San Francisco Giants pitcher Jake Peavy is in the process of buying an authentic S.F. cable car to commemorate the big win ... and he's planning to turn it INTO A BAR ... TMZ Sports has learned.
How cool is that!?
We spoke with Jake's brother Luke Peavy, who tells us the whole thing is still a "work in progress" -- but they've already got the plans drawn out.
Here's the deal ... the Peavy family owns a 5,000-acre estate in Alabama called Southern Falls Plantation -- and the goal is to ship the cable car over to the property.
"Once it's in 'Bama, it will be turned into a mobile bar in Southern Falls," Luke tells us.
So, to make this clear ... if you're on the property, THE BAR WILL COME TO YOU!!!!
No word on when the Peavy's plan to have the bar in operation -- but the family is super-charging the process to get it done ASAP.
Hey Jimmy Fallon ...
Here's a Pair of My Undies!
11/4/2014 7:37 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
Jimmy Fallon tried on Madison Bumgarner's underwear on live TV last night ... and it was hilarious.
The World Series hero appeared on "The Tonight Show" -- armed with a gift for the talk show host ... a pair of the "Mad Bum" undies that Jockey started making in Bumgarner's honor.
FYI -- the undies have quickly become collector's items ... since Jockey only made 2,000 pairs to commemorate the pitcher's historic World Series performance.
Fallon was pumped about his new drawers ... and tried 'em on right on the set.
Bumgarner couldn't have been prouder.
Cedric the Entertainer
Giants Owe Kim K. & Kanye West Big
... For World Series Win
10/30/2014 3:25 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Madison Bumgarner is getting all the credit, but Cedric the Entertainer says the San Francisco Giants had 2 other World Series MVPs -- Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
TMZ Sports spotted the comedian in Calabasas and he admitted he was pulling for the Kansas City Royals ... since the Giants whupped his beloved St. Louis Cardinals.
But Ced is buying into the not-so-widely held theory that Kimye was a good luck charm for San Fran ... considering they got engaged at AT&T Park last year and also attended the Giants' Game 5 victory in SF.
Watch Cedric explain why Kim's the queen of good luck -- gotta love a good backhanded compliment!
San Fran Police:
40 TOTAL ARRESTS
2 People Shot in World Series Madness
10/30/2014 12:22 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
The stats are in from the chaotic World Series madness in San Francisco, according to the SFPD, and it's pretty shocking:
-- 40 total arrests
-- 9 police cars damaged
-- 3 officers injured
-- 2 people shot
We're told 29 of the arrests were for public intoxication.
As for the shootings ... the details are minimal, but we're told they both stemmed from the madness that ensued in S.F. after the Giants beat the Royals.
We're told both people who were shot are alive.
In the cases of the injured officers, we're told all 3 were hospitalized with injuries caused by flying glass bottles.
One officer suffered a "severe laceration" to the hand. Another was struck in the shoulder. And the third officer had an arm-wound.
The SF Fire Dept. also had a busy night -- putting out makeshift bonfires all over the city.

'Madison Bumgarner Day'
10/30/2014 12:02 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
SF Giants hero Madison Bumgarner is about to get his OWN DAY in the town where he grew up ... with officials telling TMZ Sports there's even talk of a parade to honor the World Series MVP.
We spoke with an official from Caldwell County, N.C. -- population just over 80,000 -- who tells us Madison is the talk of the town ... everyone is so proud of their hometown hero after his legendary pitching performance against the Royals.
In fact, plans are already in motion to determine which day of the year will become "Madison Bumgarner Day."
We're told the only thing holding up the date selection is Madison's schedule -- because officials want to select a day when Madison is in town.
Officials tell us there are talks of throwing a parade in Madison's honor -- but those plans are not set in stone yet.
We reached out to Madison -- but as you can imagine, he's a pretty busy guy today.
Meantime, officials have already put up a billboard to honor Madison.
Pretty cool, right?
MLB Star Barry Zito
Rent My Giant S.F. Mansion
... $25k Per Month!
10/14/2014 7:44 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
He once signed a $126 MILLION contract ... but former MLB pitcher Barry Zito could still use a few extra bucks -- which is why he's trying to rent out his S.F. mansion for $25k per month.
The ex-San Francisco Giants hurler has listed his 2-acre estate in Marin County, CA to rent or buy ... the latter will run you about $9 million.
The place is pretty sweet -- 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a wine cellar, pool, outside fire-place with seating area, a guest house ... and privacy, privacy, PRIVACY!!!
The former Cy Young winner bought the place in 2007 for $8.8 mil ... but clearly, he's over it.
Zito's also selling another mansion he owns in the Hollywood Hills.
No word on where he plans to live now ... but it's probably somewhere nice.
MLB Star Tim Lincecum
Unloads '50 Shades of Grey' Condo
2/16/2014 12:35 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
Bad news for fans of Tim Lincecum and "50 Shades of Grey" -- you've just missed your chance to buy the right-hander's Seattle condo ... which is located in the SAME building Christian Grey lives in the book.
