Warner said in an interview, "My biggest concern is when it comes to images of people of color on television and film, no matter what ... negative stereotypes of people of color, we've always had "The Cosby Show" to hold up against that. And the fact that we no longer have that, that's the thing that saddens me most because in a few generations the Huxtables will have been just a fairy tale."
He did say he felt sorry for the women whom Cosby allegedly victimized. But his overriding concern seems to be the show.
Michael Jackson went to such extremes to hide his children from the public, it seems shocking they're doing a reality TV series -- but Prince, Paris and Blanket are only doing what they want to do ... according to their cousins.
TJ Jackson and his brothers Taryll and Taj joined us on TMZ Live to talk about "The Jacksons: Next Generation." TJ has a unique perspective on how Michael's kids are raised ... since he was named their legal co-guardian a few years ago.
Tito's sons revealed why their younger cousins were starting to feel trapped by their secluded lifestyle -- and it sounds like the Lifetime docuseries is giving them a chance to turn that around.
Check it out ... TJ seems wise beyond his 37 years, and talks about wanting to make his uncle MJ proud.
Lance Bass is now saying he was sexually harassed as a teenager in 'N Sync -- and although he didn't name the person who did it ... the new allegation sounds eerily similar to things he's said about the group's ex-manager.
Bass and his co-hosts on "The Meredith Vieira Show" were talking about Ashley Judd's recent sexual harassment allegations ... when he opened up about his own experience.
Lance says he was inappropriately touched by someone he worked with when he was 16 or 17. He does not mention 'N Sync's former manager Lou Pearlman by name.
In the past, Lance has said of Lou ... "He'd always grab our arms and feel our muscles and go: 'Hey boys, you workin' out? Yeahhhh!'" He added that he didn't think of the touching as crossing any line.
Numerous reports have claimed Pearlman molested several of his young proteges, but he was never charged with any crime. He did get busted for embezzlement and is serving 25 years in prison.
Quincy Combs is drawing the line on the subject of family loyalty -- it doesn't matter that his pops, Diddy reportedly has issues with "Empire" ... he'd love almost any role on the show, except Jussie Smollett's.
Quincy was leaving 1 OAK Tuesday when our photog asked if he'd toe the line with his dad in his beef with "Empire." Rumor is the show wanted Quincy for the Hakeem role, but Diddy squashed it because FOX would own all the music he made.
Check it out ... Quincy makes it sound like the rumors were false, because he says he'd absolutely take a role, but he's not experienced enough to play a gay character -- presumably because there are scenes involving overt affection.
He's not saying anything disparaging about gays ... he just doesn't think he could pull it off.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" has drawn hordes of fans to the real hotel on which the show is based.
'AHS' die-hards are flocking to Stay on Main hotel in downtown L.A. ... the site of a grisly death in 2013 when it was called the Cecil Hotel.
Elisa Lam was found dead in the hotel's water tank after the hotel received complaints the water tasted funny. Her death was ruled an accidental drowning, but after LAPD released elevator video of Elisa's erratic behavior, stories began surfacing she was possessed and the hotel was haunted.
We're told the barrage of 'AHS' promos featuring Lady Gaga have sent fans into a frenzy ... people are lining up to stay in Elisa's room and poke around the water tank. As for the room, they're out of luck ... it's off limits.
Ryan Murphy has said his inspiration for the new season of 'AHS' -- premiering Wednesday night -- is Lam's story.
We're told security is on alert for people daring to conduct paranormal investigations.
Kim Zolciak hasn't danced her final dance on "Dancing with the Stars."
We're told the folks at 'DWTS' want Kim back for the season finale next month. The plan is to have her dance in several dances on the final show and all she needs is a green light from her doctor.
We're told Kim's on board, despite being kicked off the show after suffering a mini-stroke that unearthed a heart condition. She's not back to 100%, but she already made it out of the house Sunday to watch husband Kroy play in the Falcons game.
Zolciak was at the bottom of the barrel on the show before her medical emergency. At least one person's rooting for her.
"Empire" star Jussie Smollett is keeping it as real as his TV mama Cookie does ... saying he's NOT hookin' up with Michael Sam ... despite the fact they've been spending A LOT of time together recently.
Just last week, Sam posted 3 PICS with Smollett on social media ... leading some people to believe they were more than just friends.
But when we saw Jamal Lyon working out in L.A. on Monday, dude wanted to set the record ... er, straight -- they're close, but ain't nobody humpin' around (shout-out to Bobby Brown).
BONUS -- Smollett also responded to 50 Cent, who's been BLASTING "Empire" over social media ... but surprisingly, he didn't fire off a Lucious Lyon style retaliation. Instead, he's killing with kindness.
50 Cent just learned why it's important to get the full story ... after he shared a homophobic post about "Empire" ... but he didn't read the whole thing.
A rep for 50 tells TMZ the rapper reposted a photo to his Instagram making fun at the show's decline in ratings ... but he missed the part about the drop in ratings being due to the show's "gay stuff."
50's rep says he deleted the post once he saw the homophobic comments attached to it. The rep says the comments were "not a reflection of his views at all."
50 has been beefing with the show for a while now ... mostly because he says it's inferior to his show "Power." It doesn't help that "Empire" singled him out during the season 2 premiere episode.
Someone call Vince McMahon ... because Stephen A. Smith just went on a WWE-style smacktalk rant directed at Kevin Durant ... in which he essentially threatens to dig up dirt that will DESTROY the NBA star!!
It's pretty crazy ... Smith went on ESPN's "First Take" to respond to comments made by Durant -- in which KD called BS on one of Smith's NBA reports about him. Durant called Smith a liar and claimed neither he nor anyone in his inner circle has ever talked to Smith.
Smith clearly didn't take too kindly to the statement ... and UNLOADED this morning:
"I sit here today incredibly offended by the personal attack that this man has put against me," Smith said.
"What I would like to ask Kevin Durant and some of the brothers who talk behind my back in the NBA who probably put him up to something stupid like this ... Do you really want me to come out of this seat and go back on the scene? Do you really wanna see me in an NBA arena?"
"Because I can assure you I'll find out more in 10 minutes than I can get from 50 phone calls .... I have proven it."
"I am a black man on national television with a big mouth and I will still stand up today here and I'll put my resume spanning 22 years plus up against anyone in this industry."
"We really wanna go here? We really wanna start something with ME???? You sure about that??? I just want people to think about that."
Seems the gauntlet has essentially been laid down.
"Game of Thrones" stars Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa came together again in the last place you'd expect to see the Mother of Dragons and The Great Khal ... Fashion Week in Paris.
Clarke shared the joyous photo, writing, "Well I guess the sun rises in the west and sets in the east then huh? Paris fashion week just kicked off....! #Momoaloveforlifebaby #nomorebeerleftinparis #bestdresseddothraki."
