'Good Witch' Star Bailee Madison

15 and Flush with Cash

7/4/2015 12:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0623_Bailee-Madison_good_witch_gettyBailee Madison must have cast a spell on the creators of Hallmark Channel’s “Good Witch," because she stands to make a million bucks from the show.

TMZ took a gander at her minor’s contract and the 15-year-old is clearly the envy of her peers for playing the young witch. She made $30k per episode for the first season.

The next 4 years could set her up for life -- she can make $36,465 an episode by the 5th season.

Only 3 more years until she's free to blow the money on whatever her witchy heart desires.

Miss USA

Trump Won't Make a Penny From Reelz

7/2/2015 10:55 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0702-miss-usa-reelz-021

The CEO of Reelz, which has agreed to run the Miss USA pageant, tells TMZ, Donald Trump will lose money because the fee the network is paying is way less than the cost of production.

Stan Hubbard tells us, he made the decision to air the pageant because it's a TV show, not a political event, and the women participating should not be punished for Trump's remarks.

Hubbard thinks it's hypocritical for people to demand a boycott, because it's no different from buying music or watching TV shows and movies featuring entertainers who have wacky views.

The CEO says he personally disagrees strongly with Trump's remarks about Mexicans, but he feels strongly the pageant should not be the ultimate victim.

As for money, Hubbard says "Trump is not going to profit from what we're paying. What we've agreed to pay doesn't even dent the cost of production."

Hubbard says right now there are no advertisers and it will be a challenge given the political climate and the July 4th weekend, where everyone's gone. But he says Trump won't see a penny of ad revenue.

Hubbard also says pageant organizers are trying to find a Hispanic host. He also says a series of PSAs promoting "Hispanic non-political causes" will air during the show.

Miss USA will air on Reelz July 12.

Stephen Colbert to Eminem

I Ain't Afraid of You, Punk!

7/2/2015 9:42 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Stephen Colbert got in Eminem's face during a heated mano a mano showdown over retirement plans -- and things got weird ... mostly because this all went down on public access TV.

Colbert played anchorman on Monroe, Michigan's public access cable show 'Only In Monroe' and had local Michigander Marshall Mathers on as his guest.

Colbert's obviously warming up for his 'Late Show' debut -- and Em had to know this was all a joke, but his acting is hardly up to "8 Mile" standards.

But it's still worth watching ... just for Stephen and Marshall's faux face-off.

You only get one shot ...

Shemar Moore

I'm Going Down!!

Thanks a Ton, Homie

7/2/2015 7:59 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0702_shemar_moore_beach_shirtless_launch2Shemar Moore engaged in some all-American guy fun -- flashing his sexy, rippling muscles on South Beach ... just long enough to get CRUSHED into the sand by another dude.

The "Criminal Minds" star kicked off his holiday early -- chilling with his cousin, who is such a MASSIVE slab o' man ... he tossed 6'1" Shemar around like a rag doll. A stupidly chiseled rag doll, but still ...

Someone's gonna be red, white, and bruised for the 4th of July.

breaking news

0702-donald-trump-miss-usa-01Donald Trump has found someone who likes him ... Reelz will air the Miss USA Pageant

After being dumped by Univision and NBC, Reelz swooped in and will broadcast the pageant on July 12.

In announcing the move -- which made no mention of The Donald or the controversy surrounding him -- CEO Stan E. Hubbard said, "As one of only a few independent networks, we decided to exercise our own voice and committed ourselves to bringing this pageant to American viewers everywhere."

In addition to losing its network, the pageant has seen its host, judges and musical guest bow out.

Trump is suing Univision for $500 million for allegedly bailing on their contract.

NeNe Leakes

I'm Not Doing Season 8 'Housewives'

Not Even a Little Bit

7/2/2015 12:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

NeNe Leakes made it clear to our photog ... 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' is on its own next season, because she will not appear at all ... not even occasionally.

Producers floated the possibility of a reduced role for NeNe in Season 8, but she shot that down in a big way Wednesday at LAX.

The buzz is that the show is in trouble without her. NeNe seems to agree.

And this is interesting ... she said her decision to leave the show never had anything to do with money.

As we reported, she's signed on to do an ABC game show, "To Tell the Truth."

Emmitt Smith

Bails On Miss USA

In Wake of Trump Backlash

7/1/2015 11:03 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0701-emmett-smith-miss-usa-01

NFL legend Emmitt Smith is now distancing himself from Donald Trump ... backing out as a judge in the upcoming Miss USA pageant after Trump trashed Mexicans.

Smith was one of 5 celebrity judges that was scheduled to participate on the show.

Several high profile people have dropped out from the production including co-host Cheryl Burke, Flo Rida (who was supposed to perform) and Roselyn Sanchez.

Don't forget Univision and NBC have also cut ties with Trump ... after he referred to Mexican immigrants as mostly drug dealers and rapists.

NeNe Leakes

Calling Out Liars

For ABC Game Show

EXCLUSIVE

0701-nene-betty-anthony-abc-01

NeNe Leakes, who became famous as a truth teller, will now decide who's telling the truth on primetime TV, and Betty White's gonna help her.

