Shawn Johnson's alleged stalker will stand trial for four of the five charges that were filed against him -- felony stalking, felony commercial burglary and two misdemeanor counts of carrying a loaded firearm in his car.
Robert O'Ryan was in court today in downtown Los Angeles. A judge decided to toss out the attempted kidnapping charge against O'Ryan even though he had a veritable kidnapper's field kit in his car -- including zip ties, duct tape, a shotgun, a .45 handgun, bulletproof vest, Buck Knife, sharpening stone, wooden club ... and a bag of apples.
The charge was tossed out because O'Ryan left all those items in his car when he allegedly went after Shawn -- and there was so much junk in O'Ryan's car, the court decided it would have been impossible to fit a kidnapping victim inside. Seriously. And Shawn is only 4'9".
O'Ryan's bail was set at $220,000.

New season, new contestants, same old outfit.
Swimmer Natalie Coughlin was given the same frilly blue dress for her web promo that gymnast Shawn Johnson wore on the show last year -- giving the lovely ladies something else in common other than the 2008 Olympics.
The dress could turn out to be good or bad luck: Johnson won "Dancing" last year ... but she also gained an alleged stalker.

Shawn Johnson won "Dancing with the Stars" last night -- but in more important news, she just banked $365,000 doing it. Repeat: THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
We got a hold of Shawn's "Dancing" contract a while back, which stated she would bank $125,000 up front, then incremental paychecks that topped off at $50k a week for the last 2 episodes.
That's a lotta cheese...

A preliminary hearing has been set for the trial of Robert O'Ryan -- the man accused of stalking Shawn Johnson.
O'Ryan and his impressive gathering of chin hair appeared in L.A. County Criminal Court today -- where a judge set the date for June 11.
O'Ryan faces three charges for the March incident -- one felony count of stalking and two misdemeanor counts of carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle.

This dude in a Des Moines piano bar had Shawn Johnson as red as the #3 billiard ball on his shirt after he sang a hilarious song in honor of her and "Dancing with the Stars" partner Mark Ballas.
We'll just try and ignore the part where he sings about the 17-year-old's chest.

Better safe than sorry: Shawn Johnson's alleged stalker is currently behind bars, but her family ain't takin' no chances -- they just got a permanent restraining order against the scary dude.
Shawn's parents appeared in court today at the L.A. County Superior Court, where a judge ordered Robert O'Ryan to stay at least 100 yards away from the Olympic gymnast and her parents for the next 3 years.
O'Ryan is being held on $220,000 bail after pleading not guilty last month to one count of felony stalking and two misdemeanor counts of carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle.

UPDATE: TMZ has obtained even more of the crazy dashcam footage of Shawn Johnson's obsessed fan when he was stopped in 'Bama -- five days before he was arrested near the "Dancing" set with guns and duct tape in his car.
The man accused of stalking Shawn Johnson was actually stopped by Alabama cops during his cross country trek to California -- and was caught on tape nonsensically rambling to police about his plans to meet and marry the Olympic champion.
In surveillance video taken five days before he was arrested, Robert O'Ryan can be heard telling police, "I'm meeting with her. I've been communicating with her ... Basically, I'm gonna try to get her to marry me." O'Ryan also says all his conversations with Johnson have been "telepathic." And after hearing all this crazy talk -- the officer LET HIM GO!
According to WKRG in Alabama, O'Ryan was given two traffic tickets: one for having no insurance and the other for an expired license plate.
O'Ryan was arrested on March 24 after trying to break into the lot where Johnson films "Dancing with the Stars." He was charged with one felony count of stalking and two misdemeanor counts of carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle.

Cedric Yarbrough thinks Shawn Johnson should "thank her lucky 'Dancing with the Stars' stars" she's got a stalker -- even if he does look like Manson and has an affinity for guns and duct tape.
The "Reno 911" actor is desperate for a creepy superfan of his very own. A hot Asian, twenty-something superfan is preferred, if he has the choice.

Looking like an overweight version of Nick Nolte trying out for a "Flashdance" remake -- this completely normal guy was hanging out (all over the place) at the dance studio where Shawn Johnson practices for "Dancing with the Stars."

Karina Smirnoff from "Dancing With The Stars" was headed to practice when we asked her if she knew how much bank Shawn Johnson was getting paid for doing the show.
Unfortunately for Karina, we had to be the ones to inform her that she makes chump change compared to her 17-year-old competitor.
