He added, "Working along with the Patriots and NFL security, those agencies collectively coordinated an investigation that also led to the recovery of Tom's missing Super Bowl XLIX jersey."

The Mexican Attorney General's Office has released the photos of the uniforms.

You can see the grass stains from the SB 49 jersey -- when the Patriots defeated the Seahawks at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona.

The jerseys were allegedly jacked by Mauricio Ortega -- who was a credentialed member of the international media when he went into the Patriots locker room and swiped the #12 unis.

Officials say at least 1 other Super Bowl item was recovered during a raid on Ortega's home in Mexico -- Von Miller's helmet from SB 50.

Tom Brady Suspect Video Released Allegedly Capturing Jersey Heist

3/20/2017 10:46 AM PDT
Breaking News

11:28 AM PT -- The suspect's name is Mauricio Ortega -- a former executive at a Mexican news organization called "Diario La Prensa."

According to La Prensa, Ortega resigned from his position on March 14th. The paper was unaware of the investigation into Ortega until today.

Here is video of the man suspected of stealing Tom Brady's Super Bowl jersey ... according to Ian Rappaport of NFL Network ... and it sure looks like he's got something under his arm.

The suspect was captured on video by FOX, the network that aired Super Bowl 51 -- and while his face is blurred, you can see his tie is terrible.

We are told the frame that shows the suspect clutching an item under his arm is what blew the case wide open for authorities.

The video was first aired on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" on FS1.

Officials have said the suspect was a credentialed member of the media. His name and alleged media organization have not been released.

Breaking News

9:02 AM PT -- Sources connected to the investigation tell us 2 Patriots jerseys and 1 Broncos helmet were recovered in Mexico.

The Broncos helmet is likely that of Von Miller, as Jay Glazer reported.

We're told no cleats have been recovered ... at least not yet.

Glazer said Miller's cleats also went M.I.A. after Super Bowl 50. Unclear if it's connected to this investigation. The man who jacked Tom Brady's Super Bowl jerseys may have ALSO stolen Von Miller's helmet and cleats from Super Bowl 50 ... so says Jay Glazer.

Glazer appeared on "Undisputed" on FS1 and said investigators used video footage to identify the suspect in the Super Bowl 51 caper.

Glazer says investigators saw the suspect enter the locker room behind Bill Belichick and leave a short time later with something tucked under his arm.

Glazer says the suspect had a legitimate media credential -- but may not be a real journalist. He may have been running a scam.

And get this ... Glazer says the Denver Broncos believe the suspect hit Von Miller in the previous Super Bowl.

Houston PD Blames NFL Security For Stolen Tom Brady Jersey

3/20/2017 9:38 AM PDT
Breaking News

The Houston PD wants to make it perfectly clear it was NFL security that had watch over the Patriots locker room ... and therefore it's NFL security who should get the blame for Tom Brady's jersey going missing.

Chief Art Acevedo says it was the Houston PD that led the search for the jersey and should get the majority of the credit for its return.

Acevedo says he put a "handful" of investigators on the case because of the national and international attention ... and felt it was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect Super Bowl.

Acevedo says Houston PD developed the first major lead from an informant that led officials to the suspect.

Acevedo did give some credit to the FBI and other law enforcement agencies but it's clear he wants everyone to know HPD was the leader.

As for NFL security, Acevedo says he hopes the NFL can learn from the incident and correct the way it handles Super Bowl locker room security moving forward.

Tom Brady's Stolen Jersey RECOVERED On 'Foreign Soil' ... Viva Mexico!

Breaking News

The FBI has recovered Tom Brady's stolen Super Bowl 51 jersey and the Houston PD says it was tracked to MEXICO!!!

The NFL says Tom's Super Bowl 49 jersey -- which was ALSO stolen (secretly, apparently) -- was recovered as well.

Officials believe it was jacked by the same person and moved outside the U.S. ... so says CSNNE's Tom Curran

Jay Glazer -- who first reported the story -- says the FBI teamed up with the NFL security team for the recovery -- and is now in the process of returning the jerseys to Brady.

So, who's the thief??

The NFL says the items were found in the possession of a "credentialed member of the international media."

Of course, the jersey went missing in the minutes after Brady and the Patriots beat the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

Video later surfaced (courtesy of our friends at Yahoo Sports) showing Brady searching through his equipment bag for the jersey while insisting that he "100 percent" put it in there.

Multiple law enforcement agencies joined the search -- including the Texas Rangers. Brady valued the jersey at $500,000 on the police report filed in Houston.

Anheuser-Busch Sued You Can't Have Spuds MacKenzie He's Our Party Dog Now!

3/15/2017 10:46 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Anheuser-Busch has no business using the ghost of Spuds MacKenzie to sell Bud Light because that doggy don't bark for the beer giant anymore ... according to a new lawsuit.

Spuds Ventures says it currently owns the rights to the beer-drinking party dog from the late '80s, and Anheuser-Busch completely screwed them by bringing Spuds back for a Super Bowl 51 ad without getting permission.

According to the docs ... A-B abandoned its Spuds MacKenzie campaign more than 20 years ago amid controversy the dog made beer kid-friendly. In 2013 Spuds Ventures swooped in to take ownership of Spuds.

Spuds Ventures says Anheuser only objected last year to its purchase of the dog's rights ... as the brewery was gearing up for its Super Bowl commercial.

SV is suing for damages and any profits Anheuser made off its Spuds reboot commercial.
