Mark Madoff -- son of incarcerated former stock broker
Bernie Madoff -- was found dead in his apartment in Manhattan early Saturday morning of an apparent suicide.

Madoff was found hanging in his SoHo apartment by his father-in-law. His 2-year-old child was also in the apartment at the time.
Mark Madoff, 46, was investigated -- along with his brother Andrew -- as part of his father's Ponzi scheme, but never faced any criminal charges.
An attorney for Mark Madoff released a statement saying, "This is a terrible and unnecessary tragedy. Mark was an innocent victim of his father's monstrous crime who succumbed to two years of unrelenting pressure from false accusations and innuendo."
Today marks the two-year anniversary of Bernie Madoff's arrest.
The feds ain't done with
Bernie Madoff just yet -- in fact, Uncle Sam is about to auction off a bunch of the dude's expensive stuff ... starting with the Ponzi schemer's ridiculous shoe collection.

The auction -- administered by the
U.S. Marshals Service to benefit Madoff's victims -- is scheduled to kick off November 13th in New York ... and features over 400 pieces of Bernie's personal property, jewelry, and antiques.
72-year-old Madoff -- the mega-investor who defrauded his clients of nearly $65 billion in the biggest Ponzi scheme ever -- just finished his first year behind bars ... which means he's got 149 left to go.
You may not want to walk in those shoes after all.
Zsa Zsa Gabor -- aka
Prince Von A-Hole's wife -- owes Uncle Sam a hefty load of dough ... and it might all be Ponzi scheme mastermind
Bernie Madoff's fault.
Records show a $118,321 lien was filed against the 92-year-old actress in Los Angeles County back in October, this according to the
Detroit Tax Watchdog.
Mrs. Von A-Hole's tax predicament could be more
Bernie backlash, because his dirty dealings reportedly cost the couple $10 million.
Bernie Madoff was just sentenced to 150 years in prison.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Ruth Madoff visited her embezzler husband
Bernie Madoff at a federal correction center in Manhattan yesterday and left carrying a bag of money. Score!

Bernie has been incarcerated for over a month and is so good at what he does, looks like he's even swindling his fellow crooks. Now that's a professional!
Here's
Ruth Madoff -- wife of $65 billion Ponzi schemer
Bernie Madoff -- in NYC on Thursday (
left) -- and
Peter Billingsley as Ralphie in the 1983 film
"A Christmas Story" (
right).

One of them has been working hard since they were two years old.
We're just sayin'.
