Sam Lutfi was by
Britney Spears' side during her crazy heyday (coincidence?) but insists Britney was just "expressing her independence and her freedom" when she did things like shave her head.

Lutfi described the incident as "cool" but admits he "doesn't know what she was thinking at the time." In his defense, neither did anyone else.
Reminder: The conservatorship for Britney Spears was granted
a three-year restraining order against Lutfi on her behalf back in April 2009. So consider the source.

Since security guards and giant fences haven't done the trick,
Britney Spears has gotten a temporary restraining order against the woman who was popped peeping around her home.
Miranda Tozier-Robbins was ordered by a judge today to stay 100 yards away from Brit and her home, according to
E!. She will also be arraigned next week on two misdemeanor charges.
Toxier-Robbins
was busted back on April 16 for sneaking into Britney's private Calabasas community and peering into the windows of her home.

During final arguments in today's hearing where
Britney Spears' people are trying to get a permanent restraining order against
Sam Lutfi and
Jon Eardley -- Brit's lawyer called both guys "cowards" for not showing up for cross-examination.
All arguments have been heard and a decision will be made shortly.
Stay tuned...

Well connected sources tell TMZ
Lindsay Lohan is "devastated" after learning members of
Sam Ronson's family are taking steps towards getting a restraining order against LiLo.
After
Us Weekly broke the story that Sam's mother and sister went to a Beverly Hills police station yesterday asking questions about the restraining order process, sources tell TMZ Lindsay has been an emotional wreck -- crying uncontrollably.
We're also told Sam has cut off all communication with Lohan -- and that Lindsay isn't handling it well. In fact, we're told people close to Lindsay are worried she "might lash out."

Sam Lutfi is fighting back against Britney Spears' permanent restraining order against him, saying he never threatened her in any way.
Spears got a temporary restraining order last month claiming Lufti
threatened to expose Spears family secrets, which they say have no basis in reality.
Sam claims in legal papers, "I have not, in any alleged communications with Britney, her hairdresser or any other person, threatened any act of violence against Britney or her family."
It's a confusing statement, because Brit never accused Sam of threatening violence.
Lutfi claims he received anonymous text messages saying Jamie Spears was about to release a letter written by Brit "making serious accusations" against him.
Sam says he called Jamie to discuss the letter.
The Spears clan didn't see it that way, especially since Lufti was supposed to cease all contact with Brit.
UPDATE: An L.A. judge just extended the restraining order against Sam, Adnan Ghalib and Jon Eardley until Wednesday, so Poppa Spears could have time to testify.
TMZ has just obtained declarations from Jamie Spears and others in the latest Britney Spears case -- Britney's lawyer says Sam Lutfi had inserted himself and tried peddling false and hurtful info about Jamie, Britney and others in her family.
Sam allegedly was calling lawyers saying that Britney wanted to hire her own lawyer, presumably to fight the conservatorship. Sources tell TMZ that is definitely not what Britney wanted.
As we first reported, the conservators for Britney Spears obtained a restraining order today against Sam Lutfi, Adnan Ghalib and attorney Jon Eardley. We're told Brit herself is furious at Lutfi and Ghalib and would like to see them jailed.
Here's the most interesting part....According to the legal papers, late last month Lutfi sent text messages to Brit's hairdresser, saying he wasn't responsible for the conservatorship. A week or so later, Britney received "instant messages from a person with the screen name ____....The person -- who posed as the mother of a daughter with autism -- made a number of utterly false and hurtful assertions concerning Mr. Spears and his family, threatening to go public with such purported 'information' unless Mr. Spears spoke with that person." Almost immediately after Brit got those messages, Lutfi began calling Jamie.