We've learned NeNe will be one of the stars on the reboot of ABC's "To Tell the Truth," once a huge '60s game show.

The premise of the show ... 3 contestants will try to convince NeNe, Betty and a third panelist that they invented something, discovered something or whatever. Two of the contestants are impostors and one is the real deal. The panelists ask questions to figure it out.

 Anthony Anderson is the host.

It's a big move for NeNe, who wanted to break out of reality TV, even though primetime is riddled with reality. No air date has been set.

Fun Fact: one of the panelists of the original "To Tell the Truth" was Allen Ludden ... Betty's late husband, who went on to host "Password."

Carlos Slim

Mexican Billionaire Says

'No Gracias' To 'Apprentice'

EXCLUSIVE

0630-carlos-slim-donald-trump-tmz-01Mexican mogul Carlos Slim sits on a telecommunications empire worth billions, making him the perfect replacement for Trump on "The Apprentice," but it’s not gonna happen, TMZ has learned.

Slim’s rep tells TMZ, "No creo que le interese. Esta muy ocupado sobre todo con Las Fundaciones y la labor social."

Rough translation: He’s not interested because his foundations and social work already keep him very busy.

As for Slim's views on Trump, one of Slim's TV companies, Ora TV, followed in the footsteps of Univision and Televisa and cut ties with Trump on a pending project.

Trump … mas remedio tiene un muerto.

Donald Trump

Sues Univision

Blames Hillary Clinton

6/30/2015 2:03 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
breaking news

0630-donald-trump-tmz-01Donald Trump just sued Univision for $500 million for pulling the plug on the Miss USA pageant.

TMZ broke the story ... Trump promised he'd go after the network, claiming he has an iron-clad, 5 year deal in which it promised to run the beauty contest.

Trump has also vowed to go after NBC in court for pulling the plug on Miss USA. So far, no lawsuit has been filed on that front.

Trump believes Univision and NBC are trying to suppress his right of free speech. In the lawsuit, he says the reason Univision went after him is because the network is owned by Haim Saban, a key Hillary Clinton supporter and fundraiser.

Trump is also suing for defamation, in part because he says on June 25th, Univision Prez of Programming Alberto Ciurana posted a photo on his Instagram account, comparing Trump to Dylann Roof, the 21-year-old responsible for the South Carolina church massacre.

'Simpsons' Creator Matt Groening

Sued By Hispanic Nanny

Claims Discrimination

6/30/2015 1:50 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0630_matt-groening_tmz"The Simpsons" creator Matt Groening has been sued by his former nanny, who claims he has it out for Hispanics, even though Matt's wife is Hispanic.

Tania Cardona claims in a new lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Matt and his wife treated employees "like animals," claiming she was not only worked to the bone, but harassed over her heritage.

Cardona says Matt would say his son was not going to speak "good English" because there were so many Hispanics in the house. The lawsuit says Groening would complain, "his house looked like a Hispanic community and he 'hated' it."

Cardona grouses she and the other Hispanic employees had to eat at a small table next to a trash can in the laundry room.

It's a puzzling lawsuit, because Matt is married to Agustina Maria Picasso Achaval, who is from Argentina.

Cardona claims she was wrongfully terminated and wants millions in damages.

We called Groening for comment. The lawyer said they hadn't seen the lawsuit and therefore had no comment.

Miss USA

We're Beggin' NBC

Save The Sash!!!

6/30/2015 11:08 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0630-donald-trump-nbc-miss-usa-TMZ-01Miss USA organizers are trying to entice NBC to reverse their decision to ax the pageant, with the help of 51 beautiful women.

Sources who run the pageant tell us, they're now scrambling to find a TV home just 2 weeks before the contest. They feel they shouldn't be painted with the same brush as Donald Trump, even though he has a majority stake in the pageant.

So executives who run Miss USA day-to-day are starting a petition, asking everyone associated with the pageant and others to send emails to NBC CEO Steve Burke.

The execs say they're between a rock and a hard place, because only Trump can try to cut a deal with another network, and he's made no such move. But the network has now orphaned the pageant so the only realistic option is for NBC to show mercy on the women who have no dog in Trump's fight.

The pageant people say they were blindsided by NBC's decision ... rehearsals are already underway and the girls are being fitted.

Who knew 51 hot women would have trouble getting a date.

NeNe Leakes

Don't Count Me

Out of 'RHOA' Just Yet

6/30/2015 9:23 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0630-nene-leakes-tmz-01NeNe Leakes isn't done with "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ... TMZ has learned producers want her to come back in a reduced role, and she's game.

Our sources say, although NeNe made it seem she was gone for good, the show's producers are still angling to have her appear periodically during the season.

As we reported, NeNe bailed on the show because the money wasn't right. She's already committed to doing a primetime network sitcom, and the only way she'd continue on 'RHOA' was if they delivered a wheelbarrow full of cash ... to make the crushing workload worthwhile.

But our sources say NeNe is open to a part-time role on 'RHOA,' again if the money is right and it fits with her sitcom schedule.

We're told Bravo is absolutely interested, and the negotiations will begin soon.

Stay tuned.
