Anderson Cooper hates Barbie Mom ... HATES HER ... and made sure she knew it this week when he kicked her plastic ass off his talk show.
Cooper was trying his best to understand why the hell Sarah Burge -- aka the Human Barbie -- would want to Botox her 15-year-old daughter to get her to sweat less during beauty pageants.
When Burge started blathering on with some stupid explanation, Coop cut her off ... saying, "I gotta be honest, I gotta just stop. I'm sorry. I try to be really polite to all my guests, but I just think you're dreadful."
He added, "I honestly don't want to talk to you anymore."
Anderson later released a video statement saying, "I regret having her on in the first place and I regret that that's how things ended.
Country starSara Evans has obtained a restraining order against her ex-husband -- claiming he irreparably harmed their children by badmouthing her on Anderson Cooper's new TV show.
Craig Schelske appeared on "Anderson" back on September 20 -- claiming he lost custody of his kids because Sara falsely accused him of being a porn-obsessed adulterer.
Sara claims the interview not only violated a temporary injunction she obtained against Craig back in 2010 -- blocking him from bashing Sara in public -- it also "caused and will continue to cause irreparable harm to the children."
On September 21 -- a day after the interview aired -- Sara filed a request for a restraining order to block Craig from making further statements about their divorce proceedings. A judge signed the order the same day.
A source close to Craig tells us, "This is a violation of his First Amendment rights, and he won't take it lying down."
Anderson Cooper is known for his fearlessness, especially when it comes to war zones. But it was a chat with his mom in a NYC studio that made him dissolve in tears.
In an interview for his new syndicated talk show, socialite and 80s jeans designer Gloria Vanderbilt told Anderson ... after his brother Carter leaped off a 14-story balcony more than two decades ago, she almost followed him. What stopped her was Anderson.
Anderson Cooper has tweeted about the death of his friend -- Oscar nominated director Tim Hetherington -- saying, "The news is gutting."
Cooper called Hetherington a "friend and great photographer" ... adding, "He was such a wonderful guy."
As we previously reported, Hetherington -- who co-directed "Restrepo" -- was killed today in Libya when his camp was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade.
Not to be outdone by Anderson Cooper, ABC News reporter Christiane Amanpour just filed a report claiming she too was attacked by an angry mob in Egypt.
Amanpour claims, "An angry mob surrounded us and chased us into the car shouting that they hate America. They kicked in the car doors and broke our windshield as we drove away."
Anderson Cooper and his CNN news crew claim they were punched, kicked and shoved by a violent mob of pro-Mubarak supporters in Cairo early this morning.
Cooper claims he and his team were trying to get to a spot in between the two sides of protesters in Tahrir Square -- when they were attacked.
Cooper claims the mob tried to break his team's camera -- because they didn't want to be on film -- when the violence escalated and men began to punch members of the news crew in the head.
Anderson explained, "The instinct is try to punch back ... but in a situation like that you really can't because that just inflames the crowd all the more ... so all we could do is just try to walk as quickly as possible, stay together and seek a safe location which is where we are now."
Bowing to growing outrage from the likes of Anderson Cooper, Universal Pictures has decided to pull the trailer for the movie "The Dilemma" -- and replace it with a new one some time today ... Universal tells TMZ.
The trailer in question begins with Vince Vaughn telling a room full of people, "Ladies and gentlemen, electric cars ... are gay." Sources at Universal Pictures told Deadline Hollywood's Nikki Finke they showed the trailer to gay rights groups beforehand, including GLAAD, and didn't get any negative feedback.
But after Anderson complained on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," we're told the studio folded like a cheap suit.
A rep for Universal Pictures tells TMZ, "The teaser trailer for 'The Dilemma' was not intended to cause anyone discomfort. In light of growing claims that the introduction to the trailer is insensitive, it is being replaced. A full trailer, which has been in the works for some time, will post online later today."
Now if only they can make the movie seem funny.
UPDATE: GLAAD tells TMZ they called on Universal to remove the clip from the trailer last month. A rep tells TMZ, "The use of the word ‘gay’ in this trailer as a slur is unnecessary and does
nothing more than send a message of intolerance about our community to viewers."
Anderson Cooper, always the gentleman, walked former First Lady Nancy Reagan to her car after an event in Los Angeles yesterday ... and then drove off with her.
Anderson Cooper often puts himself in harm's way to get a story -- but a NYC woman claims she was the one put at risk and it was all his fault.
Cooper is being sued by a woman who claims she fell through a hole at a firehouse in Greenwich Village that he's converting into a new home.
According to the NY Post, the incident happened last September when the woman fell 17 feet through a hole that once contained fire pole -- the pole had been removed, but the hole remained.
The firehouse was built in 1906 and was used as such until 2006.
