Alyssa Milano has dropped her L.A. case against an obsessed fan who she claims has put her life in extreme danger. But not to worry -- she's fully protected.
We've learned less than an hour ago, the court was notified Milano was dropping the permanent injunction case against Jeff Turner. Milano claimed Turner "has repeatedly shown up to my place of residence ... hiking miles through the hills to reach my property," adding, "I fear for my personal safety, and that of my family and friends."
But here's the deal. Milano's primary residence is in neighboring Ventura County and last month (December 23) a judge in Ventura County issued a permanent injunction against Turner, prohibiting him from having any contact with Milano or her peeps for three years. The injunction can be enforced anywhere in the state, so the L.A. case became irrelevant.
We're told Turner was a no show for last month's hearing and he has not attempted to contact Milano since.

Latina leading lady Salma Hayek topped the survey: more than 65 percent of respondents reported that they considered the 40-year-old "Frida" star sexy. Also over 40 and on top of the sexiest poll: Pam Anderson, Elizabeth Hurley and Halle Berry. Jennifer Lopez and Catherine Zeta-Jones, both 37, scored sexy accolades as well.
Several Bright Young Things -- both Jessicas (Alba and Biel), and Alyssa Milano -- made the list as well. But by and large, America loves its stars grown and sexy: Poor Angie Jolie came up dead last!

The 34-year-old hottress has taken on the role of raising awareness of NTDs. No glove no love?! What are NTDs you ask? They are 13 chronic and disabling bacterial and parasitic infections known as "diseases of poverty," which afflict about one billion people around the world. Who knew? Exactly!
Milano is so committed to the cause that she even donated $250,000 of her own dollars toward buying safe, effective and inexpensive drugs to combat NTDs.
If only Paris would do the same for claustrophobia!

Well Dawn, aside from his current role on ABC, you may remember Josh on "The Ashlee Simpson Show," as one of her boyfriends.
