One of the guys from the VH1 reality show "Real Chance of Love
" has been diagnosed with STAGE FOUR colon cancer ... and is hospitalized while doctors come up with a strategy to attack the disease.
TMZ has learned Real
... real name Ahmad Givens
... is getting treatment at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Beverly Hills.
A rep for Real -- who starred with his brother on the popular dating show 'Real Chance' -- tells TMZ he first got sick in January with what he thought was the flu.
We're told 33-year-old Real went back to the hospital at least 4 times and was initially told something was wrong with his liver -- but last week doctors informed him it was colon cancer.
Stage four generally means the cancer has spread to other parts of the body.
We're told the rapper-turned-reality-star will remain hospitalized at least until docs figure out what kind of treatment -- chemotherapy, radiation, or both -- he will require.
The rep says they expect a decision from doctors today.
On the same day as the premiere of the new season of "Celebrity Rehab
," Dennis Rodman
was drinking vodka in an O.C. restaurant ... and eventually had to be escorted out by police.
It all went down Thursday -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Rodman was drinking at a restaurant called Waterfalls inside the Atrium Hotel. We're told cops were called after several patrons complained about Rodman's behavior.
Sources at the restaurant tell TMZ Rodman had at least one vodka drink before cops were called.
When police arrived, Rodman was cooperative with the officers and eventually agreed to leave without further incident.
The new season of "Celebrity Rehab" -- of which Rodman is a part -- premiered Thursday night. Talk about a spoiler...
-- the VH1 reality star who was placed on a psychiatric hold
earlier this month -- claims her mental breakdown was the result of postpartum depression ... but her head-shaving antics had nothing to do with illness.
The "For the Love of Ray J
star claims she buzzed her 'do because she was "inspired by Britney" and just "didn't want hair anymore."
As for the psychiatric hold, Danger claims she was taken in on a 5350
hold -- not a 5150 -- which, according to her, means "they keep you longer and they give you more drugs." Though Danger also says she's not taking any medication.
Danger also claims she also fell victim to a Twitter account hacker recently, who made false statements that she was pregnant again.
-- who starred in the first season of VH1's "For the Love of Ray J
" -- was taken in on a 5150 psychiatric hold earlier this month after an incident involving her newborn daughter.
TMZ spoke with Danger's rep, who told us the reality star had some personal issues as a result of postpartum depression and spent a week in a psychiatric hospital in Northern California.
We're told people close to Danger became concerned when she suddenly shaved off her hair -- a la Britney -- after an argument with her baby's father.
But Danger's rep tells us she's now out of the hospital and doing "fine" adding, "At this time we ask all of Danger's fans for support and prayer."
One of the tools from "Tool Academy
" was allegedly being such a drunken, massive tool at a bar in Arizona this morning that his toolish behavior landed him in the slammer.
Cops tell TMZ Tyler Synon
-- one of the "stars" on season two of the VH1 reality show -- was arrested at Martini Bay
inside the Queens Bay Resort
in Lake Havasu at 1:47 AM.
According to the police report, the "intoxicated" unemployed 22-year-old "had been having an issue with another group of guests" and was asked to leave. Synon allegedly "took a swing" at the employee who asked him to get out, then "hit a wall and a sign" as he was exiting the bar, causing damage to both.
Tyler was arrested for misdemeanor charges of criminal damage and disorderly conduct. Instead of bail, Tyler has to pay $900 in fines ... $500 up front to get out of jail and the rest within three days. And here's the best part:
Before we got the mug shots, we asked the arresting officer how he knew Tyler was from "Tool Academy" ... and he said it was because he had a huge Tool Academy tattoo on his leg. Yeah.UPDATE
: Tyler gave us the following statement: "I just got out of jail, I don't like the feeling, the tool is out of his cage and back on the prowl. I'm glad to be out it was a stupid reason, hitting the sign! There were 5 guards trying to hold me down but I'm a beast, they tried to tackle me, I tried to get them off of me."
There is yet another Michael Jackson auction
going down -- but this time, the people hocking Jacko's swag aren't trying to pocket the cash for themselves. Alexander Autographs
is hosting a massive auction to benefit the VH1 Save the Music Foundation
this week in Connecticut -- and even though they're not putting any hair clippings
on the block, you can still get some really cool stuff.
Signed guitars, wicked leather jackets and even a self-portrait could be yours ... if the price is right.
has learned former Hollywood madame Heidi Fleiss
survived a high-speed, window-smashing, Toyota-flipping car wreck back in June -- and then proceeded to make the whole thing part of an upcoming reality show.
Sources close to Fleiss tell us it all started when Heidi got into a fight with a castmate during a taping of "Celebrity Rehab" in Los Angeles. Heidi was so upset, she ditched the production and got a ride back to her home in Pahrump, NV. But during the trip home, the car swerved and hit a dirt patch, causing it to flip several times.
The Nye County Sheriff's Office -- located near Pahrump -- tells us Heidi wasn't driving when the SUV lost control ... but she was in the passenger seat and thankfully wearing a seat belt. We're told Heidi and her friend suffered some minor scrapes and bruises -- but essentially walked away with no serious injuries.
But here's the catch -- sources tell TMZ a camera crew showed up to the crash scene the very next day and shot the site for "Celebrity Rehab." In classic Hollywood form, we're told VH1 didn't want people on the show talking about the accident publicly .. hoping to keep the story arc on the down-low until it airs sometime in the near future.
A rep at VH1 had no comment.
Former "Road Rules
" star Mark Long
has either been on or hosted just about every reality show on MTV -- so when he says Ryan Jenkins
has made reality television "scary," we tend to believe him.
Long actually hosted the premiere party for "Megan Wants a Millionaire
," the VH1 show Jenkins was a contestant on. He didn't meet Jenkins, but he says Megan Hauserman
told him she never suspected Jenkins was capable of something so horrific.
Jenkins was wanted in connection with the murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore
. He hung himself on August 23.
We've just received the following statement from the production company behind "Megan Wants a Millionaire
" -- the now postponed VH1
reality show Ryan Jenkins
was a part of.
"51Minds was not aware of Ryan Jenkins' record when it cast him on "Megan Wants a Millionaire." Obviously, if the company had been given a full picture of his background, he would never have been allowed on the show.
The company did have in place what it thought was a thorough vetting process that involved complete background checks by an outside company for all contestants on its shows. Clearly, the process did not work properly in this case.
Jenkins was convicted for assaulting
a girlfriend in 2005.
This is a first ... a 911 call asking for an exorcism specialist. The dude who made the 911 call for "Rock of Love 2
" "star" Daisy de la Hoya
said Daisy was making all sorts of Linda Blair moves. The fire department listed the call as "possible overdose," which Daisy later denied
On the left -- VH1 "Tough Love" contestant Taylor Royce
enjoying her evening in Biloxi, Miss. On the right -- cops hauling her off to jail a few hours later. Wha' happened?
Royce was busted
on June 6 for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. As you can see in the photos, she began the night working a gig at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino as a DJ -- but we're told she sucked so bad, she was asked to leave. Cops say she then began yelling and screaming at everyone in sight and had to be pepper sprayed before being escorted out in cuffs.
Things were so bad, we were told by security that if Royce ever comes back, she'll be arrested for trespassing on sight.
