Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend/convicted conman Raffaello Follieri has just been taken from federal prison in Pennsylvania and kicked out of the country ... TMZ has learned.
Follieri pled guilty to conspiracy, wire fraud, and money laundering back in 2008 -- after swindling millions from investors in an American church-buying scheme. He's been behind bars ever since.
Follieri was released today and immediately deported to his native Italy.
A rep for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement tells TMZ, “ICE carried out the order of an immigration judge, and removed Follieri from the United States May 25, 2012.”
The budget for "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" might have just jumped up another six figures -- because last Friday, Catwoman's stunt double BARRELED through a super-expensive IMAX camera ... and TMZ has the crushing footage.
It's unclear who messed up -- the stunt-double or the cameraman -- but either way, the camera appeared to be blown to smithereens.
It was all shot outside some building at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh -- which, we're told, is supposed to be Gotham City Hall in the movie.
Thankfully, no one was hurt -- and with a budget of $250 MILLION ... a broken camera's just a drop in the bucket.
Sources close to production tell us both the camera and the cameraman were not injured during the incident -- but if you look closely, you can SEE camera shrapnel ... and fixing those things ain't cheap!

The woman who ran a posh Beverly Hills salon and allegedly bilked Jennifer Aniston and other celebs out of money is now facing 501 years behind bars.
As TMZ first reported, Maria Gabriella Perez is accused of ripping off the credit card info of a number of stars and private types, including Jennifer Aniston, Liv Tyler, Melanie Griffith and Anne Hathaway.
According to the federal indictment, the alleged billing thefts go back as far as October 2005, with one alleged transaction alone totaling $69,890.

As we previously reported, several items belonging to Raffaello Follieri were confiscated during the criminal investigation into his real estate scam ... in which he lied about his connections with the Vatican to lure investors.
Now, TMZ has learned several items seized by the feds will be a part of an online auction administered by the U.S. Marshals Service between September 14-28. According to the Department of Justice, all proceeds will go to Raffa's victims.
Raffa -- who dated Hathaway from 2004-2008 -- pled guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy and money laundering after feds busted him 2 years ago. He is currently serving a 4.5 year prison sentence.
TMZ has learned ... the U.S. Secret Service just closed in on a woman accused of operating a serious credit card scheme ... and many of the alleged victims are major Hollywood mega-stars.
According to an affidavit filed in United States District Court, a witness claims Jennifer Aniston, Cher, Liv Tyler, Melanie Griffith, Anne Hathaway and Scott Speedman were all violated -- or at least their credit cards were -- by a woman who ran a swanky salon in Beverly Hills called the Chez Gabriela Studio.
According to court documents, Maria Gabriella Perez is accused of ripping off the credit card information from her ultra-wealthy clients ... and "fraudulently [charging] approximately $280,000 worth of charges in a one year period."
According to the docs -- Perez swindled $214,000 from Liv Tyler alone.
Perez was arrested on federal fraud charges -- and is due to appear in court in L.A. later today.
UPDATE: Perez had listed some flattering quotes from her famous clients on her website -- including one from Cher that reads, "Gabriela is my favorite ass kicking facialist."
Perez also posted several personally autographed photos of her celeb clients ... including one from Jennifer Aniston that reads, "Dearest Gabby, Thank you for always being so good to me!"
UPDATE #2: According to the documents, Melanie Griffith has already stated that she is willing to "cooperate with an investigation and testify if needed."
UPDATE #3: Cher's rep tells us the icon was not a victim in the alleged scheme -- and does not know why she was named in the affidavit.
