Christie Brinkley dice que fue diagnosticada con una forma de cáncer de piel, por suerte los médicos lo detectaron a tiempo para extraerlo.

La ex modelo compartió algunas imágenes el miércoles. La publicación la muestra en plena recuperación después de un procedimiento al que se sometió para eliminar el carcinoma de células basales, el cual dice que tiene suerte de haber eliminado rápidamente.

Christie escribe: "Los médicos extirparon el cáncer y me cosieron a la perfección como un Dior de alta costura. La buena noticia para usted es que todo esto se puede evitar siendo responsable con el protector solar!".

Ella continúa diciendo: "Tuve suerte, porque estaba acompañando a una de mis hijas a su chequeo... El doctor estaba mirando cada peca con una lupa... no era mi cita, así que no iba a decir nada, pero al final le pregunté si podía mirar un pequeño punto que podía sentir mientras me aplicaba la base de maquillaje".

Christie dice que el médico entonces sospechaba que algo estaba mal con lo que estaba mostrando y ordenó una biopsia... resulta que descubrieron las células cancerosas.

Como dijimos, Christie publicó fotos de la extirpación del cáncer cerca de su sien... y son muy detalladas y sangrientas, por lo tanto, no son aptas para los débiles de corazón.

Para su información, un estimado de 3.6 millones de casos de carcinoma de células basales se diagnostican cada año según la Fundación de Cuidado de la Piel, pero la buena noticia es que el cáncer es curable si se detecta y se trata a tiempo.

Lindsey Vonn went from shredding the gnar to icing down her backside real quick on Tuesday ... 'cause she was attacked by a jellyfish several minutes into a wakesurfing sesh.

"I literally rode over it," she said on her social media page.

The 38-year-old told her followers that the jellyfish bit and stung her so badly ... it caused her left hamstring to swell up and turn red. Eventually, it morphed into more of a road-rash-like wound.

Thankfully, after asking her fans for remedies, she seems to be doing better now ... even getting in a joke about it all on Wednesday.

"Think it’s gonna leave a mark for a while … 🤕," she said, "at least I caught some waves before!"

Of course, Vonn is no stranger to dealing with pain ... she just had yet another surgery on her knee back in July -- and has rehabbed from that just fine.

Beyoncé is still in the middle of her hugely successful "Renaissance" tour, but that didn't stop her from taking a little break to get some serious privacy to celebrate her birthday.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ the singer rented out a spot called Mermaid Bay -- a string of 11 villas located within The Brando, a private island resort for the ultra-rich in French Polynesia.

Our sources say Beyoncé and crew arrived at the property September 5, and stayed at least through Friday the 8th ... with adults and kids all in tow.

As for her accommodations, we're told Beyoncé and Jay-Z stayed in the Bay's main residence -- a 4-bedroom villa that goes for around $20K per night -- and the rest of their group stayed among the 10 other villas ... which have 1, 2 and 3 bedroom options.

Of course, Beyoncé's actual birthday was September 4, and she celebrated it with Diana Ross and about 70,000 fans -- so the private island retreat looks like the perfect destination to unwind before taking on her 42nd year.

50 Cent's "Final Lap" tour will need to take another run at Phoenix after extreme heat forced the rapper to postpone his show.

The G-Unit rapper -- along with Tony Yayo, Busta Rhymes, Jeremih and more --- were scheduled to hit the outdoor stage at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre Tuesday, but 50 apparently saw the forecast and nipped the show in the bud.

50 wrote on IG, "Due to extreme heat, the show tomorrow in Phoenix, AZ is being postponed ... For anyone who would like a refund, please go to point of purchase for instructions. I’ll be back in Arizona soon! 116 degrees is dangerous for everyone."

The city has now updated its Extreme Heat Warning to carry on into Wednesday ... but the tour has since moved on to California for several dates.
