blood pouring out of his face.
Chum tells TMZ, "Instinct just took over. [The man] didn’t even know I was on TV or anything … just wanted to ride in our car and start problems.”
So far, no word on the identity of the victim or his current condition.

"Pawn Stars" has been very VERY good to Chumlee ... 'cause the reality star hit the Hollywood club scene last night in a pimped out Rolls Royce ... complete with a VIDEO GAME system in the back.
A perspiring Chum was on his way out of MyStudio with some friends ... when he crawled into the back of the super-expensive ride ... grabbed a Playstation controller ... and gave us the play-by-play.
"We got FIFA going" ... Chum said ...adding, "It is what it is ... we play Playstation in the Rolls Royce!!!"
Somewhere ... the Old Man is shaking his head ...
'Pawn Stars' Cast
FURIOUS Over 'Cajun' Spin-off
1/11/2012 1:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
The debut of the new "Cajun Pawn Stars" was a huge hit with the History Channel ... but TMZ has learned the guys at the original "Pawn Stars" show are PISSED because they had no idea it was being made.
Sources close to Left Field Pictures -- the production company behind "Pawn Stars" -- tell us the Vegas crew feels "blindsided" ... because they only learned about the show a few weeks ago ... when the network made the official announcement.
We're told Chumlee, Rick, Corey and the Old Man insist they were promised by the network that no "Pawn Stars" spin-off shows would be made of any kind ... and now feel like they were betrayed.
Sources say the guys are "really hurt" by the whole thing and feel like the new show is a "total knock-off" -- but their beef is with the network ... and NOT with the cast of the new show.
Pretty shocking behavior by the network -- considering "Pawn Stars" is the number one show on History and one of the highest rated shows on cable.
No official comment from the "Pawn Stars." Ditto for the History Channel.
'Pawn Stars' Corey Harrison
Bloody Motorcycle Wreck
11/9/2011 4:45 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
"Pawn Stars" bad ass Corey Harrison suffered a bloody case of road rash ... when he wiped on his Harley during a ride from Vegas to San Diego this weekend ... TMZ has learned.
Sources tell us ... Harrison and a friend were halfway through the 10-hour cruise ... when they got caught in some intense rain around Joshua Tree ... and Corey lost control of his bike.
We're told the bike slid out from under the reality star and skidded off the road. Harrison scraped his arm up in the wreck, but suffered no major injuries.
The bike wasn't so lucky ... suffering damage to the handlebars, windshield and scrapes ALL OVER.
We're told repairs are expected to run Corey about $3k. Good thing he can afford it.

Chaz Bono has proven to be an inspiration to the guys over at "Pawn Stars" ... at least when it comes to a Halloween costume.
TMZ has learned ... Chum Lee will transform into Chaz for one of his Halloween parties this year ... chin strap and all ... and he's totally fired up about it.
Don't worry -- we're already working on getting the pictures.
History Channel Super-Car
The Charred Remains
10/8/2011 12:20 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
It was destroyed in a blazing inferno last week -- and now TMZ has obtained pictures of its smoldering remains ... the History Channel's famous cherry '57 Chevy.
TMZ broke the story ... the car -- which became the centerpiece in a massive three-show special involving "American Pickers," "American Restoration," and "Pawn Stars" -- burst into flames last Friday.
But thankfully, these guys are pros -- and as we previously reported, they had the car completely repaired in a few hours.
