Bobby Spillane

Robert Spillane (September 21, 1964 – July 10, 2010) was a small role actor and the son of Irish-American mobster, Mickey Spillane. Mickey was known as the "Gentleman Gangster" as head of the infamous "Westies", the Hell's Kitchen (Clinton, Manhattan, NYC) Irish mob in the 1960s. Robert "Bobby" Spillane was young boy of only twelve years old when his father was gunned down in front of their house in 1977. His father's murder remains unsolved to this day. Spillane, wrote an off-Broadway play, “All Dolled Up” about a cross-dressing gangster. On television, he appeared in one episode of NYPD Blue in 1997. He also appeared in four episodes of Law & Order and in an episode of Rescue Me. Robert Spillane died on July 10, 2010 in the Hell's Kitchen area of New York City. He leaned against an unsecured window screen in his apartment and fell.