The 29-year-old ace dropped $1.575 mil on his hometown apartment weeks after he won the World Series back in 2010 ... and just unloaded the place for a cool $2.25 mil -- about $225K shy of what he was originally asking.
The 2,442 sq ft pad sits on the 28th floor of the Escala building ... which treats its residents to a private spa, gym with a yoga studio, a catering kitchen and dining hall, a massive private theater, and a dog run.
Inside the apartment you'll find ... a giant master suite with walk-in closets and spa-like bathroom ... an open kitchen with custom cabinetry ... granite counters ... and cherry hardwood floors.
There's also a sweet wrap around deck that rounds out the condo -- which features incredible views of downtown Seattle, the Puget Sound, and the Olympic mountains.
Lincecum's contract will keep him in the Bay Area through 2015 ... but earning $35 over the next two-years will probably help ease the pain of cutting ties with the place.
To Play for the L.A. Dodgers
7/31/2013 7:56 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Pro fireballer Brian Wilson says it's "f**king exciting" to bring his talents -- and his tremendous facial hair -- to L.A., telling TMZ he's pumped to play for the Dodgers.
A mohawked Wilson was leaving Equinox gym in L.A. yesterday -- right after signing a 1-year, $1 million deal with the Dodgers -- and expressed his excitement as only Brian Wilson can.
"Well, I'm a pretty big America fan ... red, white and Dodger blue, I guess."
The 31-year-old ex-San Francisco Giants pitcher says he's grateful to get another shot in the bigs after undergoing Tommy John surgery last April ... but insists he harbors no ill will toward his former team.
"I got much love for San Francisco. We had a good time. But there's nothing I can do ... they don't want me back."
When asked about the storied rivalry between the squads, Wilson explained, "I don't worry about rivalry, bro ... I just play baseball, you know."
Welcome to L.A..
Someone Jacked My
Home Run Champion* Plaque
4/24/2013 8:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
Barry Bonds GOT JACKED, SON!!!
Someone -- or someones -- stole Barry's famous home run champion plaque right off the stadium wall at AT&T ballpark in San Francisco last night.
The plaque was originally unveiled at the stadium a few years ago, after Barry smacked his 756th* dinger while playing for the SF Giants.
But a rep for the team says it went missing last night -- explaining, "We're not sure what happened. We're reviewing video, but haven't found anything yet.''
Stealing a home run plaque right off the wall?? That's gotta take some big, giant cojones ... so, obviously the culprit isn't a steroid user.
Thanks to our friends at countryfastball.com for the plaque picture
SF Giants' Sergio Romo
Won't Be Prosecuted
In Vegas Airport Bust
2/4/2013 3:20 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF
San Francisco Giants pitcher Sergio Romo (and his beard) can breathe a sigh of relief ... 'cause the world series superstar will NOT be charged following his recent Vegas bust, TMZ has learned.
We broke the story ... Romo and his beard were detained by cops on New Year's Day -- after he allegedly became "angry and aggressive" with a TSA agent at the airport. According to sources, he appeared to be under the influence.
Romo and his beard were cited with a misdemeanor -- and escorted off airport grounds.
A rep for the Clark County District Attorney's office tells us ... Romo will NOT be charged due to a "lack of prosecutorial resources."
The rep explains, "We simply do not have the manpower or resources to go forward on every case ... and must weigh the value, provability, and seriousness of each case accordingly."
In other words, Romo and his beard are small potatoes to the DA.
SF Giants' Romo
At Vegas Airport

Law enforcement sources tell us, the San Francisco Giants pitcher was detained by cops because he couldn't provide the proper ID to clear security.
We're told Romo then got into it with a TSA agent -- becoming "angry and aggressive." Cops then swooped in and cuffed him.
Romo was taken to the police station at the airport , where he was cited for violating airport rules and then released. Romo was not allowed to fly following the incident, and was subsequently escorted off airport grounds.
According to law enforcement sources, Romo appeared to be under the influence.
Not a good week for athletes named Romo.
San Francisco Giants
Zoo Names Good Luck
Monkey After ...
10/31/2012 1:00 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
San Francisco Giants fans got their wish ... the "good luck" monkey -- whose birth coincided with a string of Giants victories -- WILL be named after one of the World Series winning players, and TMZ has learned who gets the honor.
A rep for the SF Zoo tells TMZ, the red-haired Francois' langur monkey will forever be named Romo -- after Giants' closing pitcher Sergio Romo ... who struck out Detroit Tigers' Miguel Cabrera to clinch the WS Sunday night.
Romo (the monkey) rose to fame during the NLCS -- when the Giants went on a 3-game winning streak right after its birth.
Fans claimed Romo's miraculous birth was responsible for the Giants' wins -- and demanded the zoo name the "Lucky Langur" after a current Giants player.
The zoo's rep says they settled on the name because the monkey shares Sergio's "playful spirit."
Fun fact: Romo (the monkey) is actually female.
