Adam Carolla still has a shot at making friends with the transgender community -- because TMZ has learned, a prominent transexual dating website has offered to help the radio host redeem himself after his anti-LGBT rant.

The site -- TrannyDate.com -- sent a personal letter to Carolla recently, asking him to join the staff at TD for a day to help him understand "why people do in fact care about us."

Adam spewed some anti-LGBT garbage on his podcast last week -- claiming, "When did we start giving a sh*t about these [transgender] people?"

No word yet on whether Adam plans to grab the, uh ... olive branch.

Adam Carolla has quickly offered a half-assed apology for the anti-LGBT comments he made last week -- telling TMZ, "I'm sorry my comments were hurtful. I'm a comedian, not a politician."

As we previously reported, Carolla said, "When did we start giving a sh*t about [transgender] people?" -- during his podcast last week.

The apology comes after a history of homophobic comments -- including one where Adam said gay parents were "not as good as" straight parents -- so we gotta ask ...

Adam recorded the rant as part of his podcast for "The Adam Carolla Show" -- insisting LGBT people should drop the acronym LGBT and start using "YUCK" instead.

And now, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation is reaching out to its allies in the entertainment industry to pull him from the air -- telling TMZ, “The gross intolerance that [Adam] tries to pass off as comedy should not have a place on our airwaves.”

Adam has a history of making anti-gay remarks on his podcast -- two years ago, Adam also claimed gay parents were "not as good as" straight parents.

Adam had no comment.

Having "The Man Show's" Adam Carolla for a landlord would be pretty cool ... unless you don't pay up ... then he'll crack down on you with some serious legal firepower.

Turns out Carolla and his wife Lynette own a building in Burbank that they rent to the Lounge 22 furniture company. In docs filed recently in L.A. County Superior Court, Adam claims L22 hasn't paid rent since May -- and on July 2nd, he gave them 3 days to pay up or get out.

The deadline came and went -- and Carolla has since fired off a lawsuit, demanding $44,913.42 in unpaid rent from May, June and July -- plus $499.03 for every day they stayed in the place past August 1st.

It's unclear when -- or if -- L22 left the building, but we're told some furniture is still on the property.

The season just started last night and there's already some drama -- Adam Carolla called one of the "Dancing With the Stars" judges a "bitch" after giving him his pathetic score.

Either the censors didn't care or didn't catch it, the cuss appeared on the live East Coast version and West Coast replay of the TV-PG show. Quit your bitching!

Kathy Griffin scared the crap out of people during a recent appearance on radio, and it had nothing to do with what she said. She showed up sans makeup on Adam Carrolla's morning radio show, lookin' interesting -- not necessarily bad, just not at all like Kathy Griffin!

Comedian Adam Carolla kidded about friend Jimmy Kimmel's hidden homosexual tendencies while waiting for his car in front of Mr. Chow. "You know he's gay, right?" said Carolla of his "Man Show" co-host. "How do you think I got on the Man Show?"

So where does Kimmel's girlfriend Sarah Silverman fit in to Carolla's big gay conspiracy? "You mean Silverbeard," he quipped. "Okay, hes bi. He's curious. And obviously she's a lesbian," he added.

Gnarls Barkley's debut album, "St. Elsewhere," has become a bona fide hit. That being said, if you had a guitar with Cee-Lo and Danger Mouse's signature on it, would you also have morning DJ Adam Carolla sign it? That just what TMZ found on eBay today.

Sure, Adam Carolla is a funny guy, but is he even close to the same league as Gnarls Barkley? Did they have Adam Carolla's signature on the guitar when they realized Gnarls Barkley was at the same event, and had GB sign it as well?
