Caitlin Clark's Nike deal is being celebrated as historic by many fans, but the contract should've been worth so much more, according to Dave Portnoy ... who says the Swoosh is committing armed robbery!

"If people want to complain about Caitlin Clark getting screwed complain about this. 8 year 28 million deal is STEALING," the Barstool founder wrote on X.

The deal, which comes along with a signature Clark shoe, has an annual average value of $3.5 million.

Dave believes Clark's worth at least $10 mil!

"8 years 80 million min is her worth and that's still prob too cheap. I hope she has an early opt out if they don't pay up when she blows through this deal."

Of course, the magnitude of Clark's stardom is something we haven't seen before. The women's NCAA Tourney Final blew away the men, drawing 4 million more viewers (18+ million viewers vs. 14+ million). That was a first. The WNBA Draft also saw record ratings.

Critics of the Nike deal, including Dave, believe Clark is going to sell an insane amount of product, making her worth far more than she's getting paid.

NBA stars have received exponentially more lucrative deals. LeBron James received a lifetime contract from Nike that's believed to be worth over $1 billion. Giannis Antetokounmpo's deal with the Oregon based sports giant is reportedly 10 year, $100 million.

There's more. James Harden signed a 10 year, $200 million deal with Adidas several years back. Lillard signed a 10 year, $100 million with the company, too. Donovan Mitchell, Steph Curry, and others also have massive contracts.

Sofia Vergara can finally close the book on her marriage to Joe Manganiello for good -- because she just got rid of the last remnant of their past ... the fancy house they shared.

The actress's Beverly Hills estate -- which she'd been trying to sell for a couple years now -- found a new owner this week according to online records... with a sale of her former property officially closing on Tuesday, at a final price of $13.7 million.

That's down from what she'd relisted it for at the beginning of the year, when she put it back on the market for $13.9 mil -- which had already been slashed by quite a lot since 2022.

Diddy's associate, Brendan Paul, has just been charged with one felony count of drug possession, and it could spell trouble for the rap mogul.

Paul, a former Syracuse men's basketball player who worked as Diddy's main assistant, was arrested in March at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport after feds raided the plane and found cocaine and marijuana candy. He was arrested and taken into custody, at the same time the feds were raiding Diddy's Miami and L.A. mansions.

The 25-year-old, who was extremely close to Diddy and was privy to Diddy's comings and goings, pled not guilty. His lawyer, Brian Bieber, tells TMZ, "We will be dealing with this case in the courtroom, not the court of public opinion."

Anne Heche's estate is having difficulty paying off its outstanding debts -- this according to court docs filed by the late actress' son.

Homer Laffoon is the administrator of his late mom's estate, and he filed docs with the court saying the probate case isn't ready to close yet because it is still dealing with claims from several creditors.

He says her estate has a "modest bank account, royalty payments, and other residual income from pre-death projects" -- such as money from her posthumous memoir "Call Me Anne" -- but, apparently, it's not enough to cover all the claims.

Boeing's string of bad luck seems never-ending ... the aircraft company recently had another mishap as one of its jets had to make an emergency landing in South Africa.

On Sunday, the crowded FlySafair Boeing 737 ran into trouble during takeoff at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg as it was en route to Cape Town about 870 miles away.

At least one wheel malfunctioned as the commercial plane turned around to make the emergency landing back at OR Tambo Airport.
