The phrase "pick on someone your own size" has never been truer -- as Shaquille O'Neal (7'1" 330 pounds) just challenged massive MMA fighter Hong Man Choi (7'2" 330 pounds) to a no-holds-barred fist fight.

Shaq shot this video calling out the giant after a recent training session -- and according to the clip, it seems like the challenge could be legit.
Hong's the guy who made Jose Canseco his mini-bitch back in May ... but really, is that an accomplishment?

While the Shaq-less Los Angeles Lakers enjoy the sweet taste of victory -- there's a 7-foot trash-talkin' ex-teammate who knows he's got a big helpin' of "Kobe Bryant's ass" comin' his way.
Check out the message Shaquille O'Neal just posted on his Twitter page ... spelling errors and all:
Congratualtions kobe, u deserve it. You played great . Enjoy it my man enjoy it. And I know what yur sayin rt now "Shaq how my ass taste "

Obviously, this stems from Shaq's incredible rendition of "Kobe How My Ass Taste" -- a freestyle rap he dropped when Kobe and the Lake Show lost in the NBA Finals last year.
For the record -- that song ruled.

When Shaq posted this pic of a personalized private jet bearing his wife's name and face on his Twitter page Wednesday, it seemed like The Diesel had just one-upped any gift any man had ever given his lady ... until Shaunie blew his cover!

While it's not impossible to think Shaq has the kind of disposable income to blow on a PJ, Shaunie immediately cleared up any speculation, telling people via Twitter, "lol... Directly frm photoshop, lol."
This pic of Shaq's new hairdo however -- completely legit.

Shaq invited him to play basketball in his private gym, Usher took him to an NBA playoff game, Bow Wow even helped him shoot a YouTube video -- seems like Chris Brown is finally out of celebrity exile.

At first it was hard to find a celebrity who would take a stand on the incident at all, but now -- just three months after he allegedly beat the crap out of Rihanna -- he's back in the "in-crowd," like the whole thing never happened. He's even dropping an album.
We don't expect Chris is gonna have a sit-down dinner with Jay-Z any time soon... but at this point, would you really be surprised?

Shaquille O'Neal's never been the fastest baller in the NBA, but he sure drops the hammer on the freeway.

Shaq has been busted for speeding twice in the last six months -- and both times he was caught by an all-seeing photo radar camera.
Shaq was snapped behind the wheel on Phoenix area freeways in February of this year and in December 2008.
The Phoenix Suns center paid $181.50 for the February ticket, but he still owes the same amount for the other one.

Keep in mind that Shaquille O'Neal could literally destroy all of the people following him around ... and yet he chooses not to. Inspiring.

Shaq walked the beat last night as a self-described "undercover cop" -- even stopping to buy dinner for a homeless lady. We're told she left without eating, but we didn't have the guts to let Shaq know.

Celebs are used to purchasing million dollar homes and trading them like baseball cards, but with the economy hitting rock bottom, stars like Britney Spears, Richard Gere, Elle Macpherson and Shaquille O'Neal have drastically slashed millions on their mansions on the market.

If you ever wanted to live in your Idol's digs -- now's the time.

Shaquille O'Neal -- the same guy who wanted Kobe to "taste his ass" -- is under fire for his role in an ESPN commercial after some gay rights groups slammed it for being homophobic.

The spot, which was just pulled by the network, features Shaq rejecting a "fist kiss" -- a spin on the term "fist pound" -- from sports commentator Mike Breen. After the offer, Shaq responds, "No fist kiss, no fist love, no fist hump. None of that. You're a weirdo man. Stay over there ... fist kiss ... disgusting."
Long story short: GLAAD (the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) blasted the ad. ESPN apologized and has since pulled the spot.
No word from Shaq yet, but several articles have made sure to point out O'Neal's history of gay rights advocacy -- including the time he stated he would "protect a gay teammate" and the time he chased down a pack of gay bashers in Miami.

First the staged moon landing ... now this!
In perhaps the greatest, longest running publicity stunt since the inception of the WWF, Shaquille O'Neal tells ESPN, "I always did love Kobe. It was all marketing."
That's right Lakers fans, telling Kobe to "Tell me how my ass tastes", was all teasing. And that whole kooky thing during his rape trial when Kobe accused Shaq of cheating on his wife and Shaq responded by basically calling him a snitch and a rat -- ACTING!
Shaq, we saw you in "Kazaam." You're not that good.

Shaquille O'Neal won't have to go to the bench today in Atlanta -- the kind of bench a judge sits at, at least.

The woman who claims Shaq stalked and threatened her has pulled her request for a permanent restraining order in Fulton County Superior Court. A court date was set for today for Diesel and Alexis Miller, who said she'd gotten vulgar phone messages and texts from O'Neal after they broke off an alleged affair.
No word on a settlement. O'Neal has denied the charges.
Lawyers for Miller and Shaq couldn't be reached immediately for comment.

Two of the biggest sports stars (Shaq and A-Rod) in the world, embroiled in two real big marital messes, crossed paths in NYC an hour ago.

In case you didn't hear, A-Rod just sealed the deal in his divorce, and a rapper in Atlanta got a restraining order against Shaq.

The woman who has accused Shaq of harassing her has herself been accused of stalking.
Alexis Miller, an Atlanta rapper who goes by MaryJane, got a restraining order against Shaq last week, claiming he threatened her and, among other things, made heavy-breathing phone calls to her.
We got hold of court papers flied last year by Lakisha Renae Hall. A judge ordered Miller to stay 500 yards away from Hall and have no contact with her.
And the plot thickens. Shaq is not the only one who incurred Miller's wrath. In October 2007, Miller tried getting a restraining order against Jonathan Stubbs, claiming he stalked her -- once pulling out a gun, shooting it once and yelling, "Who were you with?" That petition was dismissed because Miller never followed through.

Shaq may have some serious 'splainin' to do.
MaryJane, the Atlanta hip hop artist who just got a restraining order claiming Shaq has terrorized her since their alleged breakup, claims their relationship ended on July 18.
That's probably not syncing up with Shaq's wife Shaunie, who was photo'd out with him during the July 4th weekend, supposedly working on a reconciliation.
Shaq filed for divorce almost a year ago but the proceeding was put on ice recently because they were supposedly back together.
We spoke with Shaunie's lawyer, to see if the D was back on, but the lawyer says nobody's uttered a peep about another woman.
Ironically the divorce dismissal for Shaq and Shaunie was made official, and signed by the judge today.

Shaq has been officially restrained from going near a woman who claims after they broke up he terrorized her.

Alexis Miller, an Atlanta hip-hop artist who goes by MaryJane, just got a restraining order against Shaquille O'Neal, alleging he threatened to hurt her and harassed her with heavy-breathing over the phone.
The docs claim following their break-up last month, Shaq "threatened to 'blackball" [her] from the recording industry by paying established artists....$50,000 each for their agreement to refuse to perform or record with her in the future..."
According to court docs Shaq wrote her one email that reads, "I dnt no who the fuk u think u dealin wit u will neva be heard from one phone call is all I gotta make no try me. Sho me."
The docs also allege Shaq sent her "an unsolicited vulgar and offensive illustration of a man physically restraining a woman while forcing her to engage in sexual intercourse with him."
O'Neal is scheduled to appear before a judge on Sept. 4.
A call to Shaq's rep was not returned.
UPDATE: MaryJane's lawyer, L. David Wolfe, tells us his client has known Shaq for 18 months. We're told Shaq has sent her multiple emails that have caused her concern.
