Landed small roles in "Bulworth" and "The Players Club" before getting his big break in "Armageddon" and "The Green Mile," for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.
Fell in love with "Apprentice" competitor Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. The couple was secretly engaged.
Went into cardiac arrest in July 2012. Omarosa performed CPR to resuscitate him.
Died on September 3, 2012 due to respiratory failure. He was 54.
